Again and again, Madrid lost their momentum as today's match saw them pick up just 1 point with some drama in the match.

It's a bit worse than expected especially since it's the 3rd consecutive week of losing momentum and failing to pick up full points in any of their La Liga matches.

The start of the match for Madrid was actually quite good especially when Mbappe managed to return to score the opening score but disaster came when Jude got a red card which made Madrid have to limp because the midfield and play maker for their attack was a little lost which made the situation change after the red card occurred.

Osasuna also got a goal back which made the situation worse and they only got 1 point back in this match.
Of course, this is a good momentum for Barcelona to overtake two Madrid clubs at once. They will face Rayo this week although Rayo is one of the dark horse clubs now but of course their confidence and probability for 3 points is still very much felt for now and when Barcelona managed to get their full points then automatically the top of the table will be successfully secured.

These are my predictions for the matches to be played this Saturday in matchday 24 of LaLiga in Spain:


Villarreal vs Valencia: In this match, I see Villarreal as solid, therefore, Villarreal Wins.

Osasuna vs Real Madrid: I think tomorrow will be a confusing day, so I predict a Draw.

Atletico Madrid vs Celta de Vigo: Another Draw, possibly 0-0.

Leganes vs Alaves: Interesting match where I lean towards Alaves Winning.

I had a feeling yesterday when I made my prediction that today would be an unusual day in the league. Although I predicted 2 of the four draws, I was really surprised that there ended up being 4 draws in total. I didn't see that coming at all, and I don't think anyone did. This just goes to show how unpredictable football and sports betting can be. Tomorrow is another day, and I hope your bets are well-placed.

Atl. Madrid has wasted a great opportunity to play with passion, how they did something that I think should not have happened the match has only been going on for 7 minutes and Rivas has been sent off the field this is very detrimental to Atl. Madrid especially they are playing as the host they should have wisely taken advantage of the draw that Real Madrid just got, currently Vigo is dominating the match but has not been able to penetrate Atl. Madrid's defense because the defense they formed is quite tight and I think Atl. Madrid still has a chance to win considering the journey of the match like this has happened before and they managed to win with a score of 1-0 and I think this will happen again.

Athletico Madrid and at this point the game is not longer in there favour so there is a little lagging and even when they played against Real Madrid and they are gradually playing another draw game and they will need ti just stop drawing but it is better than losing and Rivas is not given athletico Madrid any chance to win but they will eventually the draw Madrid and vigo does not look strong amd they are dominating athletico Madrid and that is football will surprise you and bettors are not really enjoying the game and they need to see if they will be able to actually cover up but there is no way out that I can see till the game will end and am sure it will end 1:0 for sure.

Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid sadly got a draw with similar scoreline, both conceded a penalty and got a red card.

Barcelona has a chance of topping the league again  with goal difference, if they get a win against Vallecano on Monday and that's more likely expect they give a poor performance as the likes of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid did today.

That literally makes something interesting to the league standings because a few days ago these two were the topper of the league standings, but due to a draw both have lost points, and now it's Barcelona's turn. If Barcelona were to succeed in business and get the victory. I mean, like, if they gets there 3 points, then it's is pretty obvious that they will hold the 1st place of the league standings, although Barcelona and Real Madrid both will have the same points, but due to goal difference rules, Barcelona will be become the league leader.

But anyway, now it depends on Barcelona that how they react to it. I mean, if they really get the 3 points or not against the Rayo Vallecano. If they fail to win, then it will be the same as the previous standing, and if they succeed and win, then Barcelona will be in first place on the league table.

Literally I expect this from Barcelona on Monday. The game is actually fixed for Monday  and their opponent isn't one I'm expecting to win them, it's one which I know would not be able to really stand against Barcelona especially as Barcelona has got the home advantage in this particular game. So Barcelona getting to the top of the table is a good thing but it will be with w very slim point difference and they should actually try to maintain it and not just relax on it because definitely they may be displaced if they are reluctant.

What a bizarre day for La Liga. Both Madrid teams bottling their opportunities to seize leadership of the league? You cannot write drama this kind.

A bad day for the city of Madrid, a good day for the city of Barcelona. Both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have drawn their last two games. For Barcelona, who are on a 3-match winning streak, this is a great opportunity. They have a chance to become leaders again. All they have to do is beat Rayo Vallecano.
Actually, I remember this kind of close race very clearly. All the teams were offering each other the championship. Every week there was a different leader. It wasn't so long ago. That's what I like about La Liga, the excitement is always there.

It's a weird back and forth for all those great teams and I didn't think that Barcelona would be the one to come out on top anytime soon. They have been so unpredictable that I thought a longer streak is not too likely, but as it seems now they have gotten everything under control and now have the big chance to take back the lead in the standings in La Liga. Good news for them. Champions League is going well, a win would give them the first position in the league and Copa del Rey is looking ok as they have of course the much harder opponent than Real Madrid. Those two games against Atletico Madrid will be some nice drama for the fans!

Seriously, did La Liga teams plan this for this week? if you observe very well all the games played today by the various teams, it all played out to be draws. Four different games, it's as if they all planned it. After Leganes Vs Alavas play a 3- 3 draw, and Osasuna held Real Madrid to a draw too later on. I said to myself, since it has happened today like this. Coincidentally, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal both played out a one all goals. Lol

I am not surprised if Girona experiences a decline this season because a club like Girona will not be able to survive long to compete with La Liga clubs especially in the top 5 standings, especially Girona has sold its best players so its performance has decreased even though it played in the UCL this season which should have kept its best players so that it could maintain its good performance but the rice has become porridge and now Girona has to suffer the consequences and it even did not qualify for the next round in the UCL.

Yes, and at least, some of their core players left Girona, even their team captain, Alex Garcia. And their mainstay CF, Artem Dovbyk who decided to move to Roma. and some other players. With limited funds and mediocre players, it is now quite difficult for Girona to be like before. And they are now a club in the middle level, but at least they have felt the euphoria of UCL, even though they have to fall.

You can't be so confident about what the outcome of Barcelona's match against Rayo Vallecano will be on Monday. Perhaps, we all saw how all the matches in the la liga ended in draw today so who knows if Barcelona's game against Rayo Vallecano will turn out to be the worst of it if Barcelona loses. Rayo Vallecano played draw against the two Madrid teams when they met despite that Barcelona won them in their first meeting this season but seeing how resilient Rayo Vallecano has become after they lost against Atletico Bilbao on 1st of December, 2024 and ever since then till now, they haven't lost any of their La Liga match and it's something that should raise concern about their meeting with Barcelona on Monday. However, since Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid drew their respective games today, it will be an awakener for Barcelona to take heed of this advantage and return back to the top of the table once again if only they can win Rayo Vallecano.

What’s happening in LaLiga lately and much people are confused is only the results of matches accumulating each week, injuries, and other factors that can lead any strong team to lose points. One more important factor in my opinion is that LaLiga still has a long ride with the remaining fixtures. Coaches are mainly focused in what matters now, Champions League or European league.

Personally, I have mentioned this same case and scenario for Real Madrid before it happened. I predicted that Real Madrid before playing against Manchester City, in both cases they would lose something between UCL qualification, or they will use their players’s last power and strength on that first leg match, then will neglect their LaLiga match, automatically leading for a drop in points and giving a chance for Barcelona who are in a second golden chance to share the top spot of standings with better chances for their players not playing to qualify in UCL as they were already up to next round due the good results in their standings.

In conclusion, we really cannot predict anything yet, for those going to lead the standings, have better chances for LaLiga trophy or even champions league.
