I think this will be over 3.5 goals actually:)

I agree its likely going to be an under 3.5 game as both sides are more than capable of doing away with each other so, its going to be very entertaining for sure. With Sevilla playing from a home side and looking for a way to equate Barcelona in points and possibly move to 3rd place, winning Atletico tonight is a daring one and Atletico has got everything at state with the league because, Barcelona and Real Madrid keeps gaining points on them. The result of this game would go a long way in determining the agility for which Barcelona would be putting in tomorrow's Barcelona vs Real Valladolid fixture so, Atletico has got to be at there best in this game.

A draw is the result closest to the logic in today's match, because the two teams have a lot of weapons, tactics and experience not to lose,
but Simeone knows well that losing points today means greatly losing the lead very soon .
Sevilla enters the match without great pressure, they almost secured fourth place And they can still to get close to third place . At the end in this match the two teams have  tightest defenses in the league. However, there is still opportunity to see goals in both nets as the previous 8 encounters seen 7 times both teams scoring . The odds are very generous for BTTS so I still expect to that in this match.

No i don't think real Madrid can win the league this season nor can they won the UEFA champions league, I think it's a trophyless season for zidane's men, I think Liverpool would stop the UEFA champions league dreams and Barcelona would end their hopes of the league at the El classico, they don't deserve any titles, for me it's only be Benzema that has been outstanding in the Real Madrid team

Indeed, I admit that this season Real Madrid played poorly and inconsistently, very different from Real Madrid the previous season. But it is too early
to say this season Real Madrid will not get a trophy at all. After all, the difference in points between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid is only 4 points,
which is very likely to be pursued with 9 games remaining in La Liga. Especially if Atletico Madrid made a mistake by dropping points in several matches.
Then for the Champions League there is still a chance for Real Madrid to beat Liverpool. because Liverpool's performance is not that good compared
to last season. Regarding this season, Real Madrid has relied too much on Benzema, because other strikers owned by Real Madrid do not have
the same quality as Benzema. It would be very dangerous if Benzema was injured. Therefore, next season Real Madrid will have to buy a forward
who has almost the same quality as Benzema.

Whoever is saying Atletico will fall has been saying that for months,,, so in fact of situation nothing has changed except that Real and Barca are improving their form and not dropping as many points. I see Real still managed to get the full points even missing Ramos so now we have to do our job tomorrow.

Atletico just lost to Sevilla 0:1. It's well deserved win, Sevilla played good game. It's worth to mention that they also missed penalty.
It's great result for Barcelona and Real. Atletico still leading by 4 points against Barcelona, but Barca still haven't played this round - they have game with Valladolid on Monday, so it's likely that Atletico lead will be just 1 point after this round.
While, there is El Clasico in the next round - one of the key games this season. After internationa break it's not easy to tell which team is in better shape.

I kind of saw this coming, that Sevilla was set to win this game against Atletico Madrid. Didn't have any specific statistics to  the game but just a hunch that, it was dooms day for Atletico Madrid and just like that the league is once more competitive again. Now we are going to be seeing the top teams in the likes of Real Madrid and FCB Barcelona not wanting to drop points 8n any of ther games no more. Atletico is  going to have a hard time keeping up and would eventually drop there claim to the title this season. Its so bad of them, to have dropped out of the UCL a week ago and now, there claim to the title is being threatened. At the end of the day, its going to be between FCB Barcelona and Real Madrid once again for the Laliga title.

I totally didn't think that this match will end like that Atletico dropping points left and right now.

Atletico Madrid will regret for years and years for his negligence of a title that was within his reach a few weeks ago .
Barcelona will face Valladolid tomorrow, and no surprises as Valladolid managed to score just once in the last five games against Barcelona. They also have trouble converting their chances into goals, so Barcelona will be winning while keeping a clean sheets.

As Real Madrid won their game against Eibar with a 2-0 score, they are only 3 points behind Atletico now. Barcelona are going to play their game against Valladolid tomorrow but they will most probably win also. So, Atletico will be under a big pressure of these two teams before their game. But they aren't a team that can't handle this pressure. I feel like they will manage to beat Sevilla with a 1 goal difference.

This is, by far, the most important time for Real and Zidane's season. There are both chances of winning the league now (40%) and winning Champions League (30%). Considering how their season started Madrid can be quite content with it's been achieved up to now. Do you think Madrid can win the league?

the difference between atletico madrid and real madrid is only 3 points, there are still more than 7 games to be played and from what i see real madrid, atletico madrid and barcelona have chances to be champions. in the case of real madrid will have to beat barcelona, then will have to beat sevilla and cannot lose the remaining games. Barcelona has a little easier life like atletico madrid. but honestly in my opinion it was already a good season that real madrid did, they managed to get very far in the champions league even with poor performance

I'm sure no one was expecting Sevilla to win just like that. I wasn't too. I mean, considering the fact that they had more at stake to lose from that fixture, it would seem natural to expect them to win or at the very least get a point from the match. Also, Atlético lost their champions league  pursuit this season after they got beaten twice by Chelsea and La Liga seems to be their own viable trophy this season.  I saw the odds too but I made those considerations based on where both teams are placed on the table.

Anyway, congrats on winning your bet on Sevilla.

Don't be so surprised if any people who claimed Real Madrid won't get a trophy! They may be Barca fans or Atletico fans.
I have no problem if someone stated Real Madrid has no chance for the La Liga trophy, it is his right to say anything. He will be shamed at the end of the season if Real Madrid to be the winner then.  

Anyway, the points gap among Atletico-Barca-Real Madrid is getting smaller. The race for the title will be more interesting, and basically all the teams still have the chance to be the winner. This is what I expect in the La Liga competition, the winner should be difficult to predict from today. Let's see which team can play more consistently to collect 3 points on each remaining match.

Thanks for your congratulations nelson4lov but I don't think I was the only one to expect this kind of result, odds were really tight between Sevilla and Atletico as I said above, so even if I am not a big aficionado of spanish soccer I didn't believe in a easy win for Madrid. I don't think having a big incentive to win is enough to easily get the victory otherwise all teams would win which is impossible.

You're welcome.  Talking about the Sevilla vs Madrid game. The same way you were expecting Atlético not to win easily, it's the same way myself and maybe others too wasn't expecting the outcome to be a loss.  Talking about how having an incentive isn't enough to win a game, I think it does not necessarily to be in all matches. There are matches where team spirit is high and they're motivated as a team to achieve a common goal and end up doing just that. I think that's why it's called a competition. If Atlético really wanted to win, they should have. Odds will always be odds too. There's no concrete way of telling which events would occur and which events won't.

The El Clásico match between Real Madrid and Barcelona could be one of the most decisive points in the league race this season. To be honest, in the beginning, I thought this would be one of Atlético Madrid's easiest season's to Lift the La Liga but how they blew the huge lead to just a few points still amazes me to this day.
