I registered using my IP, and played using that. But there was this time that I started playing with the use of VPN for the contest that they held on games and rounds. I'm thinking if I should continue or stop using VPN to access other slot games that I want to play. ^ Definitely right, using VPN in most gambling sites was against to them and should not use especially if your place belongs to the countries that prohibit by the gambling site. So it turns out that they dont have any choice since its been required and now they are enforcing kyc which isnt really appealing to anyone.For those who had some concern

about privacy then this would be a turn off but for those who do trust up the platform then this wont be an issue.Some would deal this as a major problem but for some it wouldnt really be that

You must stop using VPN on roobet, since it's forbidden to ise VPN on Roobet according their ToS unless you have completed the KYC tier 1

Just for clarification, accessing Roobet through a vpn may result in the suspension of your account unless you complete the step two of the verification process (AML-1) by linking your facebook account or uploading an identity document.
I just completed the level one verification and I believe it's just a matter of time before all other regulated casinos start enforcing kyc.

In my opinion, this is the perfect reply to this issue. They should at the very least release an official statement addressing this issue to the community and stop promoting themselves as an anonymous gambling platform.
I understand that there is an AML policy in place and that KYC is needed in some circumstances, but those circumstances should be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Yes he is active but dont have latest post in this thread. His/her presence does matter especially for the questions that should be address and needed an explanation, though the thread is active because of many users trusting their site.

What concerns the RTP, Roobet offers a lot of 3rd party slots so RTP is determined by slot provider and that should be the same on most other websites.

It is true that RTP comes from the provider, but afaik there is 2 type for the RTP. First is the regular/default and the other one is usually called by DX version which has 1-2% lower RTP than the regular/default one. At least some providers has those two type of RTP and casino may choose which one to be used. I don't think people get angry from this KYC update. Probably most are just shocked from this one. Furthermore, I believe that KYC was implemented due to "suspicious activity" detected by their system or staff. You can withdraw even you just did the first step of their KYC.

Official statement should also arrive soon.
