This happened a few times in row now:
Blocks get confirmed, they are added to my balance, then somehow they get "unconfirmed" and disappear from my confirmed balance!
Something seems to be wrong with this coin.
First time mining? This has nothing to do with the coins. Blocks get confirmed yes, but they are still immature. Like I said earlier, someone is a fraction of a second faster than you are. The block reward will go to the first one. i could see the clock in transaction list about 11 confirmation then a green notch then gone

Is it just me or was anyone else thinking the same? Using the same folder for the blockchain as where the qt is located is really useful, never seen it before.

No, nothing is wrong. These are just orphans blocks, somebody got them before you and the coins gone for this one. Yes, I believe there is something wrong. On every other coin I ever mined, the orphan blocks didn't get to be confirmed. They stayed unconfirmed and then they disappeared. Nothing is wrong. Just somebody was more fast, it's a lot of hashrate right now. Are you actually reading my posts? Let me explain it again: The blocks get found, become immature, then they become confirmed, then they disappear / get orphaned. After they are confirmed. THAT is wrong. How can a network that reverses CONFIRMED blocks be trusted for reliable transactions?

This does seem quite useful indeed. On the other hand, the original intention of writing everything to a directory inside the home folder was probably to get around permission issues.

Failed attempts at sarcasm are quite lame. As I said before, how can a network that reverses confirmed transactions can ever be trusted?
