This season is not easy for everyone and a lot of injuries were to be expected with such heavy play schedules. Real Madrid's situation is very difficult, it couldn't be worse, and Chelsea can take advantage of this, beat the weakened Real Madrid and advance to the Champions League final. As for the Spanish Championship, I also think that they will not be able to fight for the championship with so many injured players.

This season is not easy for everyone and a lot of injuries were to be expected with such heavy play schedules. Real Madrid's situation is very difficult, it couldn't be worse, and Chelsea can take advantage of this, beat the weakened Real Madrid and advance to the Champions League final. Maybe final score don't reflect it, but it wasn't that easy for Barca to beat Bilbao defense, we struggled in the 1st half. But I don't know what Athletic tried to achieve by playing such football, they just parked buss tonight. Yes, such ugly defensive football worked well in Supercopa final few months ago, but it's difficult to expect that you can beat Barca in such way twice.

I don't recall a season where Messi had not been the most important player in the Barcelona team. His always been the best for the past 6 seasons ago and even at the moment when his not been very much up to the task as before, non has risen to take over from him like the way Benzema is carry the Real Madrid team so far. It shouldn't take the Coppa Del Rey win for us to realize that. On a general note, his not been as great as before but then, congrats to the Barcelona team for winning the Coppa Del Rey title and again, this should help them get motivated towards the laliga title which is still very open. Its not going to be easy because, Real Madrid isn't going to be living out any chances, neither will Atletico Madrid.

Simeone boys aren't kidding today, 5 goals to 0 vs Eibar, that's one of the largest score by ATM since September 2020! And yeah, Eibar is failing so far from making a real attempt with a few minutes left on the game.

I think if the Barcelona team is stable, Messi will stay in Barcelona next season. If not, he could join Manchester City. Koeman has been experimenting with the Barcelona team in almost every match. And we will see the results of these experiments next season if Messi is in the squad.

I'm a Barca supporter but even I think it means nothing. It's still a strong team whatever you want to say and the bookies still think they're the clear favorites so nothing's changed. This is still the team that held might Liverpool and defeated us, so what else needs to be said about Real? Zidane has got a challenge on his hands but he loves it!

But it does mean I'm betting on Getafe today;)

Not so surprising to Sevilla's win, although their rankings are not that different but it seems we all share the same view of Real Sociedad's declining form. Yeah, the game ended in a barren draw. Neither team were able to convert their chances. Even Madrid barely attempts - just 2 shots on target. Considering the fact that Madrid has much more bigger games to play in the next few days, I can't say I'm that disappointed just that I was really hoping that they would reduce the gap even further. While Zidane is chasing UCL glory, he shouldn't abandon La liga title race so he doesn't end up missing out on both titles. A bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush. My small bet on Madrid to win got X already.
