Next season with the inclusion of Mbappe, Madrid are going to be a more ruthless side. Mbappe would take the number 9 position of course because I don't believe Ancellotti will keep Vini on then bench, he's too good for that. You say that Manchester City cannot do without some key players, but I think that Manchester City is a superb team with an impressive average player quality and to be honest here, everyone who saw the Champions League game knows that when they play these two legs a hundred times, Manchester City is going to win it 75% of the time. There have been players that flopped at real Madrid. There have also been coaches that flopped at Real Madrid. I can go on and list them. Players and coaches can go to Madrid and fail. I think now you're overrating it.

I don't think Barcelona really care about coming second in the La Liga. The moment they realised that they have missed their chances of winning the league, they already gave up. At some point,  the champions league was all the had but PSG was too much for them so they lost out. If you noticed from the time they crashed out of the champions league till date, they have relied on scoring many goals and tonight's focus for Barcelona will be mainly to score as many goals as possible. Yeah I agree with you that Barcelona will definitely take over 2nd place Barcelona would be embarrassed if they gave 2nd place to Girona because previously Girona was not an elite team in La Liga, we know Real Sociedad is not a team to be underestimated but Barcelona has 2 advantages to win it. First Barcelona wants to finish in 2nd place this season then Barcelona plays at home today so these 2 reasons should be enough to motivate Barcelona to get 3 points.

On the other hand, Real Sociedad may be targeting the Conference League zone but if they lose this match it's not a big problem because there are still 3 other matches meaning there is still time in other matches.
