Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?

most of ico tokens get dumped after listed on the market. some of them holding their bounty tokens, and let the investors trade his tokens first. then it dumped by investors who sell all of their bonus tokens from presale. so, the price won't be the same as the ICO price. i must agree that bounty hunters are being used to promote their project for free, even if their projects were scam. also they want to boost their social media, youtube and reddit followers for free.

Why do you believe in such calculations made via spreadsheet even its high or low value, you can only know its price when the tokens started to trade on market. Yes they will be trying to trade it near its crowdfunding price. Mostly the price dump so you wouldn't not expect the same profit from a campaign that has computed based on the spreadsheet.

I agree. But we already knew that the moment we joined the project. Well, that's just how thing works here in crypto world. There is no guarantee that all our investments which include our time and effort will be paid off.

Yes, on the value sheet we see that it is worthwhile and good value, but when checking on the exchanges it is disappointing in its price, it's terrible for the workers. Boutny hunt us, choose the campaign better and more carefully so that it brings real value to us because at present many projects and are known a lot but not all are good about the battle bounty translation.

Welp, it's not a new thing as a bounty hunter. I've been bounty hunting for a long time now and most of the time it is really like that. And there are also times that if you got left out in the dumping process, the tokens get lower and lower until it's not profitable anymore, other projects just don't give you a chance to earn money like the token is totally low.

Affirmative! Bounty hunter should limit their greed and manage their expectations better. In most cases, developers can only give what they have. Irrespective of what is written on the spreadsheet. In most cases, i actually go after bounties with reasonable reward allocation and reputable team because money is involved

Your opinion is only 50% correct. We can't really expect that the tokens of any project will be highly valuable, but there are also many good projects, gaining lots of valuable bonuses. Undeniably, we only know if the reward is worth receiving the money and the token is still not available.

This got me laughing and I have over heard people call it AUDIO MONEY which implies that they only hear of the money and equally se without touching it. It isn't new anymore as some BM do that and when you ask why late bounty distribution or why no distribution, they would tell you either we are marking or we are waiting for another Exchange...despite the odds bounty still pay and has changed many people's life out there.

Bounty campaign reward have drop after many ICO failed reach target with sold out and hard cap, without get success with ICO project not available become success with bounty campaign, but many bounty campaign running not have coherence with ICO, when success ICO but bounty campaign distribution delay waiting price down.

You right. Bounty hunters are the most vulnerable participants. Because if something goes wrong with the project, it is the bounty hunters who suffer. You just have to understand it and take it for granted.

Agree, this happened because of differences in prices in the market with expected prices at the start of the ICO. One reason is that prices have fallen on the market so that the value calculation has changed, other than that tokens for bounty hunters have not been paid by the developer team.

That is a lot of cases that have happened even many also just wasting time for months without receiving a reward from what he had done. Obviously the developer needs a large-scale promotion to support his project to get large funds from investors and therefore bounty participants should get a decent payment or reward, because bounty participants also help the project to get more investors with the promotion itself.

Indeed, that was the most cases. But, we don't even know if the project will have a value as what the coin/token should have. We're expecting for a  decent payment when it ends, only to find out that it's still locked, and it needs a few months to fully unlocked or worst thing is if the coin/token is worthless. So eventhough the team gave us what they called "a decent payment", it doesn't mean that it will be worth our time and effort.

You are very right OP, at least the bounty i work last year some months say that i have over 2000 USD but the coins i get last month are not even on any exchange yet, i wishaybe to get paid in fiat for most of bounties or on top coins to be sure not waste time and work for dust.

If they pay via fiat or top currencies, the value of the reward will be reduced and they don't have enough money to pay via fiat or top currencies.
I have participated in 4 bonus programs in the past and all of them are invalid

Next time when you see huge rewards, just skip to another bounty. Here in crypto you need to know how to protect yourself, nobody can help you once you make a mistake, its too late. You need to educate yourself to not make one at all.
Now many bounties don't have a proper manager, in many cases its a newcomer with a brand new account. Site can be low quality, some of the team members are not fluent English speakers. Generally we see many bounties with many flaws, when you see something like that run away!

What work exactly do all these bounty hunters really do anyway? Some are really good with translation and stickers and artwork, and this is useful for the whole community. Some create good content and or post around with high quality content that rubs off as good reputation on project.

But in the big majority, most hunters do work ANYONE can do, and in fact because they give such poor quality to the work,,, it gives a negative perception to the project.
