The Jets took a beating last night damn, i'm sure even NE fans felt sorry for them at one point, it was not fair. I still have reservations about Patriots passing game [1] but their defense, as mention before in this thread, is legit...they are literally all over the place. Pats defense with a new nickname as per Kyle Van Noy - the Boogeyman. [1] Patriots getting Sanu from Falcons for a second-round pick - sourceThis was an absolute ass kicking. Patriots defense is on a tear like never seen before. They can literally punt on every first down and still win these games. I am not a patriots fan but that's off to this team, with brady at the helmet and this defense, I see SB#7 coming this year. They are definately the team to beat....again

[1] Patriots getting Sanu from Falcons for a second-round pick - sourceI am a NE fan and yesterday was a difficult game to watch, Darnold had no chance at all to throw the ball, you could see he was afraid of being hit by the way he threw the ball, he was dubitative and could not plant his feet and accept the punishment, and his comments about seeing ghosts were really unfortunate but it was the truth, while I really believe there is not other way to learn the QB position except by playing, at some point Adam Gase should have pulled Darnold out of the game since a defeat like this can mark Darnold for the rest of his career. Unrelated, but for the first time I have a winning record on the weekly poll, I am 4-3.

New Poll Up:
10/27 1:00 PM [261] PHILADELPHIA [262] BUFFALO
None of the games are very close this week, with Eagles currently +2 in this matchup. I'm gonna have to root for them even though they got smashed last week, basically Wentz caused me to lose my fantasy game (now at 4-3). Not many other years in which Buffalo would be on the favored side of this matchup.
On second thought, hmm... I really want to win my fantasy game! I have NYG Daniel Jones as my backup QB. He put up some good numbers last week and is projected to get more points this week than Wentz... Perhaps I'll put him in as they are playing Detroit... Which one of the two would you guys play?

^^-- tough choice. i'd grab kousins off the wire if you can. I'm going to play him over brady this week, brady cost me the week as well. sad when they put up 30 points and the QB can't break 13 points. lol
My money is on Buffalo covering it looks like the eagles are self destructing. maybe is deshawn comes back they can make a turn around. They just looked horrible and the cowgirls are not a good team.

A vote for Philadelphia!
I'm on a two-game losing streak for the weekly poll, so are the Eagles. If they lose this game their playoff aspirations are gone, looking at how many good teams are in the NFC this year, wildcards will be at 10 maybe 11 wins. Yeah, good luck with that. It's a do or die situation for them.

Tough call, buffalo has a decent d. Since Detroit can score in bunches it might be a high scoring game. I'd play jones this week. As far as the eagles, their secondary is terrible. Between the giants and eagles I dont know which defense is worse. Cant wait to see them play each other. Game should be 55-49 lol. My bet this week is on the Bill's over the eagles

I like the Vikings tonight however the ML is too short for me, I'm just not sure if they can cover the spread, what do you guys think on tonight's game?
The only bet I got going right now is a small parlay on the Colts ML, Raiders +6.5 and Eagles +2.0 for a $10 outlay and return $51.95
I will look to play another parlay in the next couple of days.

I like the Vikings and the spread tonight. They beat detroit 42-30, they gonna wreck the skins tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if dalvin cook goes for 150 years on the ground and Diggs gets 150 receiving yards. Vikings 34 - redskins 13. Vicks win by 21 and cover. Eagles are tough to bet on right now, their defense is terrible. GL on your parlay I do hope ya win!

I voted for Bills to win this game, despite their QB the defence can keep them close in most games, but the main reason is the divisiveness in the Eagles locker room which is difficult to ignore, first an anonymous player complaining about some issues and then Lane Johnson claiming there were players late to practice and meetings, and that is only what we know, there could be even more issues hidden from us, and in my opinion a team can only be successful if everyone in the organization is trying to achieve the same, something I do not see in the Eagles.

