Is Ethereum set new High in this Year

The ATH level of Ethereum was achieved almost 2 years back and then it was the ICO hype which propelled the currency to such a high valuation. But the ICO bubble burst after a few months and Ethereum came back to the previous levels. And I don't tjink that this cycle is going to repeat again. What happened in 2017 was a once in a blue moon event. Those who invested in Ethereum back then got 120x returns, which would look unbelievable if we compare other mainstream investment options such as stocks and bullion.

Based on the development release, we might have some higher expectation for ETH, at the beginning of this year already the price of ETH increased 50$ which seems to be very interesting. Once we see the development release definitely the price of ETH will skyrocket in this year.

It is very difficult for ethereum to return to peak prices as in 2018, because indeed for two years the ethereum price has fallen

The price went up due to pure speculation. There was no major news from the development team lately and there is still no clarity regarding the timelines for Ethereum 2.0. Also, the ICO sector is not showing any signs of life and seems to be inching towards its eventual demise. So it looks like the recent spike  may not last for too long.

The price of ethereum will rise this year, but in my opinion, it will not reach the new ATH. Maybe it will be achieved next year. the number of projects that use the eth platform does not affect ethereum prices.

Hoping for the best is the rightful thing to do now, and don't be too much aggressiveness on our eth asset to gain an abrupt change this month. It takes more time to fluctuate even more, in order to obtain a productive value. Furthermore, the signs of increase this month is a proof that eth contract still continues to provide more volumes on trading, so we need not to worry because erc20 still prevails it's worth.

Ethereum is About to set new high in this year . Most of the new and previos Projects are on the ETH platform.

I also hope that the price of Ethereum will rise very high and set a new record, because I bought Ethereum in 2018 (when Ethereum prices down very far), so if Ethereum prices increase very high (exceeding Ethereum prices in 2017), then I will definitely get a very big profit, therefore I still hold Ethereum that I have, because I am sure the project from Ethereum will be used by many companies and make the price of Ethereum can increase very high.

It doesn't matter if you expect Ethereum to be able to go to this new All Time High this year, because Ethereum 2.0 has not yet been carried out, speculation will continue. You know this game

I don't remove the fact that it can set new high this year but the chances of it are very low (like the chances of you winning to a lotto ).

Come to think of it, Ethereum price skyrocketed when the price of Bitcoin skyrocketed too so in order for Ethereum to reach a new ATH Bitcoin must reach a new ATH too. If BTC will not go beyond $20,000 then there will be new ATH for Ethereum. Anyway, anything is possible in the crypto market. Lets just see if what happens to this coin. With the staking system, I hope that more and more investors will buy ETH in the future.

I think you are right because etherum has done well in the past few days with its price rising up to 266$.
But still it somehow is under the radar, almost everyone is mentioning bitcoin surpassing 10,000$.

I think if bitcoin continues its bull run and increases in price, etherum will follow suit, and other altcoins.

With their positive news that's coming into the network it will see another all time high again. Since the positive movement, ethereum has been one of the best altcoin that has a good move. Ethereum upgrade maybe the possible cause of this move and bitcoin in general. Bitcoin movement always have a good impact on all other Altcoins. Hope to see another all time high for all cryptocurrencies as we have had in 2017.

It's starting to break the first potential high for this quarter and that is $300. We can't depend anymore with those projects that's working to build through smart platforms and dapps. This is now ETH alone that's trying to soar and with the help of bitcoin.
The skyrocketing is taking place but there might be some pauses before proceeding to that price level ($300).
