Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

yes, from some of the points you have said, I think that is indeed true and if investors apply that method before investing in any project, at least it might not be scammed. but in most cases, new investors are always trapped in waste projects. this is what they need to consider before investing, I mean how to manage their financial management and also more detailed research about the project they want to invest.

There's a basic way , first don't fall in any testimonials of project and promises because mostly nowadays are copy paste and not trustworthy, which is make a research if it's genuine to assure if its legitimat one, and second be aware and stay away on some projects that selling with a no value coin because it's uncertain and indeed totally scam IMO. Much better to invest or buy a coin with finished projects wherein certain and there is a possibility always you can get good return .

to not get scammed you need to do detailed research about the project you want to follow, especially the background of the team and the developer, the road map of the project and also what products they offer in the market. on the one hand you don't use all your money just for investment projects, it might be far better to set aside for cryptoqurrency investments too.

That method now it is no longer effective because now there are already many projects that look like seriously promising. it will be difficult to distinguish which is a scam and which is not. in my opinion, use the feeling if you are not sure, so do not invest.

I agree. as i said, if doing research is no longer effective, then to avoid a lot of losses that is do not using all the money to invest in one type of project. And choose other types of investment alternatives that have been more promising, so it can recover if experience losses in investing in a project.

greed and stuck in FOMO I often do and get scammed repeatedly. but from this error I began to learn that if there is an opportunity then sell (not greedy) and also when the price of a coin rises sharply immediately sell (not stuck in fomo)

right, many new investors have fallen victim, so in the end the results are not as expected. new investors usually have a high emotion, so they cannot control it, and this impacts on the inaccuracy in analyzing the project. if we take the steps above, of course, can reduce the case of scams

Correct, if you find time to go deeper to fully understand everything and not jump into conclusion about this business. Most of those who loses their investment failed to step forward and advance to have a good edge among those traders inside this market. If you will do your homework and make sure to have a good assessment before taking your feet inside the market. Observing the actual field of this place will made you more familiar and can build right decision making.

How not to get scammed simple:

1. Don't trust your money to anyone on the internet
2. Do not Join on HYIPs and Ponzis (Don't be greedy being greedy is highly falls into the trap)
3. If you are investing on a coin research the team the white paper to if the project is copied in someone else's project

To avoid getting scammed on the space is not really 100% certain. However, one should still try as much as possible to preventing getting scammed. Number 1 factor that makes people get scammed is GREED. If one can shun greed, I bet you, one will not easily be scammed.

I agree that to avoid scam projects, we must be patient and not greedy and not rushing. If we wait patiently for a project to be traded in the market, we will get a chance to buy at a cheaper price and for a new project, in my opinion we should always do research first about the team behind the project.

Be careful in investing is needed, because the investment has a lot of risk, both the risk of loss and risk that is profitable, so before investing we must make a good analysis so that no risk of loss in the future.

As long as we think about investing, we will always be in a state of risk, more precisely, fraud can come to us any time when we have haste, errors in analysis and thought, therefore, if you do not want to get into a scam, it is best to stay away from investment-related projects. But the fact is that if we do such things, our profits will not be high, even I don't want to say is very low and almost zero, and after all, we want to be better, we need to take risks, accept we can fall into the trap of scammers, prevention is only temporary, cannot be absolute

The best way to stay safe in crypto is be very careful when it comes to choosing a project or coin to invest in. To be careful here means the investor must read and research vehemently on the project in order to ascertain its authenticity and capabilities of becoming successful. Targets during the research should focus on the team and its expertise level, the product, the use case, the idea pf the project etc.
When you have to do so much just to try to not get scammed instead of concentrating on trying to make money with your investments then it is a better idea to just forget about investing in new coins, many do not like this idea because they do not want to entertain the idea of limiting their potential profits, but since my capital is limited I cannot risk my coins in projects that ultimately will not bring me any benefit and not only will waste my money but my time as well.

that's important before we decide to invest in several projects we must first do research on each project that will be launched and find out more about the teams involved in it in order to minimize the risk of loss

That is absolutely true of this, and in addition to this also, we have to learn to stop relying on hype, because what I have seen people use in choosing project in the past is because of hype, and it depend on the marketing strength of the project which hype should not be used as a criteria to know if a project will have a growth in future or not, but we need to focus more on the team and the product that the team chooses to offer.

If the product is another duplicated of the hundreds of projects that are already available in the market, believe me that there is nowhere that these projects are going to, it is only a real working project with a new concept and a very great team that can make a project to grow in value.

I would also advise you not to respond to messages from strangers who offer you a quick way to get money. I noticed that such cases of fraud have become more frequent and it is very important to pay attention to this.

If only it was this easy, scammers are really smart, they have been trying to find new and innovative ways to scam people for a lot of time, the second point that you bring of not joining HYIP is valid but they have learned to disguise those programs and make it look like something else, and the perfect example are icos, it may seem as if you are investing in a coin that has a lot of potential to grow quickly only to find out a few months later that the coin is a scam and you will never recover your money.

Thanks for the advices; some are trivial, others interesting and useful.
the point is that now the scammers put more effort into creating a convincing presentation than in the project itself, and it becomes increasingly difficult to recognize scams.
We'll see if we can do some cleaning.

if you find such a cation then you should be able to be careful because today many traders and investors who are new or can be said as beginners are still easy to be exposed to such scams, you better invest in IEO in a large exchange which in my opinion is more concerned with security.
