Atletico once again playes like shit. The club was performing so garbage against la palmas. It seems a bit strange to see the odds given by the bookies. I meant what manda was said was actually true. Sometimes the big odds for a big club against a middle tier club like la palmas is quite strange.

Im not being so negative but it seems like give us a signal to bet on the middle tier club instead of big club. Atletico madrid is performing so garbage. one goal from morata still means nothing as the club was losing three points.

Having morata and griezmann didn't guarantee atletico madrid to perform well this season. Real madrid and girona are slowly but surely making the gao even bigger to the barcelona and atletico madrid.

It's unbelivable thing to see how girona is always following real madrid at the second place. It seems girona is one of the strong contender for the la liga title this season.

Several years ago, Las Palmas always lost big when facing Atletico Madrid, but when they were finally promoted to Laliga, now they seem different and have developed into a better club. Even Atletico Madrid had a little difficulty in controlling this match. Competing at the Gran Canaria Stadium, which is home to Las Palmas, seems be a nightmare for Atletico Madrid. Because this defeat means this club is giving Barcelona the opportunity to overtake them in the standings. But the problem is that the opponent Barcelona will face today is Real Sociedad who will even be the host. I think this will be difficult. And at the end of last season, Barcelona even suffered defeat in front of their own supporters at Camp Nou by Real Sociedad. I think if Barcelona wins this match it will be quite satisfying revenge. Because last season Barcelona was humiliated and maybe Barcelona can do the same thing this time against Real Sociedad.

Atletico Madrid remained 3rd on La Liga table after failing to win Las Palmas. Diego Simeone is really disappointed at this moment; no one expected such an unsettling setback. Atletico Madrid's performance against Las Palmas was unforeseen because the home team declined to waste any opportunities, instead pressing Los Colchoneros until they netted the first goal in the second half. The second half was also dominated by Las Palmas, and the players were serious throughout, playing as if their lives depended on this match. Francesco Javier Garca Pamienta's men delivered an outstanding performance.

Mbappe can help Real Madrid more in marketing than Osimhen so they are keen on Mbappe, not Osimhen. Osimhen in quality is still a little bit lower than Mbappe and it is another reason Real Madrid will prioritize Mbappe for a big transfer. With Vinicius, Rodrygo, Mbappe, Real Madrid will no longer need a striker like Osimhen because I am so sure if they have Mbappe, they will use him as a striker.

Osimhen is not a player who will accept to play a role as a substitution for Mbappe in Real Madrid. He is capable to play as a main strike at many big clubs in Europe. Osimhen will only have chance to join Real Madrid if at the end, Mbappe will not come to Bernabeu that I don't think will happen.

Mbappe is a very quality player considering he is still very young and also participated in the world cup at a very young age and has personally achieved a lot to his name as an individual is enough marketing value for him and Madrid and he is very creative on the pitch.

All these put together has put mbappe ahead to staying outstanding, it doesn't bring the fact that osimhen is any less, because osimhen has also done so well for himself and is a very creative striker on the pitch aswell, he has got enough of good quality, he has personally helped Napoli so far just like mbappe has done to PSG so I wouldn't support a comparison between them both because it doesn't really look feasible as they have only but slight difference and the reason I think Real Madrid will most likely choose mbappe is because their interest in him has been long before a consideration on osimhen was mad.

Right right now the only thing that makes sense is Mbappé to be honest. Maybe Real Madrid is just not 100% invested in bringing in Mbappé because they know that there have been a lot of drama around him. But still, it does make sense to bring in Mbappé. He can definitely help Real Madrid a lot. And if Mbappé actually comes to Real Madrid, all the other teams will need to watch out. All the teams, not only in the La Liga but also in the Champions League competition as well.

They have no problem with other teams, Real Madrid is the only team that can defeat Girona.

I agree with you that the Girona side have improved and they're not in any mood to taste a defeat again, they just need to get a win in this encounter against Osasuna, at least that would mount a lot of pressure on Madrid which are topping the league at the moment.
That loose to Madrid really kept Girona where they are now, only if they hard gotten a draw or even won that game I believe by now Madrid would have been behind Girona. But today's game is going to be another opportunity to close that gap between them and Madrid and I see Girona scaling through in that encounter.

Football is not like mathematics and Girona will have to play best to win against Osasuna. Even big clubs can not assume that they will automatically win matches against weaker opponents. Girona surley are far away from a position of big club so that they can not begin any match with such arrogant attitude against their opponent.

In latest seasons, there are some under dogs made big surprises and achievements in La Liga like Real Betis, Real Sociedad and I am thinking that will Girona be a new under dog in this season?

They are playing well and currently have good total points that give them a top ranking but the season is long and with limited player resource in Girona, it's unrealistic to think they will be able to win La Liga. A more realistic target for Girona is maintaining their good performance and aiming at a position in top four or top six of La Liga. Even top six in La Liga is not what they expected when the season began two months ago.

Diego Simeone have a challenge tonight against Las Palmas which I think won't be any problem, with the champions league returning leg by the corner I can't imagine Atletico Madrid flopping around like other teams do.
Las Palmas don't have what it takes to break the defense of the home side and I think is going to be a game ATM need to get close to Real Madrid and Barcelona, with their outstanding match on the way, I feel they (ATM) have more advantage in topping the league. I just hope they continue with their wonderful performance and injury free.

