Benzema was outstanding in that match. He became a savior for real madrid to get full points. Two goals from Benzema came in the last minute which proved that he is the hero of this match. Benzema and Lewandowski have become important icons in the league this season, where both are in the temporary top scorer. Lewandowski has collected 4 goals and Benzema 3 goals. Well behind them is Alvaro Morata who has performed brilliantly this season.
Villarreal wasted a Golden opportunity when the match against Getafe where they failed to get full points even though the opponent they faced was a low-ranking team which should be easy for them to win this match because Villarreal were able to dominate the game.

The problem with having Benzema is that he is getting older, he is 35 or 36 if I am not wrong, and yet he plays like the best striker money can buy right now, dude is saving the team in the league, in UCL and in anywhere he plays, dude is amazing. So what do you do? You can't just bench benzema and get a younger player, but if you keep on trusting Benzema with it, eventually he will be old enough to not be able to do what he is doing, and at that point you will need a new striker.

If you do not have him ready now, and play that new striker time to time, then when Benzema stops being good, what are you going to do? It's a very weird situation to be in. I mean Benzema shouldn't have been this amazing at this age .

It's too early to see the top scorer's situation in my opinion. Laliga has just entered its 3rd week, but the seeds of potential top scorers have started to emerge after we see the strikers playing. Cadiz vs Athletic Club tonight, both teams are in scarcity of goals in their first 2 opening games with Cadiz yet to Open their account while Athletic Club have only scored once in 2 games, while both of them being home games. It is honestly very early to even think about who is going to be the top scorer in the league. But in my opinion, it must be either Karim Benzema or Robert Lewandowski. Both of them are two of the best in the world and also in this league as well.

As long as Karim Benzema keeps on performing for Real Madrid, I really do not have any issues with him. It does not matter to me if he is 40 or not. There is probably two more years in which he will be able to play at his best, so he still has two more years to go. It is quite understandable that Carlo Ancelotti is unable to find a suitable replacement for this player at this point in time. Barcelona is also much better than last year, especially if you compare the two first half of the season. The difference with Lewandovsky in your team is night and day. No other Barcelona player could have achieved that goal he scored yesterday. Only then you will see how good he is, and you will also see how valuable he is against clubs where it is 0-0 for a long time. I think Real Madrid is still better, but the differences have crept closer together and it's not that much of a difference. I agree with you on this,  Real Madrid was outstanding last season with this current squad in the team, winning the champions league and Spanish La Liga with the same players and Karim Benzema being the hitman of the team last season. With the current form of the team and the players, Ancelotti has watched their good performance before coming out to say he's ok with the current squad so I think he's players are in their best form now with the main man Benzema still active in scoring goals, I think Madrid is ok and hotter than last season.

I wonder how Valencia and Atletico Madrid will play tonight. I think Atletico should win, but I expect this match will not be easy for them. Karim Benzema is a great player. That guy has been consistent and loyal for so many years. Even when he was under the shadow of Ronaldo he was still loyal and balling. I thought that the peak of Benzema was last season, but with what I'm seeing presently, is like Benzema is set to unleash terror this new season.  He is such a fine and good player with young lads like Vinicius and Rodrigo around, Real Madrid will be strong contenders in both CL and Laliga

Fun statistic: this is Sevilla's worst start in 41 years (!). With the loss of a couple of key centre-backs over the summer, it's hard to predict whether they'll be able to rectify the situation or not. I think this team is not the right team to bet on this season. And I can't even imagine what will happen to Sevilla in the Champions League. Agree with what you said, when facing Sevilla even though they are playing at home at the moment, the odds of 1.85 should be too big because with Sevilla's performance this season it should be an easy win, I think, especially now that Barcelona are in good form.
But in this case it's actually quite good because this is a pretty tempting bet to do.
