This is purely more than a miracle. I think Real Madrid is in danger of losing this match against ATM. It is 50+mins and ATM 3 : 1 Madrid.  Honestly, it has been very long I saw ATM beat Real Madrid.  It has always been Real Madrid winning ATM. I'm sure Xavi worked hard to increase his players' motivation in the second half. Celta Vigo didn't just play defensively because they were superior. but because Barcelona put so much pressure on them, they didn't give Celta Vigo players many opportunities to control the ball for too long.
Barcelona players showed extraordinary spirit. 3 goals in a short time really makes some fans in disbelief. but this is football when one team has lost focus on playing and the attacking team sees weaknesses in the other team. So it's not luck there, but hard work that has been done.

I think it is not a miracle. It is because Real Madrid has a weak defense and they have no power in attacking line.
If you take a look the starting line up of Real Madrid, they have no Carvajal and they only put Rodrygo as a pure attacker in the front line. This actually makes Real Madrid looks badly, it makes Atletico Madrid can focus to attack.

I also guessed the same, Real Madrid has better stats for the previous matches. But it is a home match for Atletico Madrid, they always have good motivation to win at home. So, it is not very surprising if they can play more aggressively today, especially in the first half of the match. Atletico players know well how to take advantage from the poor starting line up of Real Madrid.

I think Atletico Madrid really performed extraordinary in this match, they were able to take advantage of quick opportunities to score goals which made them even more confident playing in front of their supporters. For Real Madrid, their winning trend had to end badly at Atletico Madrid's home ground because Real Madrid was really unable to change the situation in today's match.

Even Barcelona fans are quite happy with the bad results experienced by Real Madrid because Barcelona can sit comfortably as leaders of the standings this week. A big advantage for them because Barcelona can widen the gap to 1 point after Real Madrid failed to secure full points in today match.

I watched the whole game and I must say that I was very impressed, Barcelona were the favorites on paper to win the game and the fact that Barcelona's coach made the mistake of having put Ferran Tores at the beginning of the game, created instability and inefficiency in the team, which led to the team conceding two goals, because the entire team went on the attack in a desperate attempt to score a goal and remained fragile in defense. But as soon as Xavi corrected this by removing Ferran Torres and replacing Rafinha. Barcelona was effective in attack and scored 3 goals and won the game, João Cancello and Jao Felix are one of the good signings that Barcelona made this season. The Barcelona squad has a good future, they have much better chances of becoming La Liga champions again and of also going far in the European Champions League this season. Honestly, when Real Madrid's coach said they weren't going to sign any more players, I thought: he really believes he has a squad capable of winning the la liga? I said to myself that it was not possible that the Real Madrid coach and the management really thought they had a good squad as they were. So I thought: maybe when the games start and the defeats come, they will come to their senses and see that they don't have a good squad and that it was a serious mistake to have thought that they didn't need to spend money on hiring more players for the attack, mainly because they didn't they were in favor of hiring Mbappe. The fact is that Real Madrid is much worse in terms of attacking squad than in past seasons, they have many average players. but there are few players in attack who score goals; See that I'm talking about at least scoring goals, because talking about a striker of Benzema's level, Real Madrid doesn't have that anymore. In the Champions League they were lucky in the game against Union Berlin. I really doubt they'll get far

It's unbelievable that Girona is in second place and only Girona and Barcelona are the teams with the highest number of goals scored, as there are only 5 games that have been played so far. but even so this is an excellent performance from Girona, we will see in the next games when they play against big teams how they will do, after the next game they will play against real madrid and in that game we will be able to see what can be expected from Girona in this season

Diego Simeone thrashed Carlo Ancelotti at Estadio Civitas Metropolitano. Good news for Atletico Madrid, grabbing three points from Real Madrid. I would say it's not miracle, rather just coincidence, besides Real Madrid defendlines were opened and easily invaded by the Atletico players, both goals were headers. However Real Madrid did attempt to levelled the game but couldn't because Los Colchoneros didn't decline after applying a defensive strategy against the visitors. Alvaro Morata scored a brace with headers, he's the MOTM of the game with rating of 8.2.

Unfortunately my predictions didn’t go as I had hoped. Real Madrid received the third goal within the first minute of the second half, final score of the derby : Atletico Madrid 3 - 1 Real Madrid. I really believed that the Meringues might do a remontada perhaps in the final minutes of the match as they did before in previous matches but Billingham wasn’t thee today he played but his presence wasn’t enough. I thing the main issue lay in their defense. Atletico Madrid effectively were scoring with solid defense and counter attacks. Anyone could see the vulnerabilities in Real Madrid's defense, I personally feel that some of Ancelotti's decisions like substituting Kroos after he scored the only goal and switching tactics in such a match were so wrong ( lol even that I’m not a coach).

Do you think Real Madrid has the potential to achieve something or go far in the UCL this season? The situation at the Bernabeu seems to be quite concerning.
With this result, Barcelona has taken the lead now and they have been performing better recently, Xavi efforts are really paying off. Real Madrid will have a big problem in recovering from this setback unless they secure a victory in the El Clasico matches I believe they will end up 2nd in LaLiga standing even that’s early to say.

