I was always wondering, if Gegard Mousasi is such a talented fighter, why he is not in UFC right now. I don't think that Bellator offered him more money than UFC. As a middleweight fighter, he can get some good place in top. He was there for some time. Performed, lets say better than average. There was a case with legal-illegal knee in his last fight in UFC, but later is was proved that is was legal after all.

^  AFAIK he left because he wasn’t happy with how he was treated in the UFC.  Like most other fighters who made a name for themselves, he felt like he deserved more and a title shot after winning vs Weidman.  Which he did imo.  But it felt like Dana would have none of Mousasi’s gripes because he wasn’t really this big personality in the UFC and he was kinda boring tbh.

Mousasi prolly regrets the decision.  He could’ve been great in the UFC if he allowed himself to grow and develop more as a fighter and to some extent, a ‘personality’.  Look at Covington.

If we kick every boring fighter from UFC, there will be less than 50 left There are about 700-750 fighters currently, but despite grimacing at stare downs, most cant show anything

If I did not get a title fighter after 5-0 and being a strikeforce champion, I would also be disappointed. Look at Michael Chandler - was a champ in Bellator, moved to UFC, got one win over Hooker (not the best in lightweight imho), and already got a title fight

^  Well that would be dumb to do now, wouldn’t it.  And I don’t think it was Dana who kicked Mousasi out.  I think Dana really wanted him to stay.  It was either Mousasi let his contract run out or requested to be let out of his contract.  I think...  But nothing a quick search won’t answer.  Too lazy to do it now.  Lol.  I’m locked in on Ukraine news while hanging out here.  It’s crazy what’s going on over there...  So if anybody from Ukraine can read this, stay safe out there guys.  I know it ain’t much but our prayers and our thoughts are with you.

If you compare percentage how much UFC fighters earns compared to all other sports, you would understand better, most money is taken by Dana White and his management.
One more example, Kevin Lee will earn more money for Eagle FC promotion owned by Khabib in fight against Diego Snachez, than most champion fighters earn in UFC.

Are you trying to say that organizations, that signed fighters who left UFC due to payment controversies, pay those fighters more than UFC? It is hard to believe that they have budgets bigger than UFC and can afford that. Really hard to believe in that. Maybe for few fights these fighters will get more than they get from UFC, but not during whole career.

UFC is more business than fighting organization. I think they have sort of "fight payment to possible profit" ratio for every fighter. The fighter can be the most unique in the world with 1000:0 record. But if his fights are boring and people dont buy tickets or PPV, then I would not pay him millions for his uniqueness.

Take a look on interesting numbers. As he is a lightweight and claim that "he will earn more than a champion", then I've searched Oliveira numbera. Here are they. Charles makes 300-500k in his last fights. Khabib offered Lee way more than 500k ? (if Charles makes 500k, offering 501k will be a joke). Or he has offered him 500k and a bonus. But this might be true only if numbers on thesportsdaily.com are not fake.

Khabib paid 1 million for Gorilla FC. And pay +500k Lee? Somehow that does not sound true. Were there PPV during EFC 44? I think his friends from UAE might be helping him. That is the only way it all be possible.

Big championship belt fight in heavyweight category in KSW is starting tomorrow with Phil De Fries vs Darko Stosic.
I don't watch KSW events so often but this fight should not be missed, both guys are ex UFC fighters with De Fries having reach and weight advantage.
Stosic is younger and he is big underdog in this fight, and I think it's worth betting on him if you can triple your money.

Good for Kevin Lee if the Eagle FC is paying more than 500k USD per fight plus the PPV bonuses the UFC champs get.  If you believe it, you believe it.  But I wouldn’t take his word for it.  The guy was salty as f when he was removed from the roster.

We will see Kevin Lee soon btw. On March 11, in Miami event Eagle FC 46: Lee vs. Sanchez will take place. I did not know that Sanchez is also in EFC now. Looks like Khabib is picking up former UFC stars. I think this fight is going to be easy for Lee. Imho, Sanchez is no longer a top fighter. His best years were until 2010. Now there is not even a shade of Sanchez is left.

I don’t really care tbh, as long as the UFC delivers great fights during every event, people can say whatever they want, to whoever they want in the UFC.  I mean no one in the UFC is related to me or is a friend of mine.  I just like watching the fights and make small bets here and there for the lulz.  I’m more interested in what’s going on in the cage than outside of it.  The rest is just noise.

And I really do hope Bellator or some other company could deliver great events like the UFC, two or three is obv better than one.

I agree, and Eagle FC by Khabib had great potential to compete with UFC, but I am not so sure now with all the shit with Russia and banning their athletes from everything.
We need peace first and then we can fight fair in octagon to prove who is stronger and better, not like this with guns.

Last time I've read something about Diego Sanchez he had mental problems. Spirits were chasing him or he was fighting them. I thought that all these strikes to the head turned him into "that crazy guy at the liquor store". But he is in EFC now. I remember him from TUF season 1. I was in first year of University that time. Now I am...Different

Not only he trained but he got a black belt, but I think they stripped him from this belt because of recent action and I didn't know this was possible but I guess it is.

I watched the fight and it was total domination for De Fries he was just to strong ,to heavy and to good on ground for Stosic.
That fight was painful for me because I lost my bet

Yeah, but that's basically any CEO of a major corporation, and that's what the UFC is. In some completely distorted way, this is showing how capitalism eats its workers (fighters) with them having to do most of the heavy lifting (figuratively speaking) but not benefiting from it as much as the top brass. It's hard to tell if the position itself has made him a prick or was he a prick before that, but as the old saying goes 'power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely' (even though some studies suggest that it merely heightens pre-existing ethical tendencies, but let's not get into that XD)

Warming up for this MMA weekend with Invicta FC 46 Rodríguez vs Torquato 2.
This is all women MMA competition and UFC is often picking fighters from this competition to sign for them.
Main event is for Flyweight Championship title between ladies from Mexico and Brazil, but I never watched them and I don't know anything about them.
I see that in first fight Karina Rodriguez was better and won by decision, but anything is possible in rematch.
