I will choose the top altcoin like ETH, BCH and litecoin that will be guaranted for at least to save your money to get a lot of lose. These coins will always give you comfortable when you hold them, it doesn't like when you choose the bottom altcoin position you will not have the comfortable to hold them for long term investment. You will face a lot of risk like the coin is being shitcoin and even didn't have value anymore, these thing have been happened so far. Many investor there who have got lost because of it and they were regreted. Because the chance to see by the investor is really norrow, they will be prefer to choose the top altcoin first for their investment place.

Having this amount of bitcoin ios enough for you to earn more but to make that possible you should indeed should some trusted and such a good altcoin for you to secure your profit. As long as you are sure that the altcoin you chose is better you don't have to worry but you just need to monitor and wait for the price to pump up. There are lots of altcoins that you can choose so the decision is important. Do not fall into the sweet words and promises of others because of what may be a scam, so you should be aware of that. It is on your own decision if you want to buy all of your money or if you want to save half of it. ethereum is good that we have to admit, but maybe it's not a good idea to put your bitcoin on ethereum, because ethereum is currently following the movements of bitcoin. so it's better to keep it in bitcoin and wait for the price that you think is enough to make a sale.

For 1 btc i think i will looking at holding half of it in bitcoin that is 0.5 btc in bitcoin, the remaining 0.5 will be 0.25 in ethereum and the remaining 0.25 in ripple.

Why do you turn your btc into a coin? Holding BTC is good also because no matter what happen, its price will move up. I think it is more good to hold bitcoin specially when its price is in 8k or less. If I have to risk my money, I probably choose bitcoin first before I try other cryptocurrency. Maybe 90% of it will go straight for long term investment for BTC itself and ETH is the rest. I don't want to risk anymore in other alternative coins. 1 BTC is big enough to encourage me to put most of it in BTC itself. Probably its the best way we can do. No matter what we saw and come in the market. Btc will always be the best. I learn a lot from the mistakes that I choose in previous investment and I always doubt to fixed my asset to BTC. It would be great if I'm just stick to my original plan and its hold Btc all the way.

 Bitcoin is already the strongest coin in this market
 and nothing can beat this.i think if you really wanted to have altcoin
 in your holding then better diversify and use the
 40% of that 1 bitcoin to buy altcoins like BNB and ETHREUM.so these
2 will be added in your holding and wait for the
end of this year to take your price but make sure you are ready for an extension in case the market don't give you good
 movement this whole year.

   It would be a stupid call to trade the whole Bitcoin for any other coin, even Ethereum! Diversifying
is the best what can anyone do with $8500. But safer investment in crypto-currencies can't be found,
it's Bitcoin!
   40% or less would be a reasonable decision, and every future investment needs to be appropriate,
to keep portfolio with +60% of Bitcoins and everything else to go in alt-coins, the ones on top! I would
leave, as I did in my portfolio, less then 5% for new promising projects.

But if Im going to convert my 1 bitcoin to the other coin Im going to choose the ethereum because aside from bitcoin the ether is most potential altcoin in the Cryptomarket and it will become more powerful in the future.
