I really appreciated this big victory by them despite losing to Valencia by a big score and getting a draw against Lazio by a last minute goal. They really need this kind of results in big games in the La Liga if they want to be competitive for the league title.

I am also a Barcelona fan. And with that defeat I am very confident that Barcelona will win the La Liga title again. Currently the Barca squad has played very well and solidly. I can say that currently their squad is the best in the League. So even though this is only the beginning of the season, I really believe that with the depth of the squad that Barca has, it is very possible for them to win the title.

Ancelotti realized that the bench is short, there are practically no substitutes for Modric and Kroos, after Benzema's departure the concept of attack for Madrid ceased to exist. Even with a game in hand, Atlético is still behind both Real and Barcelona. I don’t think they will get involved in the race for the title, but still this victory over their eternal rival is extremely nice (for them lol not for me).
As for Real, it’s just starting to infuriate me that first Real concedes a goal and then tries to correct the situation. Yesterday the opponent was strong and it was not possible to do this. I hope things will get better when Vinnie returns, at the moment I'm not happy.

I didn't expect Atletico Madrid to win in the Madrid derby against Real Madrid. I predicted this match would end in a draw but Real Madrid was forced to accept the reality of defeat. I also highlight Real Madrid's defense and goalkeeper. Kepa Arrizabalaga and Alaba performed under poor performance. Vinicius absence was felt when they met Atletico Madrid in the derby, Real Madrid front line became helpless and lost their creativity.
