Fair decision so far. Sometime a persons habit of posting in a place they like must also be limited, especially in megathread spam. In addition to being able to help forum not be too full of spam post, your decision as a manager can also increase the desire of campaign participant to post interesting thing on quality thread even though most of them have already done so. As a professional manager, your decision is very good in my opinion about megathread spam. Congratulation on the campaign that has reached 27 week.

Whenever you come across a topic which has already served its purposes as per your perception then you may go for reporting it so that mods will lock them out.

When we are all making use of "report to moderator" functionality more consciously, I guess this forum will remain with less possible spam and no more the problem of accidentally getting into spam-mega-topics.

We have an important announcement for those participants  who abuse posting in Spam Megathreads. Guys, if you don't fix it, we'll remove you from our campaign. Posting in Spam Megathreads is almost a 100% attempt to trick the advertiser. Moreover, it is just spam that uglify the forum.

Just asking for a small clarification. Are gambling discussion threads like this and this also in the same category of unwanted threads?

The threads were intended to avoid spamming the Gambling discussion board with same league topics by different members. I do like discussing sports and casinos sometimes and I wouldn't want to be caught off guard  

We are not going to remove participants who sometimes post in such threads. We will remove participants who mainly write in such threads.

Out of 26 posts, I wrote one post on 2020 NBA Season and one post on US Presidential Election 2020 and all other threads are new. (Still, these 2 topics are hot one with respect to current events).

I do post 5/6 days per week. I do write 1 or 2 post per one hour and I do not write more than 7 posts per day.


I request you to list what are topics (some example will be fine to be avoided so that I will never write on excluded topics).

I request you to re-consider your decision of excluding me. Just provide me one more week if I breach your guidelines then I will be gladly accept your exclusion.

After this post, I have gone for checking what are currently active spammegatopics, but surprisingly I am not finding anything significantly.

Only 1 or 2 topics are have 1000+ replies on each board. I guess mods left them open for some reasons.

Like someone mentioned gambling house topics are spammegathreads? Because, I do see many signature campaign are asking momentary posts on gambling section (not gambling discussion), I remember Yahoo include gambling post requirement for all gambling campaign these days and we are all know Yahoo is too conscious on fighting against spam.

Your official topic is already 8+ pages. You will discourage your campaign participants to write there?

spammegathreads concept were originated when some topics like "bitcoin will replace gold?" / "bitcoin or paypal" were celebrating their stay here with 1000+ replies. Nowadays I am not seeing such topics (please correct me if I am missing anything).
