Both gambling and cryptocurrency aren’t expensive toys for rich people, but popular ways to take a rest and gain profit at the same time, and the more convenient casino sites, the more clients it has.
You must change your view on bitcoin because bitcoin will never be an expensive thing to adopt when you are using it for your day-to-day transactions, for example: gambling. I agree bitcoin is expensive but only when you are planning for your investment. You buy and you spend and within that time we assume price fluctuations will not be big then there will be no big expenses incur for you. As simple as using your fiats.

there are many reasons to switch to online gambling, and I think in the nearest future at least 50% of all gambling will be taking place online, while today it's less than 15%.
Interesting data. I wonder what will be happening if more than 50% of gambling will be happening online and that too based on cryptos, I'm sure on that occurrence of such wonderful things, definitely bitcoin prices will be testing million dollar levels. I am pretty sure that gambling industry must be playing a very much vital role in making people adopting cryptos yes especially bitcoins. This must be win-win situation for both bitcoin and gambling industry.

Depends on the country but players shouldn't be paying taxes anyway, it should always be the company.    This is a question in general for every economy, how do you tax a global company which isnt even based in your country and yet its serving your population and making profits.   At present the global companies are managing to dodge any large amount of taxes though most large operations do comply with sales tax or possibly other taxes.   For gambling the law is often a % charge of the yield, gambling can be seen as a fiscal budget support in recessions like alcohol or tobacco as it doesn't decline in the same ways that normal business can but if the gambling is all done abroad I would guess thats seen as a problem.
Maybe for that reason we do see the promotion of Bitcoin in physical casinos because governments want people to be part of a system included in that countrys economy rather then being anonymous online, we know there isnt any simple way to stop people doing as they wish really.

But in real life casino its not happening much, even tried searching for real life casino which accepts bitcoin but didn't found any until now so only bitcoin used in online gambling ir the places were bitcoin gambled were still hiding from the public eyes?!
If you can look back to the some posts in this thread, you will see that there are local casinos that are accepting bitcoin. Yes, for real. You can't gamble directly with bitcoin but you have to buy chips first and what's good with it, is that you can buy bitcoin for it.

Yes its already possible but you would still end up on using dollars or fiat but at least they are showing some adoption.

We might not able to spend directly but its good to look at about their recognition.

Now when an online casino can keep you safe from these problems, why would one go for the land based casino?

Maybe, high-class hookers as in blackjack and hookers?

Well, you can indeed ask why go to a land-based casino if you can just get along with hookers alone, but then I could ask you in turn why go to hookers if you can be as happy with your wife (or even without a wife)? This is the same with online casinos as they are more like your wife if you have one, or whatever. But if you are not quite content or happy with the package that your wife comes with, there are hookers, there are land-based casino as well to make up for the void you may feel
I might say that the example astonished me. Being honest, family has its own place and nothing can really replace it. Believe me I am getting from where you are coming but still, it would be more civilized to not compare your soulmate with casinos and no human is perfect. It is good that we have option of online casinos and can play from home. No need to walk long distances. But I am against risking bitcoin in gambling.

We are already reaching to the point on discussing out about hookers and wife.Well this will vary on a person because we do have
our own insights in life and making up decisions that will either be bad or good for you.Important thing is that you are aware on what are the possible
consequences that would be faced up if you are being busted.

Setting it aside about online and land based ones. Its a matter of self preference on where we do like to play.

I have worked for a few years in a casino and I couldn't help but imagine that people should be able to gamble with bitcoin.

Is it already happening? - I don't mean on the internet

And do you think this will be future of casinos?

I cant imagine BTC coming live in brick & mortar casinos as there are still major restrictions when it comes to crypto. Nations still across the world are not supporting BTC, rather they are not supporting cryptocurrency as it is decentralized. Also, anything digital is prone to hacking and can lead to a big heist. I don't think crypto would ever come in casinos, and throwing that cash on the table is another feeling.

In fact, I didn't mean it as a comparison (as in something being better than something else)

So if that gives you peace of mind, think of it as an analogy. In other words, if you are happy with your wife (and online casinos), go for it and don't look elsewhere (as they say, no accounting for tastes). On the other hand, if wifey (or hubby, for that matter) ain't your thing, and you honestly believe that the only true love you can get is from your dog, then there are hookers. And blackjack. As in land-based casino. This is meant as a reply to a question why one would go to a land-based casino (read, to get the whole package)

Even if there was an opportunity of gambling directly with bitcoin, I would have advised to not go for that. Risking world’s most precious asset in risky game like gambling will eventually become regret. Instead of wasting bitcoin here, it would be much better to forget about bitcoin for few months and then come back. You will be richer than your expectations. Bitcoin holders should recognize worth of their holding.

