Villarreal got another loss this time against Valencia 2-1 away. They actually got 1-0 ahead and they were so close to win after many weeks in the La Liga but Valencia made an incredible comeback in the last minutes. Villarreal's terrible streak is still going on.

The fortunes of Villareal's were very bad. They took the lead 1-0 with the first goal in the 40th minute of the match. After that, they started playing defensively. But fate did not help. Valencia scored a goal in the 86th minute to make it 1-1. And just 5 minutes later in (90 + 1) they scored their second goal and won the match. Villareal's time is not going well. They have not won in the last 9 matches.

That was a crazy match and no one expect such scenario...the match was full of goal attempts and valencia made 11 goal attempts in the first half but they waited till the 86th minute to scored the equalizer...after that villareal defence get paniced and valencia was able to kill the match in the last minutes

@Xxmodded in my personal opinion Atletico should sacrifice their champions league ambitions, and put their strongest team available against Real Madrid, because a win here for them will widen the gap, but should they lose then Real Madrid will be trailing them by 2 points only. Furthermore both teams will be under pressure to win this game, hence I expect couple of goals, and I believe that it’s possible to see 3 - 2 as the final result with Real Madrid winning it.

According to the odds, Villarreal still seem as the favorite for the win but I also expect a boring match. I think we will get a 0-0 or 1-1 draw at the end of the match. Actually, Villarreal need a win in the La Liga so bad. Because they haven't been winning for 7 matches. It seems also very possible for Villarreal to score the first goal of the match.

Well, it ended 2-1 with Valencia coming out victorious. Compared to recent form and stats, Villarreal did seem like the most likely match winner and were the bookies favorite coming into the game. They were ahead. in first half but a lackluster display in the second half cost them valuable points.  Villarreal has to do better than this if they still have Europa league football in their priority list for next season. They can get ahead of Betis and Sociedad. They just have to put in the work. I'm disappointed with this Villarreal team after this game.

I predicted correctly that Villarreal were going to score first. I wish I placed a bet on it.    Valencia got 25 shots in the match and 4 of them were on target. But they still managed to score 2 goals especially in the critical minutes. Villarreal still are going on having one of the worst forms in the league. I wonder when they will finally manage to end it.

Damn Valencia, the one time I actually bet on them to draw or lose, they go and win it, against Villareal of all teams ha. I mean I know, they were the favorites too but they have been the favorites in most of La Liga match ups. 25 shots is not something to laugh at though so I guess I got to deserve backing the team in poor form:)

For Atletico Madrid, the game with Chelsea is more important at the moment. And I think that a draw in the match with Real Madrid will suit everyone, including Barcelona)). If Atletico does not beat Chelsea it will be a pretty strong blow to the team. And it will be difficult to set up for the remaining matches in La Liga. Moreover, Real Madrid is not very strong at the moment.

Another game of today is Elche-Sevilla. Sevilla's 6-win streak has ended with a big defeat against Barcelona 0-2 home. But I still believe that they won't get affected by that too much in this match and they will be fully focused. The Sevilla-Elche match in round 2 were postponed to March 17 so it will be their first head-to-head this season. I think that Sevilla will make up for their loss against Barcelona and they will defeat Elche.

in my opinion real madrid will lose or draw, i did not bet that real madrid will win in this game. I am a fan of real madrid but I do not believe that real madrid can come out with a victory in that game. in my opinion if barcelona wins in today's match and real madrid and atletico draw in tomorrow's match, then barcelona will be able to see the way to be a champion and be motivated to produce better results.

The first half of Elche-Sevilla game ended 0-0. To tell the truth, there was a very poor performance from both teams. Sevilla nearly didn't have dangerous attacks and Elche were better when it comes to it. The losses Sevilla got against Barcelona in the La Liga and the CDR both must have affected them badly mentally as their performance has been trash so far. I won't be surprised if Elche score the first goal and even win this as they are also trying to get rid of the relegation area.

Even though Atletico won tomorrow's match and Barcelona also won, I think the competition for the top spot will still be there. But yes, winning is important but it is a match full of prestige and even though Madrid are not looking at their best but because it is a match full of prestige I am sure a draw will be very possible. Losing or winning for the home or away team won't change anything because there are still matches remaining, and that still can't ensure Atletico lock up the top position although I also hope Atletico can win the title this season.

I think Madrid have to win, the players and the coach have to work hard. Even without Ramos and Benzema I think Madrid can still beat Atletico. Their last match was won by Madrid 2-0 which was a great provision. Atletico's statistics in the last 5 matches are also not good because they only won once. Madrid is likely to use the same strategy when facing Atalanta. They don't have pure stickers at the moment. So Zidane encourages Isco or Marco Asensio to become stickers. Another option is to play Hugo Duro from Real Madrid Castilla.
