If Barcelona wins the match today, the point difference between the top and them will be reduced to 1. Athletic Bilbao is a team that plays well from time to time, but I think Barcelona will win today. While Real Madrid has lost points, Barcelona will take advantage of the chance to close the gap. Their last draw against Granada wasn't on the cards. They will want to win this match, which is a little more difficult, and close that gap.

Barcelona will win at Camp Nou which will make the competition for the La Liga title interesting. A one point difference if it occurs until the last match of the season, of course it will be the result I want.

Girona game who would have thought to see like 5 goals only in the first half,I thought Girona should have no problems winning against last place in the standings and I never thought they would allow more than one goal conceded as the worse case ever yet they conceded 2 goals with only 45 minutes of the game played.They showed great character though Girona turning things around already in the first half when in the 24th minute they were down 2 goals and they managed to score 3 goals in just 10 minutes,I think they are going to crush even further Almeria who honestly has not showed anything for good during all this La Liga season.

Okay, the current scores are good enough for girona. The club has been successfully scoring 4 goals against almeria. The chance to win is very big right now with only around 10 minutes + additional times remaining at this moment.
The bad thing if girona must be conceded two goals from almeria which is proving the defensive line was the main problem owned by girona. Girona is very close to get full points.
Even though the club conceded so many goals against garbage team but i do understand that if girona may not be lucky enough in this match. Girona is still competing for the top position.

I think that this club has a bright future for sure. Girona is slowly but surely moving forward to rebuild the club to be even better than before. No chance for almeria to scoring additional goals. It's impossible to happen.

Today's match 2-5 against Almeria is a fight until the last minute and I predict Girona will win this match. Where last season this team was at number 10 in the points table, this season they are playing their best due to the signing of good players. Girona’s consistency this season is becoming more interesting and something Barcelona fans should be scared of because they don’t want to lose any matches; they only lost to Real Madrid and drew against Real Sociedad in their La Liga opening match, which is a very good performance from them, and if they keep it up, they will surely qualify for European competitions next season.

If they win this match, they will have the same points as Real Madrid, but the goal difference will keep them in second place behind Real Madrid.

Sevilla defense was the main factor in Real Madrid failure to win. Real Madrid had several good opportunities but Sevilla defenders played very disciplined and were always alert in blocking Real Madrid attacks. Real Madrid attack line also didn't play optimally, they wasted several opportunities that could have been goals.
Sevilla success in holding Real Madrid to a draw was due to good play from Sergio Ramos and his colleagues who guarded Sevilla defense area. Real Madrid has tried hard to get an additional three points, but Sevilla managed to make Real Madrid lose two points in this match which made the competition at the top of the standings even hotter.

That's exactly right, Madrid had several good opportunities but failed to score, on the other hand, Sevilla defense was also very strong with Sergio Ramos. The mention of Ramos playing for Sevilla still feels a little strange to me, and Alaba was the unlucky player to score an own goal. Carvajal appeared impressive and saved Madrid from defeat a few minutes later, I think a draw was fair enough for both of them.

The competition for the top four in the standings is indeed getting fiercer because the difference in points is very thin, however, Madrid is still leading the top of the standings for the time being. I was quite surprised by Girona performance, who are competing closely in the top four of the standings this season, it looks like they can finish in the UCL zone if they continue to be consistent with their current performance.

Real Madrid's failure to win their game yesterday against Sevilla I think was because of their lack of converting the chances they got in that game. Sevilla's defense which included former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos for a fact where very solid and good with their defensive technicalities but I still think Madrid had chances of winning the game but was clinical enough to use those chances.
However, the two teams I think were okay with the result of yesterday and would be in action this week in the UEFA Champions League competition.

Impressive innit? Prior to this game, I predicted they would win three of them next five fixtures and this is just the first. Five goals to two. It was the comeback into the game that made me smile. I've been observing them closely.

Villarreal and Alaves are near the bottom of the standings. To be honest, I was surprised to see Villarreal at the bottom. Usually Alaves was not a serious opponent for them and could win only at home. Let's see how this away match will end.

Real Madrid didn't lose, they just failed to win a match they should have won. However I have to admit that Sevilla played well in that match even though they deserved to lose points at home if not for two disallowed goals, but that is another part that should not be the reason why Real Madrid didn't win.

Sevilla is certainly very confident of performing well at home, and this is proof that they are really able to get into good form after sacking their old coach. Playing a draw against Real Madrid is the same as winning the match, but this draw has certainly harmed Real Madrid, who are in fact the favorites. Yeah Madrid failed to win a game everyone considered they would win without much stress but they couldn't survive the defense by their ex team mate Ramos who was very outstanding in yesterday's game. I know Madrid are in good form but Sevilla is an opponent that they shouldn't have underestimated. Both of them did very well but if you check, had it been the chances gotten by Sevilla were converted then I don't think we should be saying this now.

Madrid find it difficult to penetrate there defence and which brought me to say this again that ever since vinicius came back from his injury he is not performing at his best the way he use to. Vinicius of before injury would have performed better than the vinicius of now. I just hope that he get his form back as soon as possible.

Since the match between Madrid and Sevilla ended draw, only God can vindicate athletic Bilbao because I know for sure that Barca will win the match and if Barca should climb the top then it will be very hard for them to come down.

If they can continue to be consistent this season, girona could have the potential to finish in the top four standings at the end of the season and appear in the UCL next season. Being in the bottom zone in the standings and then, Celta Vigo played with only 10 players from the 25th minute so obviously, Atletico can maximize that moment to win. But, if for example Celta Vigo is still playing with 11 players but of course, I still believe that Atletico will still win even though Atletico is playing away in this match. But about Villarreal, I don't understand why in this season Villarreal looks so bad. Maybe I won't be surprised by the results of Girona's comeback because they are currently in the top 4 and even overshadow Atletico and Barcelona. Moreover, against Almeria it should not be difficult for them to score 3 points again at home. A total of 5 goals were scored by Girona in this match and I want to appreciate one of the players, namely Dyvbyk, who scored a brace and at the same time made the enthusiasm of the Girona players rekindle. As a result, even though Girona had made a comeback with a score of 3-2, in the second half they were still able to increase the difference by 2 more goals which made the score 5-2.

I think anyone who initially bet on Girona will be a little nervous and lucky that Girona can turn things around and give good results in the standings. Honestly Real just didn't play that good, it wasn't regarding Ramos, as usual it felt like Ramos should have seen like 5 yellow cars, it wasn't really a talent, he just kicked people around to be fair and not really did anything magnificent. But at his age, that is all you can ask from him, he is still smart and he knows how to position himself very well, I think it was good enough. Real is still severely lacking a striker that can finish, and it was obvious on this game but the good thing is they are still leading the league and that's more than enough for them.

Ancelotti must be proud of the team he built before leaving, add in just a single striker and suddenly you have a team that can dominate the league for years, and he will be leaving them with his own terms without being a bad manager that got fired, that is still a good thing for a manager and he must be happy about what he has achieved there during the time he stayed there.

Athletic Bilbao are in fifth place in the standings and are not an easy club for Barcelona... Bilbao do not play away games badly and I think that today they are able to score a goal... I would bet on corners in this match, because both teams need to gain points... I don't exclude that a draw can happen...
