Is this based on data or on feelings? I think that Barcelon is still paying a hell of a salary and they can't align the current perception of the club with what FC Barcelona is right now. They are struggling with the fact that Messi is gone and imagine, how would anyone replace the fact that Messi is gone?

That's a fact, In the news that we have seen where management cut quite a large salary which was done last season, such as De Jong's salary and maybe everything. But the players didn't mind the salary cut because like De Jong he was heavily linked with Manchester United at that time but he chose to stay with Barcelona even though his salary was cut. even though if he joined Manchester United at that time he would automatically get a bigger salary than he received at Barcelona.

But the loyalty of Barcelona players has been proven to be strong enough, they are ready to stay with the Barcelona team even though the club's situation has not improved at that time. I think you guys are getting it all wrong the Elclasico has always been big even before Cristiano Ronaldo and Leonel Messi both reached their prime. The Elclasico has always been an important fixture in the Spanish La liga season. This is bigger than the player, it's a rivalry that would always be big any day any time. Yes Ronaldo and Messi gave it more appeal from neutral fans (non real Madrid or Barcelona fan) but anyone who is a core fan of both team or a strong follower of football would always anticipate this fixture.

Well, we agree that in essence the El Clasico match is always an interesting spectacle between the two giant Spanish League clubs who are eternal rivals. From era to era, this match is always a big match for all football fans, especially for fans from both sides.

I'm very impressed with the performance by Atletico so far but then I would say they should add consistency to it and that way a their efforts so far will be worth the while, but if they happen to drop points amidst the season they and go down the table, I would say it was needless putting up all this performance only to com down the table when they needed to be at the top the most.

I actually do not see any problem with him being in Real Madrid as long as he plays well. However, the problem is if he is in Real Madrid, it is very possible that he is going to suffer an injury because you know the competition is definitely very high. At least compared to if he goes to the Saudi Pro League or somewhere else, right? I know he can definitely still play football very well. But the problem is if at this age, he picks up an injury, it is going to be a big problem for him in the future. And I agree that if he does decide to retire, it is not going to be really unbelievable at this point.

Watching the league and the national team, he is playing a lot like a defensive midfielder late in his career, that allows him to be around for the defense, as much as he can defend of course with his age, but also he is the one that gets the ball from the defenders and start the attack, that allows him to be the playmaker sort of speaking. That is not a bad idea, that actually helps both teams to utilize him at his old age. It is not all that easy for him to attack and score or assist, but he could definitely do a hockey assist and just get the ball rolling.

I still think that he should retire at the end of the season, or at least shouldn't be at Real Madrid anymore, he could maybe go to Saudi Arabia or something, he would be amazing there for a few more years, but that dude is 38 years old, he is already quite old, I do not know how much football is left in him anymore and I am feeling like it must be not a lot of it, so it wouldn't be weird if he retired.

Atletico Madrid have good performed in this season 6 of 8 matches, have one match left against Sevilla and get chance up to second standings position have the same points with Girona who collected 22 points. Become second teams have fewest conceded goals after Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid conceded 8 goals until playing 8 matches and better than Barcelona have conceded 10 goals. Next match, against relegation teams standings Celta Vigo seems not problem for Atletico Madrid take three points and pressure for Real Madrid, Girona and Barcelona who have highest position above Atletico.
I see difference with Atletico Madrid performance in this season actually after winning Madrid match derby from Real Madrid and have more confidence against Barcelona or top other standings teams.

Madrid have invested in great midfielder's, now it's time they move focus towards bringing in strikers who can serve and work well with these midfielder's.

They really just need one striker and the team should be good. Joselu can play as a back up striker and they already have young talented midfielders.

The coach has started to rotate regularly which means other players get more playing minutes than Modric, but of course Ancelotti will not take a big risk by substituting Modric for some tough matches such as against Barcelona at the end of the month.

Bellingham is not in the same role as Modric, but Bellingham has certainly helped a lot this season. Kross and Modric are unlikely to stay much longer at Real Madrid and that's why I find them on the bench more often than not starting most games.

It would be very tough for Realmadrid to get Halaand out of city next summer cause his contract with Manchester City is still long therefore it would cosr them more to get his signature, however Mbappè won't cost alot and they could get him on a free transfer when the 1 year contract extension he had with PSG expires next summer, negotiating a deal for Mbappé won't be very had cause he already did that secretly with Realmadrid and would really love to move over there cause it his dream club, and moving ro Realmadrid comes with lots of opportunities that would be beneficial to Mbappé.
