It's not exactly cheating, because they never claimed to not have it (i.e. pretend they have a 1% house edge). But it's also disappointing they don't publish the actual house edge anywhere... (and don't even give it when directly asked)

The fact that a platform requires KYC has absolutely nothing to do with whether the site can be hacked or whether scams take place there - unfortunately. Just look at the hacks of the exchanges in the last time, without exception all exchanges had required KYC and were hacked anyway. A hacker does not usually create an account beforehand

KYC has no advantages for the user in my opinion, quite the opposite. But I understand that KYC is required, especially where there are FIAT interfaces.

You are right. KYC serves mostly for governments and exchanges, not customers.

As you have sent them an email, I think it will be better to wait until receive a reply from them. You or any other cant go to any decision or say something anti of roobet before getting the answer on this issue. First wait and get response from them then make argument against them if necessary.

That's exactly how it was with Bitstamp. If the damage is not too great, hacks can also be a wake-up call for companies to invest more in their system security, or it can also be a warning shot for competitors that they could be next and invest more in security tests etc. accordingly.
So if an exchange/vendor survives a hack financially, it usually means for us as end users that the system is much more secure afterwards and another hack via the same channel will be practically non-existent.

No way, you get better bonuses for your losses since alternative casinos offer the bonuses/reloads based on your wager(not losses). Unless you are printing all day, Roobet can be a top casino for getting a big percent of losses back on the Vip rewards system. Btw, not all casinos have the same house edge. I watched a 10k crash on Roobet in 6 hours while no luck on Stake for 2 days.
P.S: House edge is 3% on dice/mines/towers so probably same on crash.

The reason bustabit did that, is they had a bonus system that gave out bonuses for cashing out after other people. So the earlier you cashed out, the less house edge and the later you cashed out, the higher house edge (up to a max of 1%).

But roobet removed bustabit's bonus system, and then slapped on a 1-in-20 chance of 1x. So the net result is a house edge that scales between 5% and 6% depending how you play.

We can verify this by simulate playing a million games of flat betting 2x:

Roobet is literally the worst casino here, even in real life casino house hedge and rtp are not so bad.

I dont understand why people keep saying its a great casino, as you said this isnt a scam because they dont say they have 1% house edge, but they said they had a 98% rtp on all games in this topic.

Also that was posted on December 2019 so alot of things could already change in one and a half year. 2% on average kinda make sense if you include their rakeback because back then there wasnt that many crypto gambling website that give you rakeback

I don't think it's a scam, I have never seen them outright lie about the house-edge (if so, I would've called them out on it). But I do think it's a bit unethical to not be disclosing your house edge (especially when asked!) especially if you clone a game you'd generally think you'd offer the same odds. A good example of this is the even the author of the roobet crash verifier thought they were using the same procedure as bustabit (v1) and didn't account for the 1-in-20 instant crash they snuck in. I got nothing against high house edges, just think you should be straight forward about it as it's something any reasonable person would want to know.
