they change everything, now investors are so hesitant whenever there is a new coin that are good but they opted out because they think its a scam, I think we should find a way to lessen or better eliminate them for good.

The investor (professional) goes where they see profit and the opportunity to make money guaranteed. As for the ICO, many have lost money in these companies and are probably afraid to enter them. However, I am sure that investors come, but only to good projects, which are very few and which we may not even know about now. Compared to 2017, there is now stagnation in ICOs, moreover, the market has become larger and competition has become greater, and investors are still mostly afraid to invest in crypto projects.

I don’t understand how an investor can go into such high-risk projects. I think that these were not professional investors. The cryptocurrency market needs legal and financial support!

The answer is simple, because scam and fraud projects were stealing investor's money in the past.
Investors won't come because they dont want to experience the same thing again.
If only our crypto world free from scams, good projects will make investors come and invest into it.

Most investors are now more careful about choosing new projects. This is because the crypto atmosphere lately is very bad, I mean ICOs. There are many reasons for investors not to put their money into projects that lead to scams.
I have put much money in ICO, but 3 times no ROI at all. I won't say the name, but this gives me experience and knowledge that the clarity of the developer team is not enough to prove they are really serious about the project.

Of late, its hard to attract investors because most of these investors have learned their lessons in their cryptocurrency investment endeavor. Now, investors are on the look out for working products, use cases, expertise of team, reputation of advisor etc in order to ascertain the authenticity and potentials of the project before joining.

For now I think there are only 2 big opportunities for crypto investors to invest and make profits. First, I think STO, STO itself is quite trend in the last few months so many people are interested. Then there's IEO, which in this case is quite popular and there are some of the projects that sell quickly even without bounties. ICO still has potential, but only a few are able to penetrate targets. Evidently there are only 45% of the total survey conducted to achieve it.

Crypto currencies have a really bad image at the moment, a lot of scams are around, Bakkt exchange have failed to attract new investors, the whole market in general is not raising, so people do not see the reason in investing right now.

We cannot compare 2017 and 2019 because they are very different. There are many investors way back 2017 because of the hype of ICOs that gives too much ROIs while 2019 are almost have scams/frauds project that didn't deliver what was promised. Lets say investors in 2017 already learn thats why they choose a certain project that have a really bright future.

It's so hard to attract investors because of all the scams that happened back in 2017.

Looking at ways to lessen or eliminate scams is good but i believe the only path towards it is education and awareness. We can do our part in this by being more vocal and critical about new ICOs/IEO/ITOs that come out. Any red flags should immediately be pointed out and the general public warned if we are ever to expect investor confidence again.

maybe if you want investors to be interested again there must be a system that can sort out a project that is feasible to publish their token salas for example create an audit team that is truly credible to audit a new project that wants to hold a token sale so that it might be able to minimize the scam project and investors will be interested again.

It's not the fault of the investors, it's the fault of those scammers that crowded our community. The early investors who made profit were good with it but those who failed and don't want to commit mistake again because of the experience they have, don't want to try again.

They can opt for a newer coin if they want to but it's all about the lesson they've learned. We can't pull them back here unless they'll do it willingly.

With so many ico scam projects happening in 2017 and 2018, of course investors will think if investing in ico projects will be very risky losing money, maybe that is the reason investors start leaving ico and move to invest in other ways, such as trading, ieo and others which is considered profitable and but certainly the security of their funds is a top priority for them before investing

This decline in trust was a result of last year where cryptocurrency was experiencing a setback in terms of its demand. many aspects are the reason why investors are no longer interested in unclear investments and also they already have a lot of experience

Since the crypto market got hyped a lot of scam project appears that led for investors to lose their interest and also because of the market down trend their portpolio hurts too so I guess that most of those investors stop participating on any new project these days because of their past bad experience.

I think the easiest way to change this fearful situation is to move on and create another good hype
ICOs and IEOs are gone, people are fed up with them already. The market is waiting for some new awesome schemes

This is cryptocurrency which is a free market, everyone has freedom so in my opinion this is difficult to eliminate because there are always people who look for opportunities on an existing weakness and of course make more and more projects that are only scams and then many investors who began to hesitate in doubt invest because they are afraid that their investment will be in vain. So it is better to ask the people closest to you and then observe the project according to the observations you make.

Last year was disaster  due to too many fake projects which ruined too many livelihood (bounty hunters)  moreover too many scammed and spammers joining campaigns with their alt account and some of them trying to claim rewards without doing tasks it was total mess up. I wish this year we get legit projects.