Are you new to bitcoin? gambling is one of the huge taker of bitcoin with daily usage. I think you're forgetting on what section you're commenting.

There's a lot of gambling topics here related to bitcoin gambling so don't be caught off guard as if it's only a chance to gamble directly with bitcoin.

It is not still happening, I don't know why but for me there is no problem with it even with physical casino's and online casino are still the same for me as long as the physical casino has its own cryptocurrency wallet that can be used to bet with their casino without withdrawing any cash. It is going to be helpful for those who just wanted to use their mobile phones and to those who doesn't want to go outside just to withdraw cash.

I would be happy to agree with you, but millions? Hardly. If instead of 15% of their current share, crypto casinos will have, say, 60%, the extreme maximum for Bitcoin price rising caused by that would be 4 times, or around $35,000 - $40,000 for 1 Bitcoin. But the truth is that Bitcoin is supported not only by crypto gambling, so further Bitcoin adoption by casinos, online and offline ones, can make even lesser impact on the price of Bitcoin.

I understand your point. Bitcoin is the best that can happen to anyone in his whole life. There are many ways to increase the number of bitcoins and gambling should not be considered one of them. But the idea of crypto gambling is attractive in its own way. It is also safe to gamble with bitcoin if the amount is a small one. With putting such limits, bitcoin gamblers can enjoy the game without injuring themselves.

Considering the capital hold with casinos, I dont think that the casinos would move from public ledgers to crypto keeping in mind their proneness to hacking. Crypto being decentralized and anonymous make them not suitable for traditional casinos environment.

For some reason everything won't get moved to the bitcoin usage. Bitcoin is all about technology, but for casino business owners it is a must to attract all levels of people. Upon this it is quite hard to see bitcoin as the only source to spend on casinos offline. Maybe in the online casinos such a scenario can change as most of the people who prefer online casinos have system knowledge.

I have worked for a few years in a casino and I couldn't help but imagine that people should be able to gamble with bitcoin.

Is it already happening? - I don't mean on the internet

And do you think this will be future of casinos?

What makes most of Bitcoin's popularity is that because of gambling. There we can see the usage of Bitcoin and some cryptos as a currency which tends to be like that rather than to consider as an investment. The bad thing is that we can't make use of these when will go into offline casinos. It is quite to see that online casinos are increasing in numbers just because of this.

That's because there is no massive adoption first, but just don't make things complicated, we have our local exchange right, so just convert that to fiat so we can spend it right away. I know everyone of us wants to just use bitcoin so there's no need to convert anymore, but lets give it a time, eventually as the adoption continues we might see bitcoin to be mainstream in the future, for now, let's just enjoy using it to our activities online.

Do you mean traditional casino but adopt Bitcoin??   I think it will be very interesting because each player does not have to bother carrying a suitcase with large amounts of fiat money to traditional casino..  each player will be safe because every transaction they make is only in devices that store other Bitcoin/Crypto wallets such as smartphones, laptops, and watches.  I'm sure the future of traditional & modern casino will adopt digital money and cryptocurrencies.

It's not that we suggest land based casinos to change the way they operate and go online. They are good on their own, but they should definitely consider exchanging Bitcoin for their chips. Gamblers who prefer physical casinos to online ones will hardly change their habits, but a part of them, and this part is growing with time, has BTC in their possession, and they want to have the opportunity of exchanging it for casino chips.

So basically, you are saying that traditional casinos are safer than those using crypto. If I am not wrong, gamblers do get robbed in the traditional casinos to. It is not like these give security guards to all of their customers. Crypto currencies will secure them because they are popular for their security. It is not that easy to hack them as it is to rob a person when he is physically present.

I don't think that the gamblers will carry a suitcase because if in the traditional casino, every rich people will use a check or card to buy the coin in that casino so that it will help them to prevent the thief. But if the casino can transform by using bitcoin for making a bet, I think that would be simple than the check or card, because they don't need to use that thing and they only scan the barcode to convert their coin with the casino coin. Yes, maybe that will happen in the future after the government accepts cryptocurrency.