This should not be a difficult match for them to win, but they should not underestimate their opponent either. Las Palmas will be playing at their home ground, as the host they will not want the visitors to win.
On the other hand Atletico Madrid are in a very good situation now, in La Liga they have recorded 5 consecutive wins. That is a very good capital for them to then continue their positive trend in La Liga.

Well, it was a matter of time before we had a result like this from Atletico Madrid. this was really unexpected. The way they have been playing in this season so far, I thought they would be able to win this match easily. I understand what you mean, the odds for Atletico Madrid winning seem to be a trap for many people to bet on them and in the end they lose.
I don't think so, Atletico Madrid is indeed very strong this season and previously they were favorites but not completely because Las Palmas also had an impressive performance this season so I think Atletico Madrid's defeat 2-1 was not a big surprise.
Atletico Madrid is a strong team but they are inconsistent, the same as the previous season.

I see the chances of both are still equal. But it is true as you said that head to head is no longer accurate to compare Girona this season and last season. I think Girona will get the win here. They have become a new force in the Spanish League and that could be a strong enough foundation for them to bring in potential stars in the future. The Spanish league is exciting because now it no longer just belongs to Madrid, Barca and Atletico.

That odd was huge. During the early hours of that game I knew Atletico Madrid won't be able to get three points against Las Pamas.
They started poorly, couldn't keep possession of the game and maintain control. I also saw a shaky defense. Las Pamas attacked very well but couldn't score during the first half of the game. They have a right fullback who is great and sends nimce pull outs into the penalty box.

They face Celtic next ahead and they'll be at home.
Alvaro Morata has extended his number of goals to seven this season now matching up with Antonio Griezmann. I love his positioning and timing for that pass and goalll! Great finishing!

relying on H2H statistical data at the moment doesn't seem very accurate because Girona has performed much better since the start of the season, so far Girona has got 9W 1D 1L from 11 matches in my opinion that is a good result obtained by Girona this season I hope Girona can continue to appear consistently so that remain in the top 3 and compete with other elite clubs.

Even so, we shouldn't be too happy at first because this is only the beginning of the season. We don't know whether Girona will be able to maintain its strength until at least the middle of the season. Girona has just faced the elite club Real Madrid and Girona suffered a defeat. Girona not yet faced other elite clubs that are usually present in the top 5 so we can't confirm whether Girona is really strong this season.

I guess Barcelona will secure victory from this game no matter what Real sociedad are going to use to fight them in their home because, some of their players that have been experiencing injuries are going to join Barcelona to play this game today to ensure they increase their points and strength through out the remaining games. Real sociedad are strong teams that has potential goalkeeper and defenders to trouble Barcelona strikers but there will surely be goals from this game for the both teams but Barcelona will be the one to secure a beautiful victory at the end of the game.

 I believe Barcelona need to use this game to return back to second position or first position for their fans to believe that they will still repeat what happened last season to happen in this season to lift the trophy.

Instead of seeing Bellingham as a lone striker, a system in which he was in the midfield would have made more sense. As a striker, Mbappe can use that area better or a Kane-style striker may be needed there. In my opinion, if Mbappe comes, Ancelotti can turn him into a complete forward.

I remember yesterday discussing this match with other people here and I confidently said there would be no surprises unless an injured Atletico Madrid player could not appear in the match but in fact my prediction was wrong and fortunately I have not had time to bet on this match because there some people doubts say there something strange about the odds given by bookmaker, although I have not seen what the odds are, but I feel hesitant about entering them into the betting slip.

Kylian Mbappe is a better player than Victor Osimhen and he can be utilized to play in either the left flank or in the center striker positions and that's why I think he'll always be preferred by Real Madrid president over Victor Osimhen.
If Kylian Mbappe should finally join Real Madrid, there's no way Vinicius Jnr will drop to the midfield line because he is used to that left wing flank so on many occasions, Mbappe will be played as the main striker while he's been flanked by Vinicius Jnr on the left and Rodrygo on the right. And Jude Bellingham will be playing behind the main striker. It'll be one of the most dangerous attacking lines in football if the France international finally joins Real Madrid.

I was not expecting to see this result for Atlético Madrid in this match because considering the performance we saw from this team in the past, they could have a much better performance in this match and Atlético Madrid is a team they hardly needed this point against Las Palmas.
Now Atlético Madrid stays in the third place of the La Liga table with 25 points and while needs three points to reach Real Madrid in the first place in the league.

All through the game Las Palmas performance great, even from the beginning they dominated the game more against Atlético Madrid, I really dread their performance and I'm not surprised the game ended with a nice score for Las Palmas because they worked for it. I don't expect Atlético Madrid to struggle will Las Palmas because I think Atletico Madrid is a good performing team which they have Been able to achieve a better position in laliga this season. I agree here, Vinicius Junior playing on the left wing is more or less set in stone and I think it would be a waste to let him play anywhere else whereas Mbappe is more flexible. I think Mbappe could pretty much play any position in the attacking line from left to center to right. Bellingham is strongest when he has a center position with a slight tendency backwards because that is when he can also enfold his impressive defensive qualities while also getting involved in the attacks all the time. He is essentially the first defender on the field for Real Madrid and that makes him so valuable. Everyone is counting the goals he scores, but there is so much more to Bellingham and this is why I think he can soon be the most valuable player in the world. If his scoring statistics stay like that, I have no clue how high his market value could go.
