There were so many questions I thought it was the survey itself. I didn't know that it was for the profile and not the actual survey.

I just noticed the same thing too, I tried to do the free play but I feel that the reward for the survey isn't worth it.  Besides, I also doubt that my region would be the target of that survey, so rather than spending time (and possibly wasted) filling the survey I just skipped them.
