Buy and large, investors still fall for some scams project before realizes they are on the wrong part. Investor's still invest on daily basis either ICO or IEO depend on the potentials or prospect in the project. Am also an investor who lobe to invest on new projects and, I do due diligence on the project I want to invest into. Research before invest is the only solution to avert be scam by these frivolous projects out there.

You already answered your self about the question above. ICOs are difficult to attract investors because they are afraid of scams and failed projects. We cannot blame them since it was the fact and too many investors experienced big losses. I think we have no choices, only bullrun that can make investors come back. Or there is a certain regulation that can guarantee them to avoid losses.

What difference does it make if a project is successful? IEO or ICO or...? These are just a few of the ways to raise money. Only psychologically, IEO have a major impact, the majority avoid non-IEO sales.

Bullrun will bring back those who are waiting for the best time to earn more than the investors. But I am not against it either. If Bullrun will come, the rest does not matter.

The quality of advertisement is a game changer for most ICO projects. They need to be relevant in the industry to catch the interest of the potential investors. And it is given that it is difficult to find an investor that is willing for a long term business so the marketing really does play a major role to convince them to invest. There is also that reputation  of being a "scam" because  the investors felt disappointed sometimes because of the low return that is caused by the short-lived period of the project.

You know why? It's because people started realising what ICOs truly are - absolutely crap.

Most of the ICO'd projects have absolutely no intrinsic value, and add no substance to what's already out there in the market. They simply regurgitate what has already been done by other projects, in hopes of raising more money for the founders.

In 2017, the markets were less mature and everyone was FOMOing, thus the ICO hype. The hype dying down is absolutely normal. Funding should NOT be that loose.

My friend, you are so right.Many of the new arrivals were tricked by crooks.These people now hate cryptocurrencies because all they see is crime and theft.We can't blame them, but we have to continue to support beautiful projects.New investors gelecek.we just have to wait and always rely on this technology.
