I think the purpose of gambling differs from person to person, for me the overall purpose of gambling has always been to waste our time and money, the former being a very precious thing because as we all know the clock does not stop for anybody. The latter obviously could be earned but there will be regret when you lose it when you gamble.

There are gamblers at heart too, those people do not consider their time wasted by gambling because they are getting the thrill of it. I have heard somebody to be like this, not in the forum. He doesn't really care about how he lose because he's boasting how rich he is and he can't do anything with his money so he chose to gamble and it doesn't matter if he lose.

Lets accept it that even those who are gambling for fun have a desire to get some money inside them. Its just they can take their losses as compare to other gamblers since they are just using a small amount of money for them. One can always remember the games in the park and in crowded places where you are supposed to pick out a teddy bear out of the machine and you can never get it done but still try 100 of times , till you are out of cash .

That's the only surest way to win over and over but it won't take that long as the house will surely find it out and banned you after. The aim was never to get entertained but to win money by which you can entertain yourself. I do not gamble for the sake of fulfilling my addiction I gamble when I feel I should try my luck to get some extra money which I can spend for my entertainment.
