In Cryptocurrencies, when something sounds too good to be true, then it's definitely too good to be true, I recently saw a group in telegram that was offering Cryptocurrency loans with just 10% collateral, basically you could deposit 1 BTC and collect a loan of 10 BTC, it sounds stupid when I say it like this but the fact is that some starry-eyed newbies would still fall for it, afterall some people still fell for the money doubling schemes.

Sounds funny when people still believe in money doubling, how can one use 1BTC to get 10BTC? Anyone who get scammed in this manner is foolishly greedy. Even legit projects can turn to be a crap one.
I have invested in a legit project before, I did my research, check the team, the feasibility of the project and all.
But the tokens are now worthless, seems that the team has no success of implementing their system.
I can't say that they scammed the investors, but I think they have no luck in making their platform a reality.

The biggest problem of todays society is greed, even when people are doing good profit from a coin (50-70%) they are not selling them. They keep holding all their altcoins and sooner or later the price drops and makes -x10.

this happened to me in the past when I bought ETH, at that time the price had increased but I didn't sell it immediately because I was sure it would go up again but what happened ETH went down and I regret that I didn't sell it when it went up and now I if I do trading if it's a profit I will sell it immediately for fear of repeating again like before

The market is the best teacher of all time, no one can guide you to find the perfect entry and exit price points. The greedy human psychology is the reason behind the flash crash and monthly uptrend on the crypto charts, it is same psychology in other financial markets. If you missed the trading opporutnity, don't overthink about it, another opportunity will shine on the corner.

It will be easy for you to identify the scam websites and scam advertisement on the internet. A lot of newbie in cryptocurrency getting scam because they are being greedy in earning a good amount of bitcoin in a lot of websites I experience joining an HYIP in my years in cryptocurrency and if the advertisement of the website is too good to be true if it obviously a scam. There is no way you could earn a 20-50% of your investment daily with just investing your money this kind of scheme online or HYIP was just a bait and probably they are just circulating the money of others in your account.
