I was a bit surprised to see the head to head statistics between Girona vs Real Madrid because from the last 3 meetings Real Madrid was unable to win from Girona and on April last season too Real Madrid have already lose with big scores 4-2 so this proven although Girona status as mediocre team in Laliga but they have been several times to make Real Madrid get in trouble so Girona cannot be underestimate in this match moreover Girona status is still unbeatable so clearly they are much better if we compared to their performance for last season

Barcelona got the three points yesterday against a weak Sevilla no matter that they mobilized and played well yesterday night against Barcelona,all the teams do though not only Sevilla.Barcelona came from a draw 2-2 against Mallorca in midweek and they needed a win yesterday night which they got and are calm now about what will happen next.

All the pressure is on Real Madrid tonight to win against Girona who strangely this year was in first place leading the La Liga until yesterday night and if they win against Real they got to first place again.It will surely be a difficult game tonight and I predict an over 2.5 goals bet as a safe one here.

Ramos is entirely responsible for Sevilla's defeat against Barcelona. How could he make such a mistake in the end? Such a mistake was never expected from a world-class defender like him. The way he scored his team's goals, it felt like he was a Sevilla player and not a Barcelona player. I don't understand how he got the ball back from the point where he was standing.  

Own goals are not unusual. We have seen many players scoretheir  own goals before but in a different way.  

Ramos was standing slightly in front of the goalpostt, from where he was standing a defender would never pass the ball back because the empty goalpostt was right behind him but why did he pass the ball back?
He might be dropped from the team for the mistake he made.

No doubt, Sometimes own goal happens not only due to the fault of the player but also as a result of pressure coming from the opponent team Barca, and the blame should not only be on the shoulders of Ramos, if the team as a whole was containing or matching pressure with Barcelona, the opponent wouldn't have had the opportunity to near their eighteen-yard box let alone putting the defender Ramos on that pressure that resulted in him giving a wrong back pass from the head cross that caused the goal.

Yes, Ramos failed to anticipate the ball well, and if Sevilla can hold Barcelona to a draw, Orjan Nyland will definitely be Man of the Match. Barcelona failed to convert various opportunities into goals, which could have resulted in a bigger victory. Sevilla should be able to get 1 point based on the statistics of both teams after the match ends. I liked Sevilla's performance in playing the match. OG Ramos accidentally blocked Yamine Yamal's header. Ramos intended the ball he was holding to be anticipated by Nyland but the goalkeeper was not in a ready position.

Girona, the surprise and flash team of the season, go into week eight as leaders. Michel's team are unbeaten and won again at Villarreal after falling behind earlier in the week. They have made some very good additions to last season's good squad. For Real Madrid, Vinicius Junior could return to the starting eleven this time but i don't expect Alaba to play and Rüdiger is available but not fully fit. Real struggled in the Atletico Madrid derby, especially in defending air balls. Girona can take advantage of this with Dovbyk. I think Girona will score but Real Madrid can pull rabbits out of the hat in these games with their big team reflexes. I think the game will start with a fast start and there could be goals against each other.

Barcelona has taken the first place in the league now, a lucky win and 3 points, so they have 20 points only 1 point more. But today the topgame is played in Girona, the guest is Real Madrid. Xavi Hernandez is a promising coach that have purpose for the club, his vision is to see Barcelona on-top La Liga table and lifting the most significant title which is the UEFA Champions League title. But he first of all, concentrate on his opponents in league game. Sevilla performance in the game was outstanding, good to see José Luis Mendilibar men displayed such incredible qualities towards the blaugrana, though they lost the game but it have given them the necessary motivation to start winning crucial games. Sevilla have a long way to go this season, just a matter of time before the bounce back to winning ways which is purely going to be beneficial to the club and there supporters.

Sevilla perform better than expectations in this match, and they were surely deserve one point after having performance like this in all match even they were unlucky to have own goal and lost of point which was surely important for them and Barcelona with this win now having top spot for one day because now after few hours we will have another interesting match which will decide who is going to stay at the top for rest of the week.

In last few matches, we have decline in performance of the Barcelona which is surely not good as now things are going to be tough for the all top ranked teams which are competing in top leagues with Champions League match is also coming after few days, so they need to be perfect for this all Sevilla is surely now back in business and most chances we will have good performance from them in coming matches.

In the game between Real Madrid and Las Palmas, Vinicius Junior played for his team ad n got recovered and was injured for some weeks, obviously, Ancelotti was under pressure because of this player being injured and other players in Real Madrid had to do his job and finish the balls during that time but in this game when Vinicius Junior returned to the field, Ancelotti was not satisfied at all and he was complaining about this player.
It seems Ancelotti should be given more time to Vinicius to get back to his good form.

They were doing fine without him and I felt that instead of rushing to play him against Las Palmas, Ancelotti would had allow him to rest and be fully fit to play against  Girona which is a more tougher side, Vini jnr just recovered from injury so I won't be suprised if his performance was not very welcoming especially since he's not fully recovered, but Vinicius is a star player for Realmadrid and I believe he'll  be fully fit and ready to face Girona today.

I agree that Sevilla's loss in this match was because they were unlucky, Barcelona could not create goals, and the 1 goal that came in this match was a goal born from Sevilla's Sergio Ramos.
Yes Sevilla could have held Barcelona at bay, and I think a draw would have been the result had there been no own goal. But this is football, sometimes luck is also the deciding factor whether a club wins or loses. And that happened to Sevilla in this match, they must be willing to lose points because of their unluckiness.
