Good to know that you guys are listening to community feedback properly. I agree that a 1% flat commission rate would definitely be competitive, but I suggest implementing some kind of VIP tier system in order to make it even more competitive as I suggested earlier.

This would give your exchange an extra bonus point and would definitely draw in more punters. Liquidity is another factor which needs to be addressed to make your exchange more competitive.

The issues of (i) VIP commission rebates and (ii) liquidity are definitely connected. We are working with potential market makers regarding liquidity at launch. And of course, market makers are bringing value to the platform, and therefore look for commission rebates... We are still developing how we work in this area, thanks again for your input.

One point to make - if there are bitcointalk users out there who are interested in market making on exbet.io (in one or more leagues or sports), please get in touch. We can arrange early development access to our market maker API and discuss other ways to ensure mutually beneficial partnership. And, of course, strong liquidity ends up benefiting all users of exbet.io, by making market access more efficient.

You put up some money in a game and other guys take it, of course it doesn't have to be 1 to 1 ratio for your bet, nobody will accept a bet where you put up 1 eth for real Madrid to win against getafe if all they will get is 1 btc back, so you make the odds as well and give yourself lower in that case.

Hence, you basically become the sportsbook for one bet at a time, which is really awesome but how many people are really capable of doing that both in odds ways and also have the wallet for it? I guess we will have to see but the idea itself is amazing, I would totally go check it out when it comes out, don't know when the full release will be but it definitely worth a shot.

Correct, great description of what exbet.io is.

Some additional info - exbet.io will only support Bitcoin deposits at launch, but we plan to add support for ETH and other altcoins soon after.

Also, as you say, you can set whatever odds you want - for example 2.0 or 1.88 or 3.6 or 5.0 or 1.09 or 21.0 etc etc.

That's the great thing about a betting exchange platform - it supports many different kinds of bettors with different size banks, and different goals:

1. Recreational bettor
Just wants to bet small on Soccer matches, for example
With a betting exchange like exbet.io, the recreational bettor gets best prices, and can Cash Out (Lay) his bets when the live result is in his favour.

2. Big bettor
Wants to have bigger bets, but is getting restricted or banned with sportsbooks.
With a betting exchange like exbet.io, the big bettor can bet whatever he likes - there are no limits, just market liquidity.
And with Lay betting, the big bettor can bet *against* something (for example 0-0 correct score) when he has a strong opinion.

Also visited their site and I agree they have these very simple design but it's clean.
Most of bitcoin betting exchange uses milli BTC as it expresses in a thousand decimal in bitcoin to avoid long number line and also for easy calculations. I guess nobody bets a single bitcoin in game, right?

When will it be opened? It says Q4 of 2019 but we are already in it I think (or maybe not, I am not entirely sure how quarterly system works) and I really want to give it a chance at full release. I don't like to use places during their beta stages because I feel like a lab rat trying to figure out what could be wrong and on a place like this I rather not figure out whats wrong.

I want to see people here on their own money and doing stuff with their own money. Looks like everyone is complimenting the website as it is and I feel like there is really nothing more to handle left, if you guys have no more glitches or bugs or anything bad going on, I think you should start considering the full release with actual deposits and withdraws so people could test it.

- Design - yes, we tried to keep it clean and "classic".

- Use milli BTC.. We understand that some will want to bet in micro BTC.. it is always a compromise between the needs of different users. Actually, our minimum bet currently is 0.1 milli BTC.

- FAQ section - Yes! You are 100% right. We plan to have a much more complete FAQ section at launch. We also believe that on-boarding for new users will be important (because betting exchange is a little more complicated) so we are thinking about best way to do that when we go LIVE.
