In 2017 Ethereum jumped to new recorded price due to ethereum investment in almost every ICo, but now Ethereum again needs something huge like ICO to fly again to new record value in price.

It depends on what way btc is heading. Although we are in 2020, wether you like it or not, alts will still follow the trend on btc. That clearly shows on why there's no alts that can surpass btc. If btc set a new ATH, then possibly same thing will happen with ETH and other alts. For now, it's too early to say that a new ATH will be set since halving haven't passed yet. You can only predetermined the way we are heading months after halving, most probably 2021 or last quarter of this year.

I doubt that because I see that at this time ethereum does not have many investors and there are already a few investors who are interested in ethereum because there might not be a good development so it is difficult to attract investors to support ethereum anymore, I am sure ethereum is as close to its death.

but the problem is ico's now are becoming obsolete  . ieo's now are the new trend  .  thats also the reason on why etherium havent increase alot unlike before that ico's was still hot  .

not just a simple milionaire can up the price of crypto but whales yes  . millionares dont care how the market goes  so dont give credits to them   . eth did jump up to 0.1btc before  ?  wow i didnt know that  . i joined on the late 2017 and the highest ath i see for eth were only at close to 400 usd  . now like i said above, i dont expect that the time can happen again  because there are now better alternatives to eth  .

I'm pretty sure they will have a great year this year Bitcoin halving and their POS features are coming, it's been a long time that Ethereum has not been recovered their old-time price and this is the opportunity that we are waiting for, better buy some now or regret later.

this year the ETH is likely to be at the point of saturation, rising or not, not decreasing, the maximum will not be any major change in the ETH. The replacement of the new platform on ETH is also felt to have less impact on ETH prices. Maybe it's because the market demand for ETH is lacking, especially since the rise of IEO which replaced ICO.
If only from 2017 ETH has a special market or a market that really originates from ETH, maybe the story will be different, let us look at the binance with its BNB coins and IEO.
And I think there is still plenty of time for ETH developers and their communities to make a new breakthrough in 2020.

eth has become one of the altcoins with considerable potential. because the volume and also their community is quite large and the platform they have also has a good level of use for developers who develop their platforms in this industry, because the use of the eth platform for new tokens is still an option, so I think eth is worth investing.

If the market is going to grow continuously, the ethereum price will probably gonna go up also since the value of the ethereum is dependent on the price of the bitcoin. When the bitcoin goes up, the value of the ethereum will go up also. The prediction on the bitcoin price after the halving will be 100k USD. So maybe, the ethereum will set its new highest price again.

Exactly, ETH price is completely based on the price of Bitcoin, at the beginning of this year we have already seen the price of ETH increased to some extent, but whether it will manage to continue till the end of the year we don't know but surely the price of ETH will increase in this year.

Indeed! More and more projects are adopting the ethereum platform. Its ability to create smart contracts makes the platform attractive to crypto projects. Ethereum is a long term investment, it will set up a new high eventually. Will it be this year or the next one, we can gamble on that. Ethereum has a lot to do in upcoming months, turning to staking is not so easy as it seems, they will have to do a lot about that. Before eventual price rise, at least some more serious rise, ethereum will have to finish with that upgrade, and only after that we will see some significant price rise, at least that's my opinion about ethereum in this year. to surpass the highest price that has ever been reached in the market I think it will be difficult because the current price is quite different. but if you make a good ATH this year I think it will not be too high but it will look better than the current price.

Actually many altcoins were really recovering at these year, it may be the impact of halving and especially the plans ETH have been put too. Many still see and uses ETH platform for new projects and even the old once. Hopefully, ETH will recover fast this year.

Not really true considering that if all the influx of capitals were coming from all these altcoins which could automatically increase bitcoin dominance, so many altcoins will be doomed. Last year the bullrun for bitcoin affect greatly all the altcoins and makes them got dumped so hard. There are too many factors that contributes to the price of altcoins, although the influence of bitcoin price movement to these altcoins is half true.
