Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose?

  Many people say that they will choose Crypto because it is convenient and creates a common currency, bringing equality to all countries.
And some people choose Fiat money because they've been used to using it for decades and now they have credit cards and wallet payment apps online, so why do you need crypto?

The comparison of the the currency depends on the people, the users who will decide on where and how to use their money. Crypto currency for me, is better when you are risky enought to invest and have high hopes on increasing your money conveniently and with less effort. On the other side, fiat is good through traditional transactions that are still not accepting any other payment and is more secure to store.

Once the lightening network is developed completely traditional transactions will also be done with bitcoin with ease. People who aren't much knowledged about investing and has got little knowledge to use computer can just buy and hold bitcoin. This will surely give assured return on the investment. As quoted, based on the usage both were chosen, fiat now is much required on day to day life transactions while bitcoin is preferred for long term holding and on trading needs to earn little.

i agreed with you that fiat is convenient for daily usage because most of the people in our societies do not know about the crypto and that is they use only fiat like consider a business owner who do not know about crypto will run his whole business on fiat, in turn we all will use fiat for buying his product, but crypto has also usage for online shopping and very good for investment too.

The market that accepts bitcoin online are so small and for most of the online shop owners doesn't want to accept bitcoin because it doesn't make sense for them because of the fees and transaction time that it would take to just get the payment. There are no absolutely perfect and perfect means of payment in us. While each means of payment has its advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, do not focus on either ordinary currency or cryptocurrency. They need to be used all, using their advantages depending on the goals we have chosen. I don't want to choose any side here because both fiat and crypto currency have a good use for us,  like in fiat we can use this in all store nationwide without verifaction on a 3rd party. as far as I know now I should not have thought about paper money because with paper money it is not too efficient for its use and increasingly expensive raw materials, it is better to use a digital currency system that can be more efficient when used, with the use of digital currencies not more natural resources.

I couldn't agree more, most people will still choose fiat over crypto because it is what they have been used to. It is very crucial at this moment to choose and decide for good whether to use only crypto and/or use only fiat. We are all aware how convenient and how good it is to use cryptocurrency, from the freedom it gives to crypto investors, users, and enthusiasts up to its feature of being a safe haven especially for investors that lives in a country that is undergoing an economic turbulence. Also, we can't just drop fiat (just in case) because not all government is open about accepting cryptocurrencies. Very well said but in my own opinion I think bitcoin cannot fully replace the fiat all though it will serve a huge help for the government to enhance their economical status because fiat is the pioneer mode of payment and we are using it from the late 1900 until now and it is very difficult to change from what we have used to.

Fiat is stable so it is entirely different from crypto, crypto was used as virtual investment asset and now it is more popular as regular currency as there are more adoption to it and e-voucher are there which ease the use of crypto. I think both is used in respective situation as fiat is general and crypto is famous amongst holder , i also use crypto for voucher rather than buying stuff with fiat.

I prefer to have both when there is a possibility to have both, there is an option not to use any because I am comfortable using both, there are instances that fiat is a must use and I invested in Cryptocurrency because this is a technology that will soon be integrated into every company and countries, and of course there is a profit to be made here.

Cryptocurrencies would take over the world soon but as far as fiat is being considered, it is not possible to eradicate it completely. Cryptocurrencies are being used at a much greater scale due to its anonymity but this kind of questionable resource is not yet applicable in the banking system .I think that both forms of money have their own significance and are not to be compared to find out better option.

Not sure if this question has been adequately answered. But here's my 2 cents:

I remember when I first heard about BTC and I thought it would be the next revolution of money - the kind of thing to replace fiat. But more than 10 years of its invention, it is yet to do without the fiat system. Now I do not imply that Bitcoin isn't a big deal, but I've come to the understanding that the one cannot do without the other (at least for those who have embraced the concept of decentralized money).

In short, it's not on whose side you're on that matters but what side on when you decide for relative utility (which is either as an investment vehicle or a currency). Imho, crypto in general still falls short of being the latter, so I'll use Bitcoin for now as an investment vehicle and stick to fiat for real-world stuff.

Well, there's no specific answer to that wrong. Your question has to be answered subjectively, so it would depend on which side they feel more comfortable on the person. Our reaction is rather biassed as an enthusiast of cryptography. Of course, we'd prefer crypto over fiat, but there are some things that crypto can't work while fiats can, well, and also fiats. On their fields, they are both constrained.

For me even I am currently working here at crypto world, I prefer to use fiat in my daily financial needs and my virtual coins here serves as my online bank and ATM because whenever I need money I trade my coins into fiat because here in my country cryptocurrency cannot be use as a mode of payment here thats why I have to convert my coins first into fiat before I can use it to buy or to pay bills and also as what you have said fiats has a lot of advantages that the crypto cannot be done.

I think it's quite naive to make them compete one against another because both have their flaws and cons as well. Fiat is so much adopted that we really can't just replace it given that many people are still uneducated on the uses and applications of crypto, lack gadgets and tools to store or buy crypto and much of world lies under poverty line.
