Scoring first does not guarantee you will win the game and scoring first gives you more work because you have to protect you goal post and the same time try to score more goals but when they score their first goal they will want to relent and it does not work that way and Barcelona to charge of the game and are dominating but if not for the penalty will they be able to actually score another goal. Barcelona managed to make a comeback in today's match because two goals scored by Lewandowksi made them lead today's match. 3 points are very meaningful in the first match of the season because it will give them more enthusiasm for the next match. Well, it worked out yesterday, but I am not sure that he is a player I would be willing to rely upon for a whole season. Dani Olmo's out of the squad means he is still not in the good form. We know Dani Olmo is a good player and he is young too, which means Dani Olmo can play in Barcelona for years and he can be a good investment for this team considering his age and his situation but still Dani Olmo is not in the good form and other than his own situation it seems Dani Olmo's contract is not registered yet because of the financial situation of Barcelona.

Point of correction, you don't get extra time after 90 minutes of playing a league match rather you get few additional minutes. That being said, Barcelona was able to find protect their lead till final whistle in their first league game of the season which was played at Valencia. It was a difficult game for Hansi Flick's side but the German manager was still able to get a win in his first competitive game for the club.

Talking about Dani Olmo and why he didn't feature in the game, it was simply because he wasn't registered on time as a Barcelona player to play in their first game of the season but he'll surely feature in their next league game as he's expected to be officially registered as a Barcelona player.

We are missing lots of our players. We play without Fermin, Gavi, Olmo, Araujo. But we can still win against Valencia by a narrow score. It's not bad, considering we used many La Masia kids in this game. For me, Raphinha is the MVP in this game. Raphinha was also exceptional. He ran the entire time and gave it his all.
And this is his heatmap, and no doubt Raphinha being highest rated Barca's player.

I feel very happy today I managed to bet on Barcelona winning and to be honest I was nervous because Valencia was the first to score through Hugo Duro but luckily in the second half Lewandowski managed to reply to Valencia's goal and because of this I finally became enthusiastic again and finally Barcelona succeeded. got a penalty kick opportunity because of a mistake made by a Valencia player and fortunately Lewandowski was able to successfully execute the penalty kick and resulted in a goal for Barcelona and in the end Barcelona managed to win the match.
