You're right, Atletico Madrid are very difficult to rely on against teams below them in quality, but when faced with big teams like Barcelona or Real Madrid, Simeone and his squad automatically become more confident. The problem is when the match goes to a penalty shootout, the odds become 50:50, depending on the penalty taker and the goalkeeper. If it's Jan Oblak there might still be hope for victory.

Well that their nature of not been reliable when playing with a small team doesn't make any sense, they are suppose to beat the hell out of any team that is below them in terms of performance and I don't really see Real sociedad as a team that is below Atletico Madrid that much because they can be very strong just that they are having a bad season. Yeah football is a game of uncertainty, but some games seem to be too obvious to predict the winner, like Atletico Madrid actually was the favorite for that game no doubt but they chose to bottle it, so there's nothing impressive about them on that final, to me the only impressive team was Real Sociedad and they won the trophy, I can never appreciate failure, they were absolute mess on that game, I just hope they don't go with same performance against angry Arsenal, like they are definitely gonna pack the goals on basket trust me.

The game against Arsenal will be taken seriously. As much as I'm supporting Arsenal, I don't think they'll be  able to win with these recent games. They better up their level.
As for Atletico Madrid,  this is the time to win the league,  Champions league forgive me. There'll bee no excuses 9f having Cristiano Ronaldo so it is best they make every second and minutes count. They really should have let Barcelona make it to the finals if they had no chance of bottling it.

After their performance in the champions league a lot of people not just gamblers alone believe that Atletico Madrid should be able to win the match or at least win the trophy if they are not able to win at regular time they should win in penalties.