I gotta be honest with you, I'm starting to feel the same way... Eagles seem to be falling apart, if ever so slowly. Turns out this weeks fantasy game should be a pushover for me, so I'm going to experiment by benching Wentz and putting in Daniel Jones. The line is -6 in favor of Detroit against the Giants, but I'm going with Jones anyway. Interesting that the #2 public bet is for the Browns (83%) to cover the spread against the Pats (its currently +13). I just don't see that happening.

The Pats are a funny team as in they go against all logic and statistics at least once a year and they haven't done it yet this year so be careful. Yeah I learned my lesson the last time taking the NYG to cover the spread which was looking good but when the Pats got their offence going they easily covered the spread and I lost my bet so since then I haven't gone against them lol. I prefer to just stay out and watch Brady put on a show each week. I went with another small parlay with the one I already have on, this one I got Titans ML, Falcons to cover the spread, Broncos to cover and Raiders to cover. Good luck to everyone who is having a bet.

What do you guys think about O/U line of Packers @ Chiefs? It is set at 47.5, Packers have their offense going and they are putting up crazy numbers as of late. Chiefs even with Mahomes out can easily get you 25pts+ on any given day. I think there will be more than 50 in this one. Thoughts?
The other game that i'm still undecided on is the Dolphins +14 @ Steelers. Miami hasn't looked as bad since Fitzpatrick came in for Rosen. I think they might cover the spread.

Actually it looks like Mahomes is out: https://packerswire.usatoday.com/2019/10/25/chiefs-rule-out-6-starters-for-sunday-night-vs-packers/Davante Adams won't be playing for Green Bay either, so I dunno, 47.5 sounds pretty fair.

Packers are avg 26.3 ppg, 33 ppg (last 3 games), 42 ppg (last 1) Chiefs are avg 28.9 ppg, 22.3 ppg (last 3 games), 30 ppg (last 1) source: https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/points-per-gameI guess numbers are in my favor, i really like how balanced the new GB offense is under LaFleur, it's not just A.Rodgers and D.Adams. As for the Dolphins covering their spread, i think i'm out of this one, have a bad feeling Conner and JuJu will both explode and have monster games.
adding my picks and good luck everyone!

I didn't get to see the Eagles/Bills game, I'm very happy that the Eagles won but didn't expect it to be a blow out. I'm still alive in my first parlay, just need the Raiders to cover the +6.5 spread. In my other parlay I put on yesterday, I'm out as the Falcons let me down by not covering the +5.5. I'm liking the Packers tonight to cover the -4.5

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aP2SwXULebg&feature=oneboxSerious sustained winds that game kept the ball on the ground or short and Sanders took full advantage with unbelievable screens all day.

The handicap for the Chiefs match is quite tempting but with their poor results at home and Mahomes currently injured i'd rather go for the Packers to win and get the extra minus points. The only stat that makes me nervous on taking the Packers is that they haven't won in Kansas and in all of their head to head the away team always loses. This would be great week for me if they win and cover.

adding my picks and good luck everyone! Looks like you went 3 for 5, not too shabby. Congrats on getting that Over. I was listening to the game on the radio (no TV here) -- it looked like maybe it was going to reach 47.5, but then you had no problem crossing that due to a high scoring 4th quarter. Even though the Giants lost, my QB still put up twice as many fantasy points as Wentz (whose team won), so it was a successful experiment. I ended up absolutely smearing my opponent, almost doubled his score. Also thanks to Aaron Jones (2 TDs) and Mike Evans (2 TDs).

<snip> 4 of 6 if we count weekly poll picks, i think i was the only who backed up the Eagles here (3/3 split votes) to win despite all the problems they have atm. I'm officially done with spread lines and AH, from now one it's either ML or anything related to O/U. Sick of losing bets by a couple of points late in games. Saquon scored with a min left just to screw my parlay, i'm not mad at him, Lions last two possessions were absolute shit though...Pfff

I'm kicking Gore to the wire this week so I don't ever do that again!
