How likely is it that Barcelona will win this match, but the opposing team is currently performing well, so today will be a tough month. I often watch Madrid win or lose. But the current squad really needs to be overhauled. They're not like football players who are hungry for victory and lack passion. So next season, Madrid really needs a major overhaul of the Madrid squad. I also miss seeing Madrid like they used to be when they played they would always win by a big scoreline, 4:0, 5:1, 6:0. It wasn't just against Alaves we understand that against Alaves they lacked motivation because they had no hope of catching Barcelona. But before especially this season, their play was truly poor, lacking fighting spirit, hard work and not playing as a team.

I was very bold with my prediction yesterday, because i know Real Madrid will use that game to make real Madrid fans feel alright despite they were locked out from the champion league but they want to maintain this second position in the laLiga league till the end of the tournament.

I guess I talked about Real Madrid defenders which is what is affecting Real Madrid not to top laLiga league table this season, because many clubs have taken advantage of their weak to drop their points to allowed Barcelona to used long gap to top them.

It has been a while watching the spanish league. Elche vs Atletico Madrid. So many things to watch out while the game is on. Red card against Atletico Madrid, penalty shoot  out to Elche. Elche is a team fighting against relegation but the level of game play i see in this game against Atletico Madrid, a champions league semi finalist. It looks obvious Elche will win Atletico Madrid, they have the ball and they keep pressing at home.

Atletico Madrid under Diego Simeone has been a nightmare for Barcelona this season and someone is trying to judge them by the league games. I can say that the team is trying to be more strategic with their games knowing fully well they don't have equal human resources like the Barcelona and Real Madrid. Champions league football is the apex of all football competitions in Europe and if the can proceed to the final and probably win it, then they can be rated far above Barcelona. They are comfortable with the 4th position knowing that they can't make it to the top anymore. So the best thing to do is to focus more on champions League now and see if they can beat PSG in the champions League final and that will be a good achievement for the season.

They shouldn't even consider fourth place that bad, given that they're up against giants whose turnover is much higher than theirs. So, in my opinion, right now they need to focus on consolidating this position so they can make some money. A win against PSG will be very difficult, given that they focus more on the opposition's play, while PSG rely on ball possession and coordination! We'll see.

Barcelona are playing at home and they are the favorites to achieve the three point, since Barcelona start to play in the camp nou is only one time they have lost at home against Athletico Madrid in the Champions League, so in the league they have not lost any game at home. And today match they need to win and continue topping the league with 9 point in the table, because if they mistakenly lose tonight that will give real madrid more hope and continue cashing the league title. What should we expect from the bookies if not to give Barcelona such low odd because they know that Barcelona will win the match by many goals. Real Madrid won their match against Deportivo Alaves yesterday and the gap was reduced to 6 points, but Barcelona will be looking forward to win Celta Vigo so that they can come back to 9 points lead at the top of the La Liga table. That notwithstanding, they must be very careful with Celta Vigo because i saw how they gave Real Madrid a hard match when they met earlier last month and since Celta Vigo is looking forward to qualifying for either the Europa League or the conference league, they might prove stubborn in this match in order to increase their chances of qualifying.

We've noticed Atletico Madrid consistently losing their recent league matches. I think this is because they no longer take the league very seriously. However, conceding two goals to a team so close to the relegation zone is quite unexpected.

Of course, the match isn't over yet, but judging by their performance so far, Atletico hasn't been particularly good. Elche will likely find some relief from this match. Every point is crucial for them now, and it looks like they'll secure three points

Finally, Real Madrid has recorded a win just almost one full month of not recording any win. The last time Real Madrid won a match was on 22nd March against bitter rivals Atletico Madrid 3 - 2 and since then, Real Madrid hasn't recorded any win both in the league and Champions League after playing 4 straight matches. Lost to Mallorca, lost to Bayern Munich in the first leg of the champions league, drew to Giron and again lost to Bayern Munich in the second leg. Today they finally won after 4 matches. 6 more matches for them to play after playing today and Barcelona has 7 more matches to play with 6 points ahead, for me it's all over for them, let them just play and win knowing that their season is already over.

Real Madrid football team played very well against Deportivo Alavés football team and that team did 2 goals in this match and opponent team did 1 goal in this match abd their stats was low as comparison to opponent team. The shots of Real Madrid football team were more in this match and these were 26 in this match And 9 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was great in this match and that was 62 percent in this match. The passes of that team were 607 in this match and pass accuracy of that team was 91 percent in this match. The shots of Deportivo Alavés football team were 15 in this match and 5 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team  was 38 percent in this match and passes of that team were less in this match and that was the reason they lose this match.

But unfortunately they lost the two opportunities to be able to win the champions League and the la Liga but they don't longer have that b privilege to that again, the only place that hope will be coming from is going to be from next season and they need to even need to do.better than what they are doing because how on earth will they be able to even do something tangle and they don't look like who as intention for anything this season.

It was a good strategy to reserve these players but it has not brought the desired result. Elche is currently winning by 3-2 and Atlético Madrid is also one man down due to a red card on Thiago Almada. The red card affected the game but Athletico is doing its best to get at least a point. But it seems it would not happen since time is almost up.

I don't know why they are throwing everything and all concentration has been on the champions league this past few weeks and it might come back to hunt them if they don't win it. It's just midweek and Atletico Madrid are already thinking of what will happen in the champions league that's still a week away, they still have this weekend to play the league match, why not use their main squad to secure 3 points here and maybe over the weekend you rest your players. I don't know if all the coach was thinking was the champions league that made them to lose the Copa Del Rey finals which was a trophy that would have at least boosted the players. They have lost to Elche, they are lucky that real Betis is not serious by now that 8 points gap would have been shortened and their chances of making it to next seasons champions league would have been on the line for them since it's still remaining 6 matches. This whole Real Madrid saga is just driving me nuts, like seeing Real Madrid performing this bad always breaks my heart, like what could be the problem with this team, like all this win or lose actually means nothing as they can never catch up with Barcelona, and that makes it another trophyless season for them, I don't know why I keep believing that if it was still Xabi Alonso this team wouldn't be this awful, if I can still remember during Xabis's time Real Madrid was actually toping the league before his departure, now they are a total mess.

It's hard to expect any upsets in this year's title race. Madrid have been given the chance several times and ended up disappointing themselves, so Barcelona chances of lifting the trophy are very high.
The only thing that's interesting now is the relegation battle, and regarding Barcelona match today, judging by their lineups, it seems Barcelona wants to start the match with a relaxed approach. Trying for a BTTS (both teams to score) seems like a good bet.
