Damn efialtis I didn't know you had registration problems! Mine took a while to load so I missed at least one hand when I entered, but it had put me as inactive anyway so no loss. I been observing on first break and yeah, spotty connection at times, I think a few freezes here and there but overall good connection and response from the dashboard. Here's how it looks after 1 hour and break:

Here's how it looks after 1 hour and break: I assume one of the inactive guys there is me , extremely dissapointed with sportsbet.io and how they handled it . They restricted my access to poker and slammed me with kyc , and even though I sent more then the documents they asked , restriction stands. And the least they could do is manually unregister me from it since they didn't allow me to play the tournament . I suppose I can consider it like a donation towards the first bitcointalk private poker tournament , but I'm extremelly pissed to how sportsbet have handled this.

GG guys, maybe next time I'll get some dead money to my left, lol. Waiting for them to bust out was just hard, folded so many pockets, until I couldn't handle it anymore, KK was worth going out with a bang, luckily it held strong. Edit: Hoping for the update how did the final 2 go between Betwrong and SyGambler

good game everyone , managed to win the event right before my laptop battery died guess next time we can organize something bigger , the software tho needs some fixes especially the sound notifications since if I switch tabs the poker tab won't make any sound when my time is running out and had many hands folded due to that I didn't have any connection problems with the site tho

Sorry guys I am out of this one. There is final match of Handball Euro 2020 played at 16:30 my local time which is just hour and a half after start of poker session. I don't know how long this poker tournaments tend to last but I don't want to risk it and find myself in position that I have to choose between watching my team fight for gold medal and earn some BTC This is what stopped me from joining too, I'll try to join for the next one. Congrats to the winner, how long did the tournament last?

Well done my friend, glad you took it home. I think the timing is about right. A bit uncomfortable as I prefer Saturday but it seems everyone else found it good. I agree the notifications need to work better, but overall I have had far worse poker experiences. The connection issue is probably on my end though (have to use very personal neurons if you get what I mean). Bigger tourneys definitely I agree. And... let's fix everyone's registration issues. @AlexSimion that really is tough luck I'm sure they'll do right by you if you reach out, but yeah, I think their support needs to be a bit more delicate... definitely you shouldn't have been allowed to register if you'd been restricted imo. @Trofo and cryptofrka: Now I'm really curious why you guys are into handball!

In Croatia it is huge. Mostly because we were a top team during the last 20+ years so we always fought for medals. Football is still no. 1, but most of us grew up watching our handball players fight for gold. They usually did it playing beautifully and with a style different from others and some of our players are considered among the greatest in the history of the sport.

Yeah unfortunately I did reach out to them , straight after they put the restriction . And apparently from their answers there not willing to do anything about it . so I'll just consider it a sponsorship for the first bitcointalk tournament .Nevermind , Steve came to the rescue , refunded my entry fee + gave me an additional free bet !

Good game, everyone! Congrats, SyGambler, on winning the tournament! I took the 2nd place, losing with pocket fives to SyGambler with pocket K6 in the final showdown: Although it was luck that helped SyGambler to win in this particular episode, I think he plays better than me overall, so, his victory is well-deserved. Here's the final results for all the participants: @figmentofmyass(FOMA888), with a bit of luck you could finish on the 3rd place even without showing up. Again, good game, everyone! Thank you, Sportsbet.io, for this tournament!

Exactly, success and emotions bread love for the sport in new generations. I will always have a soft spot for handball because of great moments from my adolescent years. I will never forget our golden generation with masterful playmaker Ivano Balic. Same way I got hooked on Tennis after watching Ivanisevic on Wimbledon, both in his lost finals as well as when he finally took the trophy home.

yep that would be great and I guess we can just share the password here publicly so in case someone wants to register right before the tournament he doesn't need to ask for the password at the end there was no money added from sportsbet so the there was no extra value for bitcointalk users , password can be public I guess since there is no real benefit of playing the tournament except having some fun with the community

I think the timing is about right. A bit uncomfortable as I prefer Saturday but it seems everyone else found it good. saturday vs sunday makes no difference to me, but pushing it back 4+ hours or forward by 2+ hours would be a million times easier for me. 2pm gmt is right in the middle of my REM sleep. i'll add a couple mBTC to the next prize pool if we can find a slightly more convenient time for me. (can pay the top players out manually if it's too difficult to do it through SB's interface) @figmentofmyass(FOMA888), with a bit of luck you could finish on the 3rd place even without showing up. lol. so close to cashing! So you guys agree we should repeat it and do a 2nd edition?
yeah, i'm in. note my time preferences above. but chances are that i'll make it next time either way.

Definitely do a round 2! We'll always have to find a way to learn and my lesson is: guys, play a few of the freerolls first. It's just a small prize but it'll familiarise you with the setup and tell you if you've got any technical issues. Let's do another poll vote for the timing of next time. And yeah, amazing how the inactive guy gets 4th =p
@Gl0bbo, very neutral networks also work since otherwise, I wouldn't have access!

I have a suggestion for the next tournament. I think, it's better to keep all those who haven't shown up at one table, so that no one could steal their blinds(if it's technically possible, of course). I know it's impossible(and maybe even a bit unfair) to keep going like this infinitely, but I think we can give 30-40 minutes to those who are late without ripping them off.
(Just a thought. Sorry if this is against some major rules.)