Atletico are a very strong team too. I was expecting Real Madrid to win by A little goal difference, because they were not playing at home but it did not go that way and Jude Bellingham was not enough to be the difference and Real Madrid cannot continue in top of the Spanish table. Real Madrid just conceded their first defeat in the league after maintaining 5 matches  unbeaten, I feel so sorry for the Madrid fans that viewed the match with hopes of winning the game because everyone taught Atletico Madrid were not in a very good form to face Realmadrid and they would easily beat them but the difference became the case and Madrid were only able to score a consolation goal.

 If you check the Stats you'll see that Realmadrid's were very dominant in the match and had better chances of winning  the game they had about 20 shots with 5 on target and played about 11 corner more than that of Atletico Madrid, they didn't have a very finisher and Jude Bellingham was unlucky to rescue them today, Realmadrid needs to start looking for another striker against the upcoming winter windows cause they can't be depending only on Jude Bellingham always, and Joselu is not who they can fully rely on.

The Madrid derby was way different than I expected honestly. Because I was hoping to see Real Madrid winning. But Atletico Madrid really gave them a football lesson today. I don't mean that their statistics were better but they were much more efficient when it comes to taking advantage of the opportunities.

Morata is really on fire these days. He scored 2 goals in the derby and played a huge role in the victory. Besides I wonder why Ancelotti made a change like that in the lineup. I mean we watched Bellingham on the front and Modric played behind Bellingham - Rodrygo duo. I thought he wouldn't change that area in this game as well.

Ancelotti may be too confident with their squad at that time. He thinks it is enough to sign Joselu for the striker option. Sadly, Joselu is still not enough, Ancelotti needs better striker if he wants to target for the title this season. Ancelotti tried to change the formation, changes the tactics as well. But it seems not effective, it is not Real Madrid game play. Since many years, Real Madrid always signs top strikers to optimize the effectiveness of the tactics. Unfortunately, they have no top striker during this season, it is very obvious to decrease the productivity of their goals in each match. Even worse, Real Madrid has a weak defense, it becomes another problem in Real Madrid squad this season. I don't know why Ancelotti only focused to build Real Madrid midfield line.

Yep. Girona performance is very surprising. Before the season begins, I believe there is no one that expects this team to be in the second place. Girona has no many top players in their squad but Girona can play as a solid team. TBH, I really appreciate what Girona can do so far. If they can maintain their good performance, it is not impossible that they can finish at the top 4 this season.

I never thought Atletico Madrid would be so good in this encounter after seeing Madrid dominating their previous games, I just thought this game would end in a draw but Diego Simeone came with a different game plan which really worked for him and his squad, not that defending style of play we all know ATM for, I believe this change would go a long way for Diego Simeone.
To me Madrid has never been a threat this season with the absence of Big Benz even with the injured Vinicius Jr, it was going to be very hard for them to even beat ATM or Barcelona.
The Madrid side doesn't have that spark of last season and I feel they are going to face another huge blow again.

Good victory for Atletico Madrid; bad defeat, bad performance from Real Madrid as they struggled against Morata right from the first minute of the tie. Also Carlo Ancelotti set up feels weird; maybe he undermined the Bitter Madrid neighbors. Also Carlo needs to find an inside solution to Real Madrid striking problems or trust Joselu more.

Good weekend in La liga; Fans will hope Atletico Madrid can build on this win and kickstart their season.

As I predicted in the previous post, this match will not be easy at all for El Real. which in the end Diego Simoene was able to overthrow Real Madrid at the Metropolitan and sometimes Atletico. This derby match is always a hot match and also a battle for the high prestige of city rivals. Even though in the last two matches in two different competitions, ATM's performance was unstable, in the Madrid derby it always showed differences. Usually the match ends hard and hot, with a high-tension playing atmosphere. Uniquely, the three goals scored by Morata and Griezmann were headers. It was clear in this match that Madrid's defense was careless in high balls. that's why Morata and Griezmann easily scored the winning goal for them. Apart from that, Saul Niguez contributed a lot from his two assists.

On the other hand, Real Madrid had difficulty penetrating Atletico's defense, even the goal that was created came from a kick outside the penalty box by Toni Kroos. Even though Madrid had more control over ball possession, even having 20 shots, there wasn't a single big chance even though 5 shots were on target. Well, one thing that makes me quite confused is why Don Carlo didn't prepare his starting eleven as usual. However, he prefers to rotate some of his players, especially the front striker.
As a result, Madrid lost the first match and they had to temporarily give up the top position of the standings for Barcelona. one more thing, Madrid really needs an established, pure striker who can be relied on on the front lines. But despite all that, perhaps with Vini Jr's recovery from his injury Madrid can show another good performance.

This season's Spanish La Liga campaign promises to be a very interesting one

A quick goal from Alvaro Morata changed the course of this match because Atletico were able to control the match well after leading 1-0. Diego Simeone's troops did not reduce their aggressive tempo because Atletico Madrid acted more aggressively after leading 1-0 where they continued to launch attacks which in the 18th minute Griezmann was able to double the lead.

The defeat with a score of 3-1 was really unexpected because Real Madrid was able to perform quite well by winning the match in the previous match. But Atletico Madrid was able to provide valuable lessons for Real Madrid in this match because they immediately pressed by using space to score goals. For Ancelotti, he has to evaluate the team's performance in the next match because if they fail to win in the next match, Barcelona will likely widen the gap with them.
