A game that Real Madrid still has to win to keep the chance of winning this season. Despite only playing with 10 men in the second half after Ronald Araujo received a red card in the 59th minute, they managed to maintain their advantage until the final whistle sounded. It's true that it's been a longer time for Barcelona because they have to play with 10 people. I must appreciate Busquets' marvelous assist to Raphinha first of all. It was an amazing lob pass and Raphinha turned it into a nice goal. Araujo took a big risk by getting that red card maybe. But I believe it was worth it otherwise there was going to be a one-on-one situation with ter Stegen. Maybe even thanks to this challenge they won the match.

Barcelona has the opportunity to double the lead to 2 goals if Ferran Torres doesn't waste his penalty opportunities. But it failed and made him regret it. I almost believed that Barcelona would lose or maybe drop points after Araujo's red card, but Barcelona managed to keep clean sheet and win the match.

But fortunately, Araujo will still play in the El Clasico match because he only got 1 match missed against Bilbao.

Valencia was not strong enough to stand against a team like Barcelona today, Xavi performed pretty well during the match because he knew how to manage the game even when they are playing with 10 players for more than 60 minutes against Valencia, they defended the goals they scored in the being of the game while in the second half of the game, Valencia had more control over the game, unlike the first half.

Looking at some of the comments made by Piqué in the past about the Catalan independence, somebody might indeed think that Barcelona is a political party. Personally, I prefer Pau Gasol's style, who is also catalan, but keeps his political thoughts for himself. The opposite is adding fuel to the fire. He's obviously not doing well right now, but sometimes crucial minutes are key to a Madrid win. It's been 80 minutes now and they're still doing very well in terms of their performance but they've also wasted a lot of chances in this game.
