I didn't see any impressive football that Barcelona played in the first half at home, and if they continue this way in the second half, Villa Real might win the match. However, we shouldn't underestimate Barcelona, because they can become deadly in the second half and win all three points.

For someone who rarely watches the La liga, I've watched Barcelona recent games and that of Madrid and truly, Barcelona is currently a mid-tier team. I also agree with you, actually the problem currently being experienced by Barcelona is that Xavi is unable to provide a good strategy for Barcelona, just look at how Leverkusen is currently turning into a great team even though Leverkusen's squad is very low but Alonso is a great coach If he is able to maximize the abilities of the players he trains, Xavi should imitate what Alonso is doing.

Real Madrid have no other choice they have to win to secure their position and they will not give Girona a chance to go further, last season Real Madrid had missed the title so this season is Real Madrid turn. I didn't watch this match but I saw the statistics and Real Madrid almost made a mistake luckily Real Madrid was able to turn things around in the 65 and 83 minutes. Basically, overall Real Madrid game was less impressive and concede more often, maybe they sometimes underestimate their opponents.

Next month in the first and second weeks Real Madrid will face 2 strong opponents Atletico Madrid on February 5 and Girona on February 11 luckily both of these matches were played at Real Madrid home but even though they are playing at home we know it will not be an easy match especially against Girona who are still fighting to win the title and if Real Madrid loses one of these matches then Girona will be even more confident.
