EFL is for trading not for use, I said this 2 weeks ago. NLG will be used more at merchants because like you say there is going to be a lot more so will work better as a currency and Merchants will see this fast no matter how many newspaper articles that come out.

The more there are the lower their value; Technically EFL and NLG are equivalent but there will be 80-times more NLG, whatever the unit you use; Looking at http://coinmarketcap.com/all.html and following their "current supply" NLG only outpaces EFL by a factor of 21, but factor 80 is the way to look at them.

If you were to buy the Blackvue DR500GW-HD You would Pay about Btc0.8, Eu290, $400,  Efl40000 and Nlg400000 ; Nlg is currently the least convenient I would say  (The opposite of works better). If they were to sell five of those devices for Efl they would hold about 1/100th of the entire Efl economy;  What a deflationary power !

I disagree, based on the above EFL should have 4 times higher value then litecoin now, litecoin should only be 1/4 less valuable the bitcoin? That's not how it works or 42 would be the best crypto. There is coins with 20 times the supply of others that trade for a lot higher. It all comes down to what people see has value.

Look at Dogecoin, trades almost the same as NLG and has over 60 billion coins in circulation, NLG has +- 40 million, dogecoin was producing over 700 million coins a day before the block reward halved.

To Add both EFL and NLG price can go up much higher!

Ok, I am just trying to reason here. The Efl-Nlg case should be easy to compare, because they bare many similarities. Comparable release date, same area etc. Off course you should consider the network power (very large with Doge) : http://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/hashrate-ltc-doge-ftc.html . it's still fragile with Efl (100 Mh/s) but with Nlg ? I see their prime pool got hacked (http://guldencoin.miners-pool.com/)  and I don't have a clue what there hashing power is right now.

Maybe it's just a merchants business and too early to tell, but it's interesting as well

For those wondering why it's been so quiet in here, we have send a newsletter to over 15.000 dutch citizens that claimed 50 EFL on our website and told them to move over to our own community forums.

For those wondering why it's been so quiet in here

I guess the reason is rather the ever decreasing price of EFL

And it doesn't stop dropping Sad. Lost over 1 BTC on this coin, which is a lot for me, hope it bounces back sometime.
Saved half of coins and sold half at huge loss.

The multipools are taking out the last sell orders.

Without a massive reboot of the community and proof of airdrop, this coin is in trouble.

Bought in for 1 BTC. Which was worth $420,- by that time. Oh well. I bet the guys who are behind the EFL are laughing their asses off right now Smiley

Must have been around 0.0005 . Those who are selling now at 0.00001 are doing you a fucking favour. They allow you to step in at a new low, don't they ?
Since you made us think you are a genuine early adopter !

The only other problem if prices remain too low for so long is that EFL will end up in a few hands like a lot of low production coins.

I highly doubt this coin is a scamcoin, dev has always delivered so far. Price was just to high due to all of the media attention EFL had last month. Now is the right time to buy. The EFL community needs to step up though and show that they are committed. Reading your posts makes me wonder if you are actually committed to this coin or just joined in to make some quick $. Shame really...

I agree, too much media focus and nothing else... the thing is why create all the buzz initially if the plan wasn't to sell out at higher prices, maybe the intention was to get btc to put more funds into EFL.
Only 10.5 million coins are available to the rest of the public and I am sorry to say only bitcoin can work with so few coins because the price is high enough, if EFL is going to be worth over 100 Euros one day then it can work but that is a incredibly high goal and not enough btc to support those prices with all the other alts and services btc is being used for.

It's going to be a tough sell and you will definitely need the dutch citizens behind this 100%, which might be impossible with NLG which seems to be gaining momentum.

The community should really decide on EFL or NLG and join together, I don't think it will be a problem for the teams to join if bringing cryptos to the Netherlands was the intended purpose and not self enrichment.

NLG might be the better option of the 2 currencies long term for supply reasons as mentioned above, also only 10% premine as opposed to 50% and has a unique specification aligned with the dutch population. Just being honest here , but please feel free to debate why EFL should be the main crypto for the Netherlands...

Hi guys,

Just a quick update. We are currently working hard on setting up a institution for more transparancy. Hopefully upcoming week we will be done with all the paperwork. Also we are still distributing coins daily. And currently have 17% of our premine distributed. The premine adresses are still open to look into.

We know that it's very hard nowadays to make a coin succesfull and we really depend on the community rather than developing 'stuff' around EFL. So keep spreading the word and also check out our forums at www.e-gulden.com

For an example some people in our community created the  Android wallet, EFL casino and a faucet and there is alot more coming soon!

We will attent Bitcoin2014 aswell @ Amsterdam P. Terminal to see if we can spread the word over there  Grin

Similar thing occurred with IsraelCoin in the first week, now it has lost 8000% and volume is down 1000%. It's another issue with low supply coins is that the price can be easily pumped and dumped, which is why they can't be used by merchants easily as the price is not stable enough, however it is fantastic for trading.
