I know it might sound cold but I have to admit that reading up on the sob stories of others tends to help me stay more grounded and coutious, there is a telegram group fully dedicated to this, they forward sob stories from all over telegram into the Channel, sometimes even twitter and other platforms, if there is anywhere on the internet where someone lost money through Cryptocurrencies and the victim posts about it, it would be forwarded in the channel, seeing the failures cost by FOMO  has made me a much more cautious investor.
The best way to learn is not from your own mistakes but the mistakes of others, this will save you time and money and this is true not only in the markets but in every aspect of our lives, so what you are doing is not cold it is just a very smart thing to do since many people come to this market with the desire of becoming rich and most of the time the opposite happens to them, and this should be a lesson to all of us there is not really a fast path to becoming rich, if you want that to happen to you then you need to work really hard for it.
But there are also ways to not get scammed even if you are not commiting mistakes. Always play safe when it comes to making investments, if you want to multiply your capital then you must first protect it. Scam projects are keep increasing and you must identify the project that you are going to make investment if it is legit or a shit project that can take your money away.

You don't have to worry about me, long time ago I discovered that the only way in which you could protect yourself completely from scammers is to not invest any amount of money in new projects, I know that I'm missing some good opportunities to make money but I am also missing investing in all of those scam projects and that to me is a fair trade, unfortunately many people are going to take their chances in those projects and after a few months they are going to lament to not take my posture.

I agree that trading is the fairest way to reduce risk. new projects are many fraudulent projects, so that they can use up the funds we have. trading on top ranking coins on the coin marketcap can be an option, and we must learn to fundamentally and technically

I've been in online investment since 2013, I made a lot of mistake to trust those online investment and dont get my money back, I stop for about 4 yrs and returned last 2017 and started cryptocurrency, I thought I learned already from my mistake, but still got scammed, but now im more aware about investing, I always check everything, I also ask different people about the site or the project, the most import thing that ive learned is you can earn without investing, you just need to invest your time and effort.

This is indeed what often happens to investors who invest in new projects, where they lack understanding and are too greedy to get large profits and then when they start to be interested in investing in the project, the people behind the project take advantage of the opportunity to take it away the money they have gotten from funding.

This information is very useful and beneficial especially to the new cryptocurrency enthusiast. Greed is something we all are guilty of. I had my fair share of losses due to greed when I recently joined the industry and got involved in hyip which brought great set back to my finances. I wish I was wiser then, because bitcoin was very easy to earn during those years.

Whenever I see that someone is interested in investing in this market and it's really hyped about all the profits that he's going to get I always try to calm him down and bring him down to earth, being enthusiastic about this market is great but if you believe all of those lies about being able to become rich very quickly then you are going to become one of the many people in this market that have lost everything that they had because they invested in bad coins.

Yes that is why self-control is a must have here inside the crypto world because it can save you a thousand times from being scammed by strangers in the internet. I known a few friends who lost some money just because they're not thinking first about their actions and in result scammers take advantage if it and scammed them. We all need to remember that a having a good self-control will help us avoid scammers.

This is good and effective suggestion. Some of the victims are just relying on searching on Google which sometime clicking the wrong site and directed to phishing site. No wonder the exact look of the one they clicked is not noticeable that might lead to leaking of info on a particular malware site that can potentially steal youre information used in youre wallets.

I believe greed is the most prevalent reason for getting scammed both in the cryptocurrency space and the world at large. Most people who scam others presents a better deal to their victims. This serves as a bait to attract the naive and innocent, thinking that the offer will work in their advantage not knowing the opposite is their lot.

Sometimes it's not even websites we have used before that steals our information, it's mostly new websites that we have never used before and some people tend to google them and sometimes end up in the wrong websites, we can never be too careful and most importantly, we shouldn't use the same password for every website we use because your password could be stolen from a website that isn't even financially related and used to hack your financial accounts.

Scammers always make fake or phishing websites and I think we are wary of this. To know this, we must always check the security of the websites we visit from the web certificate. In addition, to avoid scammers and phishing links, do not carelessly click on links sent from people we don't know

Of all the mistakes that people make not creating an individual password for each website is the one that is the most unforgivable, there are even applications that help you to create new passwords that are impossible to guess, the only thing that you need to do is to download it and and install it and it will generate new passwords for you without the need of remembering them and if anyone is still using the same password for every single website then he deserves to get hacked for taking his security so lightly.

knowledge is important after that, relationships also become important because if you have many relationships you will find it easier to find projects to do research, then you can invest or join a bounty campaign if you have one. but knowledge is preferred because if you don't have knowledge you can only listen to people's references without being able to understand the concept of the project independently
Both of them I feel are important where we have knowledge and also relationships with several people, so we can ask for advice from some people we trust or you could say the people closest to us who know about cryptocurrency and then we make our own observations about what has been suggested by him, how the research we do, whether in accordance with what is said or not and then it can be a reason for us to make decisions.

There are some factors like greed, hype, lavish promises that work for the incidents of investors and bounty hunters getting scammed. There are groups of scammers, who give sweet promises and talk big only to scam investors. I find your very useful and informative about avoiding scam projects and stay safe from getting scammed. Thank you for it.

Almost all of the investors are greedy but not all of them are smart, if you are smart and greedy at the same time, you might still be successful investing here, because you know how to play the game in your favor.

The problem with some investors are they are greedy and stupid at the same time, they just look at one side which is the reward and look away on the risk.
They don't understand the risk and reward in crypto, they think if they invest here, it will be like a money machine that will give instant return.

I think we need to add one more thing, which is the unprofessional idea.
For fraud projects, they often offer roadmaps and limited visibility. Their whitepaper only focuses on the price of tokens and big discounts and some limited information about the market. That is also a way to identify fraud.
Avoid projects that only talk about price, price, and price.
Avoid projects that only talking about pump, pump and pump, even if asked about the advantages of the project, the team responded as if he didn't understand the project he was working on. Shit Project
