I have a friend who’s a huge Fedor fan and he thinks Fedor is the best HW MMA fighter ever.  I tend to agree but how do we really know if he hadn’t fought the guys in the UFC?  Like Cain, JDS and whoever was at the top during their prime.

Fedor is a legend from another time with 40 pro wins in his MMA carrier, he was there fighting and kicking before UFC ever existed, it was Pride from Japan, and he still have one last farewell fight
I would agree that he is the best MMA heavyweight fighter in the world in his time, but this sport is changing all the time.

You know what happened with ex-UFC champion Demetrious Johnson when he moved from UFC to One Championship MMA?
He lost from Adriano Moraes who was never in UFC, and I can find more examples like that.

Yeah I know.  The guy I’m really interested in to see fight in the UFC is AJ McKee.  I think that guy is legit and could bang vs all the top 145’ers in the UFC.  I think Dana White should do some sort of trade like he did for Askren.  And do it asap!  Unlike with Askren, the UFC did it way too late and got the bum version.  Would’ve been nice to see Askren in his prime and fight in the UFC.  Poor guy...  Now he’s at the wrong end of the highlight reel.  Lol.

I forgot to post this earlier but one more ex-UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens is back in the fighting game after he signed new deal with PFL MMA for 2022 season.
He is 35 years old, his first fight was long ago in 2007, his professional record is 28-19, and he will be good addition for PFL competition lightweight division.
Stephens lost five of his last six fights and one was no contest so he needs to come back with a win in PFL.

He is not old by life age standards, but by professional athlete standards, he's on the older side, definitely way past his prime. In his division (Lightweight) the average fighter age is around 30. As the weight divisions go up so does the average age as it is relative to the speed that those weight classes put emphasis on when fighting, and speed tends to go first when you age. Also, that speed tends to have a slightly more deteriorating effect on your body overall. The average fighting lifespan of a fighter tends to be around 10 years give or take, and Stephens has started fighting in 2007, so that would be around 15 or so years of active MMA training and fighting. When you take that into the mix with his age, it's easy to see that he is in fact old for what he is doing. Not saying he couldn't knock out someone, this is MMA after all and it's not uncommon for things like that to happen, but overall, he is over the hill. 

note: above statistics do not include outliers who break out of the standards, but that's not the point of this right now as Stephens never showed to be any kind of outlier.

One Championship event called BAD BLOOD starts in few days with some interesting fights to watch in preparation for big UFC weekend.
Main event is all Brazilian Bibiano Fernandes vs John Lineker for Bantamweight championship title, but co-main event is also great heavyweight title fight with Anatoly Malykhin vs Kirill Grishenko.
Both Malykhin and Grishenko are undefeated so one of this two titans must fall in Bad Blood of Russia and Belarus.

I just can't believe the odds I see on this main event fight, and I know De Fries is favorite but I think that bookmakers and everyone else underestimated Darko Stosic.
De Freis is better in stand up and he is much bigger, but I think that Stosic is better on the ground, he is younger and he has experience of fighting in UFC.

PFL is finally back after long break with PFL Challenger Series 1 starting on February 18
There is four fights and most of them are in light-heavyweight category with main event Josh Silveira (7-0-0) vs Mohamed Juma (8-2-0).
Mohamed Juma is big underdog but he is much heavier and I don't expect so easy win like odds suggest.
This is starting 8 weeks of fights with 8 PFL contracts earned.

Thank you for paying attention to this fight. It seems that it is worth taking a closer look at these fighters and this organization in general. With such a large spread of odds, and from what you can see such a small difference in fighters skills, it can be quite profitable to gamble like in casino and risk a few bucks on Stosic.

This is going to be sixth title defence already by De Fries. Since he was left UFC, he has blossomed. He has lost mostly to a "mma stars". His opponent - Stosic, top1, is also from UFC. Interesting, interesting. On the paper De Fries looks better. Odds also show that Stosic is a huge underdog. Both men are best in parter, but I think fight will be in stance, where Stosic has an advantage 10/16 wins are by KO, while De Fries has 4/20 and usually wins by submission. I think Stosic will win by TKO, he will level out all the ground game from De Fries and will finish him by TKO.

I could see something like this happening and with such a good odds it's worth betting something on that.
De Fries is much slower than Stosic, but he has his own advantages of being much more heavier than his oponent.
Interesting to see that 83% of fights De Fries lost was lost by KO or TKO, but this was years ago and one of them was from Stipe Miocic.

Bellator is back this weekend in the same day like UFC with new event Bellator 274 Gracie vs Storley held in Mohegan Sun Arena.
Neiman Gracie is coming from well known Gracie family and he is great in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship with 11-2 MMA record.
His opponent in main event is Logan Storley who won most of his fights with KO or TKO, so this will be great clash of styles to watch.
Andrey Koreshkov is absolute favorite in co-main event against Chance Rencountrebut odds are to low for betting on him.

Thanks for a reminder. I am looking forward Andrey Koreshkov fight. Nice fighting style, striker that always tries to work as number one. He trains with Alexander Shlemenko and that might be his weekness. Shlemenko suppets striking fighting style and does not like wrestling. Wrestling is Koreshkovs weakness. His opponent is average in everything. I think Koreshkov would win this time.

I remember a story that Vaso Bakočević told (the guy who Koreshkov back kicked to oblivion), that when he met him in person, Andrey looked huge for his division and so god damn strong. I mean, his losses came from top fighters only, so there's definitely something there. Great guy to watch, I am hard-pressed to think he would lose this one.

Logan Storley won against Neiman Gracie, but it was much more interesting win for Andrey Koreshkov in first round of co-main Bellator 274 event, with amazing spinning back kick.

As usually, nice KO by Koreshkov. Andrei has a good feeling of distance, as this is not the first time he win by spinning kick. We will see Koreshkov soon btw, on Bellator London tournament on May 13 against Paul Daley. Paul Daley is very experienced striker. 63 mma fights with 43 wins and 34 knockouts, 21-3 in kickboxing. Former UFC fighter. He will be a good test for Koreshkov; he will be one of the most dangerous opponents for him.

Interesting main event in Light Heavyweight category with Reinier de Ridder vs Kiamrian Abbasov.
I never watches them before but Reinier de Ridder - Dutch King has a perfect 14-0 record and he could be material for UFC or Bellator.

If most of the fighters in card are rather unknown for everyone, then Gegard Mousasi is for sure familiar to a lot of MMA fans. Former Strikeforce champ and UFC fighter is defending his middleweight champ title against Austin Vanderford, with 11-0 record in MMA.

This is going to be interesting fight to watch!
36 years old veteran Gegard Mousasi is back in main event against undefeated Austin Vanderford in Bellator main event.
He is not that old if we see his years but his fighting record 48-7-2 is showing a different story, and he has only one defeat in last twelve fights.
I never watched any of Vanderford fights so I can't really speak about his skills, but he is big underdog at betting websites.
