Guys! who else have noticed that most teams in the Spanish league (La Liga) are leading the standings in the Europe Champions League, So does this mean they are really performing better and well compared to previous seasons or are they are just lucky to be in groups with weaker teams and took first places of most each group for now?

Madrid is still in the race and very likely to be the champions of the UCL this season if they could continue with their consistency.

It is a little difficult but Madrid's experience and strength at the moment are able to cover the loss of 2 mainstay defenders with their players who can be said to be in defense.

And if you look throw this season, Barcelona is  playing quite well. Although Barcelona is not at the top of the table. However you can't deny  their performance  is quite good.

So why would the Barcelona management decide to sack Xavi?
I can't find any valid reason for it.

Koeman was a worst manager to Xavi Hernandez, The beautiful thing about Barcelona is that, they do not forget their legends. Ronald Koeman and Xavi Hernandez are both legends to the club and they give them time to make things right.
Koeman man never did good job from his start to ending, and Barcelona went ahead to face a hard season.
Xavi Hernandez since his take over has made some good changes, there's no way he'll be sacked. He won better games in his first two seasons compared to Koeman.
The potentials are present also in the squad to win the Champions League and the La Liga. The conclusion of it all is that, Xavi Hernandez won't be sacked.

Koeman was tasked with stabilizing the Barcelona squad. But he failed completely. Barcelona's performance deteriorated day by day. Even against weaker teams I have seen Barcelona team not able to play well. And that's why Koeman was sacked by the Barcelona management and Xavi was given the job of coach.

Xavi is inexperienced as a coach. Even then he was able to bring about several positive changes within Barcelona. Gradually he was able to strengthen the party. The important thing is that after Xavi became the coach, Barcelona became champions last season. The team is playing very well in the Champions League this season as well. So why Barcelona management would sack such a successful coach is beyond me. Barcelona is the favorite for the La Liga title this season as well.
