Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose?

As of now, we cannot rely on the cryptocurrency alone even if it is better to have than fiat, the global adaptation for us is still a dream, in short, we can't use our cryptocurrency if fiat doesn't exist, and that is what exchanges are for, we exchange it in available pair that has value in fiat, for example is Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrency that could be converted into fiat.

In my case, I'm using XRP as of now and exchange it into fiat, so that the transaction fee is not that big unlike bitcoin.

We can say that there's a lot of advantage in using a cryptocurrency between using fiat since it is way faster in terms of transaction especially payment method and I can also say that cryptocurrency is space saving because you can have a million or billion in your wallet application on hand. But there are also disadvantages, there are some countries that are not legalizing cryptocurrency, and there are lots of people scamming other. Maybe crypto being used as currency in the future if that disadvantage can be fized. We also know that cryptocurrency's value is volatile not like in fiat.

I am very sure that all members of this forum will choose cryptocurrency over fiat, because the fact is clear cryptocurrency
better than fiat. But because of its volatile prices, cryptocurrency cannot be accepted as a means of payment, and also
because cryptocurrency cannot be controlled, making the government not legalize cryptocurrency. It is really sad to know this
reality. Hopefully in the future there will be a solution related to that, so cryptocurrency can be a global currency that can

Can i choose both? Because right now cryptocurrency is still hard to use and not all establishments accepts cryptocurrency and still fiat is the best option for that. With regards to investment, of course I’ll go all in to cryptocurrency than to fiat money because of low interest when you use fiat money. Cryptocurrency and fiat money are both good, and fiat money will stay even on a bad days.

between cryptocurrency and fiat currencies have their respective roles for now. we can use cryptocurrency to make money, but it's still difficult to use for payment tools. whereas with fiat currency, we are free to trade, so by making a profit from crypto and realized in fiat currency, I think it will be more useful

In terms of a currency that will truly bind the whole world. Meaning, the world will become a single business community because there will be a single currency that will be acceptable to all and not just within a single country, Bitcoin is the perfect option. But when it comes to the domestic currency that does not require internet or anything related to it, fiat is the easy option. That is the currency in communities where there is not access to the technologies of crypto.

for me, crypto for digital asset and still use fiat. you are right, now, many platform provide other way to make easy user, like digital money, so you can deal when buy something easily. so, every part of this stuff have different portion, and it depend on country regulation, they have different valuation about crypto.

this is not the right thing to do , you should have re-worded it or gave examples of use where  you have to choose one or the other
for example , I can't do without fiat money currently , there are simply no traders or stores that accept cryptocurrencies , so if I choose crypto I'd most likely

I'm crypto users and maybe crypto lovers but don't mean i hate fiat because i need fiat for my life and i don't have any plan to eliminate fiat from my life because i have limited used for my crypto assets then i admit for my daily life i was more often to use fiat than crypto and although maybe crypto have more advantages than fiat money but in the fact crypto still cannot be used for daily transactions and more likely as investment tools rather than payment tool

Both currencies are essential for me. No need to choose, Cryptocurrency is for long term holding just like any investment hold it and sell it if the price goes up. For the fiat, it is needed to do micro-transactions just like spending it and buying goods in small shops. If we choose one of them and destroy the other one, it will bring us an unfortunate consequence, so for me, both are important and need to be kept. Cryptocurrency for investment and fiat for daily needs.

Fiat will become an ancient history soon as the crypto currencies are finally making their way in to the currency world. Many advanced countries are planning to bring crypto coins in 2020. This definitely is a sign of digital currencies’ era. With fiat, the main problem is that the governments can manipulate it as they please to. Their movements highly affect economical health of a common man. Digital currencies solve this issue.

I can't do without fiat money currently , there are simply no traders or stores that accept cryptocurrencies , so if I choose crypto I'd most likely

The world needs fiat currency and there is nothing that could replace that, i do not want a time where you can only transact only with digital or any other form of crypto and we need to have the option and freedom to choose any form of transaction as a free citizen and i do not want any government nor anyone imposing one form of transaction over the other.

Both of them are good, but in the world we are living in today I will choose fiat over cryptocurrency and that's because no one is using crypto yet. People are still getting to know about cryptocurrency and there isn't a lot of people making use of it and those that do mainly sees it as an asset and they use it for investment. Where I live there is nothing like cryptocurrency ATM or shops where you can buy whatever you need with crypto, people never talks about it. I even try introducing it to friends and they don't take interest in it.

Cryptocurrency is good in its own ways but the problem is adoption. I don't know why it's hard for people to adopt cryptocurrency. I hope the time is coming when things are going to be changed. And based on my research cryptocurrency ideas has been around for a long time, they just came out open this time.

i dont think that crypto creates an equality to all countries because not all countries treated cryptos the same and also not all people treated the crypto the same  . equality is hard to achieve but i think fiat can provide that somehow because all countries are using a fiat and majority of the people treat fiat currency likey the same  .  for me i would choose fiat and crypto because i used them both   . i use crypto to play online and i use to convert my crypto to fiat when i play  offline  .

Why compare it when we know fiat will prevail in this comparison since we all know the government withhold the strength of the fiat and it will never devalued by crypto since for sure people will think on it as second option asset and it's really hard to trust on crypto especially if we talk about huge figures of money(I can't feel safe since any wallets is hackable or easy to steal) while in fiat we can safe store in banks and if you are worried for inflation then for sure you will not feel it since your money in fiat will never get dump huge when volality strikes on it.

We don't need to remove the fiat currencies in our financial system, we just need to improve or upgrade them. Fiat currencies are now so old and the new thing that we would like to see for fiat currencies is to be fully digital and that would be perfect for people around the world because it will bring an efficient way to do transaction.

Both of them I need it, both crypto and fiat. Crypto in my country cannot be used as a means of payment, so far I have used fiat for various purposes, such as paying bills, buying food and others. Whereas I use crypto to invest and trade to get profits.

Exactly,  investing in cryptos gives us profits which we don't get when we just have FIAT but after all our investments we eventually have to cash out our profits and that's when we convert into FIAT because not a lot of people accept cryptocurrencies as a means of payment.
