Its almost impossible to make an account on atomic trade without starting a support ticket.
I used 4 different emails trying to get confirmation emails to make an account , how are we supposed to trade this coin?

After a support ticket, I was able to get an account confirmed. . . but its just a silly lengthy process just to make an account on a small exchange.

You could just sign up at bittrex.com Wink

https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-XSV

bittrex seems a bit shady to me, also I had to go hunting instead of them just listing their license.

I mean why use a CPA in Las Vegas as your front when all your officers for bittrex are in the Seattle Area? Is it because Nevada has some of the easiest LLC laws and taxes?

I don't know maybe I am just jaded after all the others that have been hacked or ran off with coins, but it still seems fishy to me to have a CPA be your cover in an out of state business, instead of having to file for a Foreign Limited-Liability Company based in Nevada (any out of state is considered foreign).

I mean here is the officers :

But the company is tagged to :
Registered Agent Information
Name:     BRETT CAMPBELL CPA   Address 1:     6077 S FORT APACHE RD STE 100
Address 2:        City:     LAS VEGAS
State:     NV   Zip Code:     89148
Phone:        Fax:
Mailing Address 1:        Mailing Address 2:
Mailing City:        Mailing State:     NV
Mailing Zip Code:
Agent Type:     Commercial Registered Agent
Status:     Active

And then there is his list of fronts he has put up,
http://nvsos.gov/SOSEntitySearch/RACorps.aspx?fsnain=iGD%252fflDw1VoYyc3ZRx75lQ%253d%253d&RAName=BRETT+CAMPBELL+CPA

With quite a bit of them being revoked.

Meh guess I look into things to much.

2 reasons:

1) Tax implications and LLC forming is easier in NV then WA
2) We wanted to write off trips to vegas... Wink

Also, we'd appreciate if this was taken off forum boards.  I know its publicly available information (even before the LLC forming) but no need to make it any easier to find than it already is...

As long as you don't mind trading somewhere with sub par security and no trollbox Wink

Atomic has over twice the XSV volume that shittrex does.

You got one out of two right... trollboxes are terrible Wink ... but sub par security?  Love to hear why you think that.

Thanks
Richie

My thoughts on this coin:

-Thank you EngineersPools.com - received bonus XSV for mining on the pool as promised. That is a nice way to use the bounty and reward the miners who are building critical mass on a pool.

-Otherwise, the coin is way too hard to mine and the confirmation time is way too long. Given the mining difficulty, it seems underpriced on the exchanges.

not to sound bad (me) but if I get this correctly
"This coin was designed to gear all the creative minds of the Silicon Valley towards Crypto Currencies. This coin is Premined 50%. Silicon Valley Coin will serve as a bridge between Silicon Valley innovation and the Crypto Community effectively by distributing our premined coins to certain zip codes surrounding the big tech companies of Silicon Valley."

aka "operation give rich people or people what have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more opportunities than average people or people in low income/no job areas free money".
Isn't this kind of like "give bill gates your money" (aka rich people?) or like give people that have money that is not theirs (venture capitalist money to play with, whereas venture capitalist do no go to remove villages and give free money to poor people instead they give it to others that have more opportunities than a majority of the world)

Something very fishy about difficulty fluctutation of this coin. Net hash rate stays stable, why did the diff rise so much? Did the diff retarget randomly? The dev don't want miners mine this coin so easily, so the price rises.
I stopped mining this coin.

most people in SV are not rich. This coin should be targeting the students, domestic staff, admin staff, govt staff and student body in the Silicon Valley region. I would implore the developer to get the coin known at all the community colleges and universities.

Think of it like this:
Giving coins to an indigent community is more than likely to cause a market crash due to the lack of knowledge and or care/ drive to go forth intelligently in properly perusing the coin, hence, causing a loss for all avid investors in the currency. By targeting people more likely to hold and invest wisely, we encourage the step of bringing in outside money rather than rashly dumping it out for someone who just wants a quick buck. We are giving the Silicon Valley an incentive to incorporate crypto currencies as a whole to their industries by stimulating Venture Capitalist investors. This is achieved by giving them a risk free entrance into the world of crypto currencies.

Exactly, Our goal is different then most coins, we will not only be selecting zip codes around the big tech companies to receive our vouchers, we will be selecting the top income households among those mail routes. The USPS provides demographics which we are using to target the recipients of our vouchers. We want people who don't NEED to sell the coins instantly. We want people with the wealth, connections, and the capability to cause change. We are targeting people who already invest thousands of dollars in other industries and we are introducing them to ours.

Why would these millionaires want to use this coin again?

They are millionaires. They are going to call what companies, and ask to use these coins? How many coins are these people getting.

I don't understand.

I am not a millionaire. If I get something in the mail telling be I got free MONEY I don't believe it.

If I knew nothing about cryptos and I got something in the mail about these "tokens", which is how they will see them, I would be very skeptical. If it then told me to DOWNLOAD something to my computer to get my FREE MONEY, it would END right there.

Lets recap

Said person gets a notice in the mail saying that they just received free digital money.

All they have to do is go download something onto their computer

Then call around and ask places to start accepting this digital money

They know nothing about cryptos or how they work. Accept what they have heard about people losing millions on Bitcoin on CNN because of hackers. HACKERS....Rich person gets mail saying...Download to get free coins.....They have REAL money to be stolen...lots of it...  How may rich people do you think will download the wallet??

I think this is one of the scamcoins my friend warned me about

I have found a few new coins that have promise.
This is NOT one of them.
But I am new to this crypto thing
Maybe I'm the one who is nuts
Enlighten me PLEASE

HARD FORK in 12 hours

We will be forking at  8 a.m. Pacific Standard time, 3/22 to prevent the mining difficulty from fluctuating so harshly, This will help increase the amounts of blocks produced to reach our 8 minute block target. Thank you for your continued support.

We will announce the block number of the fork 1 hour prior to this countdown hitting zero
