Always been like that whenever there is some hype or demand or interest of people then its already expected for those kind of sequel or trilogy or even go with 4th time.

Delays or movement of dates are normal and we dont have no choice but to wait up if we are really eager to look or watch that fight.They are the ones would be dictating on when it would

If this is just another dumb marketing trick in order to warm up the interest of boxing fans in the fight, then in my opinion it works in the negative. Constant changes in dates lead to the fact that interest disappears because indifference comes like: when there is a fight, then we'll see. It depends upon how Tyson Fury is going to recover, there are some that struggle for months to regain their physical condition after getting infected and i could not find any updates regarding the condition of Tyson Fury, may be we might see the trilogy as the year end fight but it all depends upon how Tyson Fury is recovering and how soon he can attain top physical condition.

The news only says the fight will be postponed but they will make it happen. I have not read the news yet about Fury's condition but Fury as a boxer who has a lot of training, I'm pretty sure he can handle any disease especially covid-19 which is just like flu for one that has great stamina.

I agree with you, if this is just a publicity stunt to generate hype then it is not going well. People are getting bored with it.

Most boxing fans want to see a unification fight between Fury and Joshua but will be happy to see any exciting fight take place including Joshua vs Usyk and Fury vs Wilder III before that. The constant negativity surrounding the Fury-Wilder trilogy has been a huge let down for most fans.

I wonder what the chances are for a heavyweight unification fight between Wilder vs Usyk taking place in 2022

Does everyone trust Fury’s camp to be telling the truth? The skeptical me thinks Tyson Fury is only trying to do what Wilder’s camp did to him when Wilder’s camp broke Fury’s unification versus Joshua.

Another skeptical thought is Tyson Fury might be doing this as to cause more anxiety on Wilder which will certainly affect him psychologically. I speculate another postponement until Fury announces he is ready on January 2022 hehehe.

Eddie Hearn seems to think they've delayed it due to poor tickets sales and lack of interest in the fight, which could seem plausible but you have to take Hearn's word with a pinch of salt as he's obviously still annoyed the AJ fight didn't happen. Pushing it back as far as they have seems suspicious though.

then for sure interest for this trilogy would really be close to the floor. Trying to delay just because they are minding much about revenue? Its normal to mind of about it since this is business

Is it though? I mean, Covid recovery is probably expected fairly quickly for an elite athlete if the rumours are to be believed that is. Okay, Fury is carrying quite a bit of weight, and that would probably be a risk factor, but hes probably fitter than most. Besides, you'd probably wait until he had recovered from Covid before you reschedule the fight if that was your only concern.

The only valid reason I see that this might be an issue, and therefore was set for October would be they couldn't secure a suitable venue sooner, although with the amount of events being postponed, and the amount of money they would be able to throw at the venue holders, it probably isn't that restrictive.

People are annoyed by this since we were hearing rumours of Joshua & Fury basically fighting some point this year, probably in December which completely destroys that narrative.

It is a good conspiracy but if the camp of Tyson Fury is making this up it means they are delaying the fight which means he is not fighting any other fighters either and i do not think they will waste time like that.

Interest on my part is fading just as it is with others because it is moving too slow. Maybe Joshua fighting Usyk first will bring Fury vs Wilder III back to the imagination of those who looked forward to it before the problems started, there will after all be an eventual unification fight between any combination of those four fighters.

Eddie Hearn might have been right about the lack of ticket sales but it cannot be denied there is still interest in the fight albeit like you said momentum and hype are affected because of the slow process involved. Eddie Hearn will say what he needs to say to present Joshua in a positive manner while making allegations towards possible opponents therefore I am not surprised because it is expected of him.
