Things are quite problematic for Real Madrid in the La Liga right now. The 8-point difference is quite big to close up against a very consistent Barcelona I mean.

Real Madrid just don't have any other choice than continuing to win as many games as possible for a long time as of now. Because Barcelona literally don't lose any points here. They still win even the games in which they have big difficulties in showing their usual performance. The game against Villarreal was a great example for this surely. Real Madrid are handling the Champions League incredibly on one hand indeed. But I believe their main concentration should be on the La Liga still - at least unless the point difference gets bigger than this.

I don't think, Barcelona will allow anything that will make them to drop down from first position in the la Liga league competition table than to do what will make them to remain in unity to maintain the position till the end of the tournament. Despite, Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 2-5 in the champion league doesn't mean they can win la Liga league title because this season is about to work for the favour of Barcelona in a way people will be surprise in their celebration soon. Real Madrid can struggle to win other titles but it will be difficult for them to win the la Liga league title because Barcelona will never allow such miracle to happen to Real Madrid.

I've honestly never been worried about how Real Madrid won their Champions League game against Liverpool. That is a good thing for them, and Barcelona should not be affected by it.

Barcelona just needs to maintain their best form after winning 8 points over Real Madrid until week 22. This advantage and good record must be maintained, but I don't expect them to underestimate whatever opportunities Madrid have for the rest of the season. Today Barcelona has a more important match, it is a decisive match about who will qualify for the next round of the Europa League this season.

In week 22, Real Sociedad only drew against a team that is in the middle of the La Liga standings and that is Celta Vigo, while based on head to head at least Real Sociedad has good dominance when playing against Celta Vigo.
But unfortunately, at this moment Real Sociedad were basically on top form but failed to beat Celta Vigo. Obviously that is a bad result I think, because on paper Real Sociedad can get a convincing victory in that match.

I also don't believe that Real Sociedad can only get a draw against Celta Vigo. But I actually wanted to bet on Real Sociedad's victory, but for some reason I felt really bad before the match started in less than an hour, I finally didn't make a bet for this match and it was proven true that my feeling was not wrong, even though Real Sociedad was able to score a goal quickly in minute 5 but they couldn't add to the number of goals again in the second half and instead Celta Vigo managed to equalize until the last minute.

It happened and can't be helped now because it's a fact that with an early lead and with a man count means nothing to them after an own goal and equalizer that occurred in the minute of extra time really cost them 3 points.

Now they just have to focus on facing Valencia because that is the most correct thing in my opinion rather than having to drag on with this result.

Against Valencia, I think Real Sociedad will have another difficulty like against Celta Vigo. Indeed, Valencia also suffered a defeat in the previous match against Getafe. But I think this time Real Sociedad will secure all 3 points and this is Valencia's misfortune in this match.

It is still fun to follow the league and see how Barcelona is doing against Real Madrid, but that becomes boring as soon as one of those two teams falters, which is now the case.

On the one hand I am happy for Barcelona to play a solid season, but on the other hand I would prefer to see Real Madrid get closer one more time for the sake of having more fun observing the battle.

It was really fun when they were quite close, but now that Barcelona has widen its pace I don't think there is still Much thing to talk about cuz at it stands,  Barca is already at the avenue of Escape. It won't be easy to loose up to 4 matches in a row,  and even if that is possible, real Madrid will not meet up. I quest it will be wise if Madrid focus on the EUFA champion league. as for La liga, the champion has already been known.

Sevilla have been much better in the recent times. Maybe they are still struggling against the biggest teams of the league. But they are at least able to perform better in the remaining ones and they are finally getting wins as well. They need to keep this going to finish the season at a safe position in the standings too. The Europa League win should also be some help.

Osasuna are a good team but Sevilla should be able to benefit from the home advantage in this game. I think they will win this game by one goal.

Not seems good progress with Sevilla in this season because underperformance and keep inconsistency, one match won and next match have loss three points in domestic league until 12th current standing position right now. Sevilla this season have eliminated in Champion League, Copa del Rey and their potential finish on top fourth La Liga standing position.

But have good performance in  Europe League after winning first Playoff round leg against PSV and three goals winning make Sevilla confidence facing second leg few weeks later. I think playing on European competition trough domestic league position standing seems difficult except Sevilla get Europe League tittle in this season.

It won't be easy for Real Madrid to be able to beat Atletico Madrid this week in a derby match. These two clubs will definitely want to achieve a result that will make them satisfied with the 3 points they want. I think otherwise. because, Atletico Madrid need full points to maintain their ranking in the top four zone of La Liga. Ateletico will target full points, and appear all out to subvert Madrid. but, it seems that this match will be a tough test for Atletico Madrid. the reason is, Diego Simeone's squad fell in the first meeting with a score of 1-2. in this match, Atletico must prove that they are able to provide fierce resistance to their city rivals. so, we will be presented with a match with a hot atmosphere. because after all, this game is the Madrid derby.

I have not watched many Spanish games this season but I am surprised by the point difference between Barcelona and Real Madrid. They players are tired from all the commitments? At what point or in which minute of the game against Liverpool did you think that they players are tired? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you might have felt it when the keeper made that awful mistake. But apart from that mistake and despite the fireworks during the night at Real Madrids hotel, the whole squad seemed as fit as they have never been before. They destroyed Liverpool literally, they tore them apart as if Liverpool was playing with two red cards.

The Europa League is their last chance and I really think that they will show a better performance there than in any other competition. We all know that they have extraordinary experience in the Europa League. Aren't they even the club who won it most often?

La Liga is going bad for them. This is a season they should try and forget about unless they can catch up over the next few weeks. It is 9 points to the Europa League qualification and that's not impossible to achieve, but there are a variety of other clubs that are performing better than usual.

I'm sure they have given their best, but the results are still not satisfying for the fans. Since they are both involved in any competition asides the Spanish La Liga Competition, then they will be more prepared and ready than Real Madrid. Real Madrid game against Liverpool was a great one prior to this game. They have shown top class performance regardless of how they conceded so fast at Anfield.

Two of my prediction for this game would be for either of Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior to score or for Real Madrid to get the winner at home. They have a good record when they play a derby liie this especially at home ground. Real Madrid needs like two three players to be signed to boost the squad.
