Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose?

I use crypto to make a good income from trading and investing. The rest I will exchange it to fiat for me to use it as an official payment at my place of residence, because at my place crypto still cannot be used officially by the government. So my options, I chose both and needed both.

same with me. i choose both, use cryptocurrency for investment and get extra money from it or as a side job for me. then use fiat for offline payment because   people around me not   know about cryptocurrency so they are not accept payment from cryptocurrency.  difficult to choose one of both between cryptocurrency and fiat money because  are needed for our life

We can't just use one and disregard the other. First of all we are all here in bitcointalk and most of the replies are about how bitcoin or crypto in general is much better compared to fiat so I am not going to talk about why we should be using bitcoin, that part is already understood by this community and if I had to defend bitcoin against fiat lovers somewhere else I would have said the same thing said here.

However, fiat can't be disregarded completely neither, it is a good system that has been going for years now, the problem is not with the fiat but who is controlling the fiat and that could be the issue here, given the power people who ruined fiat economy could hurt bitcoin economy as well, even though it is harder thanks to blockchain it is still quite possible.

This topic is been ages, still I will choose cryptocurrency, yes fiat is needed in many ways, paying for food, buying clothes etc but the thing is, cryptocurrency is far greater more better in terms of investment it can really have a good profit on it, besides many countries are now rooting on it.

That is the scenario that we have right now. Fiat is still the leader in doing transactions whether it is through online or offline transactions. Cryptocurrencies are indeed just an investment or a way to create more fiat currencies but it can be also used as a payment gateway because there are cryptocurrencies that only takes a few minutes to be received and that is what cryptocurrencies solve that the fiat currencies cannot.

Fiat is still highly used for transactions because people are not fully aware of crypto currencies. Those who are aware of these currencies are doing transactions’ with them and are gradually reducing the use of fiat for transaction purposes. If cryptos have power of being used as currency and investment then I guess common people will more likely prefer it over fiat. The only issue is unawareness.

Why is cash more convenient? I think if you get $ 1 million from someone, you need to explain the money to the bank and state in your country. A lot of trouble comes after that and you need to pay taxes on that money. But if you get $ 1 million in BTC, no one will investigate you and you won't have any trouble

We can use crypto to buy things online as it saves our time and gives us reliable shopping opportunities but with fiat, we can buy things by hand, as our life is so busy so we should use the only crypto to have needs for daily life even without disturbing our job.

Cryptocurrency is really good, the transaction is fast and unlike fiat you're not going to pay heavy fees for sending money abroad. If you compare Western Union, PayPal and all of them to Bitcoin, there is a huge difference between the fees. I pay way less for fees when I'm sending with Bitcoin, though one thing I noticed about Bitcoin is that as the price goes up the fees increase as well. But there are other cryptocurrencies you can use that are better than BTC when it comes transaction, and they charge less and are faster.
 
Since, Bitcoin is decentralized, you're able to trade with it from anywhere in the world. And another thing is that government choices can't inflate or deflate it. Cryptocurrency has a lot of advantages.

I don't get your point.  Still, we have very few options to buy things online with crypto and they are less reliable too but we have a lot of options to buy online using fiat from a reliable source like amazon, eBay, etc. Owning cryptocurrency means you are free to use it as your will but you need banks permission to use the fiat. It means when you are holding fiat in bank account you are not independent of your choice.

Well, there are no wrong particular answer to that. Your question must be answered subjectively, so it would depend upon the individual on which side they feel more convenient. As a crypto enthusiast our answer is rather biased. Of course, we would choose crypto over fiat however, there are some stuff that crypto can't function while fiats can, well, and fiats too. They are both limited on their fields.

Crypto is the latest technology and it is highly appreciated by users because they are acting as savings and investment and currency at the same time. This is the reason why people are highly interested in them and are not using fiat. Fiat needs to be carried safely and no matter how much you hold it; you cannot see any increase in its values. Moreover transactions with it could not be done within seconds.

In my opinion, it will be wrong to use one thing: either cryptocurrency or ordinary types of money. It will be more correct to show flexibility and take advantage of all types of money and payment systems. So far they all have some advantages of their own and at the same time have their drawbacks. Cryptocurrency does not yet have much liquidity and it is difficult to use it yet.

Don't necessary to choose one, we need both for now.
Fiat money and crypto have their own advantages such as instant payment with fiat currency in the form of cash and no boundless transactions across the world using cryptocurrency. If we can spend crypto as easily as using fiat money and everyone accepts this payment instrument, then crypto is more convenient than fiat.

Honestly I want both, both have market and community, people cannot just leave fiat, there are people and places that fiat is commonly used and there are people who will hard time transacting with Bitcoin, how about the third world countries where internet connection and electricity are scarce.

They both have there own benefits. Crypto is still very new and mostly be used by people across the world for investment only, it has very few practical uses at the moment. You need Fiat to live your life and you cant live without fiat. If anyone has to choose one between the two, it will be fiat.

So far that is the only problem with cryptocurrencies, if I could use my bitcoin to buy everything that I want and that I need then I will never use a fiat currency again but since that day seems to be so far away, especially in my country which does not have a single store that accepts cryptocurrencies near me, then I have no option but to keep using fiat as it is by far the easiest alternative I can use between the two.

But when it comes to everything else cryptocurrencies are way better, as an investment cryptocurrencies offer profits like no other market that I have ever seen and that is always a nice plus, especially if you are like me and you want to profit as much as you can.

Well seriously as of now, I would prefer both. If only these two can jive but I guess not. I am fond of using crypto currency not just bitcoins when sending money outside the country, because you spend lesser. But when it comes to using it locally, there are few people who accepts it and even don't know about it, so for now I would choose which is the best useful for me at the right situation I am on.

They can't do it with a credit card. They are followed. With Bitcoin you can make this payment. People are being pushed to use Bitcoin!

This is just one of the main characteristics that bitcoin do really emphasizes that really attracts the attention of people. Being anonymous in spending money is quite a good services and in addition, if they will figure out about the decentralization of bitcoin and crypto then they might pursue making it as their main currency completely. Because to think of reason how cryptocurrency becomes better that fiat, there is limitless possibilities of things that it could deliver, from making transportation easier, sending money anonymously, making fast transaction, and even incorporating the technology behind cryptocurrency which is the blockchain to develop dApps that could possibly benefits the whole country. Crypto has undoubtedly charismatic features which are totally lacked by fiat or conventional currencies. Crypto currencies simply give you opportunity of making great profits simply by holding them whereas this never happens with fiat even not with gold. you alright we can not live with only cryptocurrency. in daily life we need fiat money, cryptocurrency not replace fiat money anymore it makes difficult if you choose only cryptocerrency your crypto more useless when you convert it to fiat money, you need cryptocurrency for investment or your side jobs so the best choice are both.
