I have the feeling that Villarreal, spurred by the winning against Osasuna on Monday will give Barcelona a hard time since the Catalans have had a shaky previous games results.
It's now left to Xavi to be able to do something since they are the hosts. Football can be quite unpredictable and in such a scenario, it's expected that Barca will be the favorites, but Villarreal could either turn things for them.

They are obsessing that they are still a giant in La Liga and can beat other clubs with their history and reputation. Their quality drops a lot since the last time they won Champions League with Neymar, Suarez and Messi. After that season, and after the transfer of Neymar to PSG, then Messi to PSG, they are not competitive enough to beat Real Madrid in a direct El Classico or in a long season.

Try to not relying on Lewandowski is right but let's see, what other players can do to bring Barcelona to win matches. They need more players who can do that to reduce the dependence on Lewandowski. If other players can not do this, the Lewydependencia will continue and even become bigger.

I feel it's because the bigger teams are stronger than they are, surely they want to win every game but when your opponents are better than you and score more goals they are surely going to win, the el clasico was another fixture that exposed barcelona's weaknesses and it is left for the players to respond and work on that weakness, i know they can still compete for the La Liga, but they must work on their weaknesses if they are to do that. Real madrid will waste no time to race away from all the other clubs if they get the chance, and this season it is only barcelona that can stop that from happening, Xavi should also learn and stop benching some good players because of some issues that happened off the pitch.

Even though Barcelona's condition is still much better but this is still not an easy thing in my opinion, especially at this time Villarreal is still one of the clubs that I find troublesome even though in the last few games they have not played well.

But to bet Barcelona is more worth it, moreover there are some players who are starting to recover now.

And it's all a bad sign for Barcelona, especially as a crushing blow to Xavi who put in the wrong players. Real valladolid managed to beat celta vigo 4-1 at home. Celta vigo had more chances to shoot but couldn't capitalize on their chances and had to be defeated.

Valverde scores another goal and puts in another strong performance. He is having the best season of his career so far. What I admire most about him is his passion for goal celebrations. Once Valverde gets the ball, defenders and goalkeepers have no idea what to do. Shots from his gun are powerful and fast, and they rarely miss the target. Yeah we can't deny that. It has proven from the matches against intermilan and real madrid. There are so many weakness owned by barcelona when it comes against the big team like that. The defensive player has become the main weakness from barcelona.

the match against Elche was very good by Madrid. no surprise they scored more than 3 goals. what is surprising is the number of shots that Madrid did against Elche. they don't get so many chances for finishing. but with 7 shots on target, they already got the full 3 points.
