If we assume Atletico and Southampton would have won their matches, our average would have been 7.95 which is quite good then. A special mention goes out to @buwaytress who opposed Flamengo, would have been fun, if you won the MM with going against Flamengo in last game The good news is: Flamengo doesn't play next weekend.

All-time stats:



Trofo takes his sixth win overall and moves up to #2 in fame points after a drought of 13 weeks.
entebah scores his first win after 5 participations in total and with an average of 8.2 over these.

Our host rdbase had a new worst performance this week, although this should be with an asterisk due to the two postponed games
buwaytress is waiting to add to his fame points since September 5th 2020, which is the longest streak currently.

Im so bad. I only had 1 correct pick for the last 5 matches. You know it looks real decent when you had 5 correct picks while the player on top of the leaderboard only has 6. That was the moment that I think I might have a shot to get to the top this time but nope not this time again. This is also a great week though with only 13 matches

Every time when we are going on very heavily with Flamengo they are giving us shock match just end with 0 - 2 for away win

Last two or three Flamengo wins really makes most of us think that this time Flamengo will win again.

@buwaytress : nice hit on the away win. Normally most of us would be picking a draw instead or home win on Flamengo's match

Do you plan a reset of the table soon?

I kinda expected you'd have a restart in 2021 and hoped to hop on board, I like these kind of forum - type competitions - especially with such detailed statistics.

I know I can join now, but I was just wondering if you planned a restart at any point?

Yeah, I haven't won in this group for ages, I know I do have a tendency to pick one or two big upsets, such a shame about Ceara not even bringing me close to home, but yeah, one of these days, I'll bag top prize just because of that one final unlikely outcome;)

I didn't plan to reset anything because all-time is all-time^^ and the other table basically gets reset with every new MM and people can join (and leave) freely. But your post inspired me to actually have a seperate table for 2021, while keeping the all-time table, which I will then post only from time to time. And here it is:



And while looking at this, considering the fact Steve and his boss like what we are doing here and have been throwing in and offering some extra prizes for us in the past, I thought that we could maybe have some small quarterly rewards for a) most fame points and/or b) best average (elgible users must have joined like 80% of the time), which SB could maybe maybe just maybe sponsor

Now I don't know for how long SB plans to keep going with the MM, but I think it would be fun to have some kind of long-ish-term side competitions.

What is everyone thinking about this ?

So sad to see myself lying in 11th place with the main leaderboard, but happy for the fame points;) We all failed on the last pick as Flamengo had the huge upset,,, but I guess it was such a huge risk to pick Ceara, and then we would have ended up sharing 1st spot with 4 other people anyway.

I sort of expect Sportsbet to continue with MM competition indefinitely. I guess they manage to collect some money from our 0.1mBTC stakes and now they halved the prizes which suggests long term feasibility.

I am all for long term competition, we can wait to see if Steve can secure some more prize money for us but even if he does not I vote that we organize something ourselves. We can make it as pay per enter competition or maybe few of us can donate some satoshis to the cause. Sort of like some of you already did.

Even if they don't, we'd still be playing for something besides the overall fame - which is a bit of a stretch already to compete against for anybody who's new. Refreshing it here and there while keeping the all-time Hall of Fame table seems like the better thing IMO, it will probably spice things up a bit every now and then.

Another MM attempt went to waste. Just checked my track record and it's as bad as it gets. I need to start working on getting more predictions right. My only problem is that we keep getting more upsets every now and then. Flamengo, Bayern and a mistake I did for Atalanta game. Well, I just have to keep playing. I'm okay with the fresh start so that all of us will be at equal footing in terms of the average and count me in for the contest idea I really enjoyed the side competitions you guys put up last time.  

After looking at the schedule I have a feeling that the Arsenal game might be selected as the early game for the multi master but I hope not because I really think Arsenal takes it.

How about something similar to the superbru contest but limited to MM matches only?but instead of going for the correct score, we will be sticking only to the results of the match.  Run it for X number of MM and top 5 takes the prizes ? we can have like $10 - $20 buy in for this but everyone can still post their MM picks in this thread for fun in case they dont want to take a part in the contest

I think most of members will not like this concept like buying or spending money but still if someone want he can go ahead with this all but for me currently its going good without any issue and for winning prize just place a bet on sportsbet.io is also ok many members like me here just doing this all for fun and enjoyment are happy right now.

I like this idea so to have something more to play for other then getting stressed about the over all leaderboard on the sportsbet.io website. We will just need to organize it and maybe have it ready for the next one, not the one for this week.

This is also a great idea because shirts are always nice and the Southampton shirts are really nice, I don't know if it's because they are so close to the top of the table or not. But they are looking extra shiny these days.

Multimasters needs atleast 15 matches and the playoffs has four games left.
I believe sportsbet wants to keep all the selections down to one sport. Such as they have for the past multimasters.

Late MM, hope this means some people actually forget to come in and make their picks;) Maybe it'll be a bumper Sat/Sun selection and no Friday games to give us false hopes.

Liverpool-United is going to be the game with the most even picks am sure. Rarely do they meet so close, and rarely to those close encounters result in double wins. I'm of course already parlaying the weekend match with the FA Cup follow-up. Should be an easy 5x right LFC_Bitcoin?

yea the rest can be soccer, and if im not wrong they have mixed sports in the 15 legs previously
