After bitcoin halving in 2020 don't be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ before 2021,this are the reasons why i think its possible

1. The teams are willing to try out new things with the project,many projects that have already achieved what ETH have ends up surrendering but ETH teams are not showing sign of stopping

2. I cant say more about the ETH2.0 upgrade but the POS implementation will make it worthwhile,the reason why i invested in some POS coins is to use the gains to sustain and get many daily needs till the day when holding them will pay off big,the POS will make many investors want to hold ETH for long term ultimately will leads to more adoption

You may be right about your points but I am doubting the amount which is $4k.
Hitting $1k had been like impossible for many and somehow it did reach the number. But 4k? That will be a mess since there are already a lot of ETH out there.
It aint bitcoin with just 21 million of it. Just think about the market cap when it reach a huge number.

ETH at 4000, I wish but with Vitaliks comments the other day, it is not dong anything good for the price. I have talked with some developers about the ETH2.0 upgrade and they are saying it is a big mess. As I said earlier, I hope you are right

Joke aside, many of the ones that don't follow Ethereum news closely know only that Ethereum was scheduled to upgrade and that was delayed and had problems. Such uncertainty clearly does a lot of bad.
Then the (unfortunate imho) choice of BCash for helping Ethereum scale is again a bad advertising step.

Ethereum will need some strong movements in the correct direction, else it may continue dropping.

If ETH is going to reach 4k price then they should start trying things out on their own not trying to use other available cryptocurrency like bitcoincash,its more like a blood stain on a white shirt to me,it might ruin ETH if care is not taken but yet nothing is impossible in crypto world and about the POS idea i think ETH shouldnt exclude the POW it will make sense if its POW/POS because the most profitable coin to mine now is still ETH.

But the upgrade called Constantinople didn't even affect the price. Why do you think final upgrade will skyrocket the price to 4k$ ?

In fact, it will increase the price, but this will be done by speculators in few days before the finish. But not up to 4k; maybe it will do a 20-30% pump.

The achievement of the new ATH might occur on ethereum coins, but $ 4k is a high price with coins that have an unlimited amount of inventory

I know for sure that ETH will try to rise again in the future but I doubt it will reach $4,000 before 2021 since market cap would surpass Bitcoin if that happens. Well I think your point is valid because to start, ETH has giant supports in its back, have a team, and a big community. maybe after or before Bitcoin halving, altcoins will try to bounce back again like ETH for example. When I see price predictions on cryptocurrency am always relaxed, because my experience on this space has thought me that nothing is impossible. At about 2015, it would have been a difficult thing to hear that eth would grow to 300$ when it was trading for less than $20. Even the value of Bitcoin was trading less than a thousand dollar, but now we all know how the value was able to skyrocket in 2017. Let's be positive and see how the prices unfolds

Can ETH loses value back to 50$ per one? i dont think so unless bear market attacks for long time again and bitcoin loses value back to 4000$ which i think its never going to happen again,crypto is getting more popular and if coins like litecoin can still have good value today them ETH still have a better chance because ETH use case is better than LTC by far

Ethereum at the moment at facing circumstances to its price value in the market. We don't know how long it will take, but probably if they something plan in the future that will boost their coins that's possible to be happen to hit that amount of price, just all I know for now is that it is better to buy em then hold as long as we can while the price was in cheap level.

The 4000$ price for ETH will be achievable only if bitcoin can surge over 50,000$ maybe after halving or not but to me ETH has proven to be a very strong altcoin,with lack of any new development so far and few failed news or upgrades ETH is still standing strong,i have a feeling that what is coming for ETH in few years more will be big

Your opinion I think is reasonable and in the year 2020 Ethereum price will experience an excellent improvement. If looking from the condition of Ethereum now that the price increase is very slow. But developers are still running and even more IEO projects use the Ethereum platform. I am sure if Ethereum is still in trust by many investors and this coin does not close the possibility that the year 2020 will rise very high.

It's possible since eth is a working in progress. It also may not reach that $4k because of it's volatility. One thing I'm sure is that eth is a coin worthy of holding long term. We also seen it rise during that 2017 surge of cryptocurrency but unfortunately it drops again to below $1k.

I've been reading a lot of post about Ethereum, that it is weakening, and having issues on their scalability, but there's also a lot of posts that supporting Ethereum is growing developing and will have another all-time high.
I prefer to support Ethereum because we have concrete proof, that Ethereum is still one of the best coins to invest

After bitcoin i will choose ETH over all other altcoins because i believe its the best coin for long term hold,just because its facing some challenges for now many investors sold theirs for bitcoin and some strong holders still holds,even if ETH goes down to 50dollars i will keep buying,vitalik is a good dev and the team will do their best for a better ETH future,ETH has my 100% full support,im not in crypto for short time profit and ETH is one of the strong altcoins i belief in.
