There are too many scam campaigns nowadays, we cannot blindly participating on any campaigns.
We better to take our time much longer for observing than getting nothing at the end of the campaign because scam.
things that we can not avoid at this time about fraud campaigns, but unfortunately there is no action so that this does not drag on, so that it can return to normal. but actually this situation began to gradually improve if there was no epedemic corona so many projects had to stop because of this situation.
but I am very confident that all scam projects will begin to disappear with many more careful participants to determine participating.

We can do that but the problem is too much bounty participants that don't even wanna try to do a small research and that makes the scammers get free promotion by these lazy hunters. We have created so many awareness threads but they are still promoting the scam project. This is the real problem that is not yet solved.

This is the truth of the difficulty in finding campaigns that actually pay, regardless of whether their job is related to attracting investors, there are reasons behind the suspension of payment, not even in accordance with what they promised. Then again prize hunters are seen as a nightmare for developers when they start selling tokens or coins they get on the grounds that prices will fall

~snip~
Then again prize hunters are seen as a nightmare for developers when they start selling tokens or coins they get on the grounds that prices will fall
That is the reason for the project team bullshit. Isn't the distribution schedule planned in such a way as to anticipate falling prices as a result of massive sales by hunters?
Falling prices are not the fault of the hunter, but the development team failed to maintain the function of the project so that their coins are less interested.

Nothing is difficult as long as we want to try hard, it's just that everything we try requires a process and time so we can know about the clarity of any project, and don't stop participating in the bounty campaign, as long as the bounty is still okay and feasible to follow.

1. Delays doesn't mean bad project.
2. Teams are different from other
3. Professionalism got levels
4. My biggest payments from bounties are from low rated bounties
5. Quality projects are always full of participants which means you are getting low rewards.
6. Whatever the case may be what matters is getting paid and selling for good price on exchanges

I appreciate your observations but spend too much time observing, it will be really helpful or not at this time because you also understand that phishing may not appear at the beginning of the campaign, it may appear at the end of the campaign, even at the time of distribution, the more we observe, we also cannot see the future in the end, waste of extra time to observe is really not useful. We should replace it with more appropriate actions, participate more in campaigns, like a game of luck, we will find a good result at some point.

Alchemy bounty manager always update spreadsheet very late and sometimes it takes more than a week for him to update the spreadsheet and many bounty hunters get angry and start leaving but in the end he finished the job once the bounty is over, learn to have patience
Whatever all of bounty managers can't update in the spreadsheet on time, so alchemy bounty BM is no exception, he wasn’t actives regularly because of possibly he maintaining another jobs. I think we can't judge a project by BM, because BM isn’t a part of the project developer. But if task updates will delay hunters can't satisfied. Who's deeply analyzed Alchemy they didn’t stopped work, they know that it's a reliable bounty.

Yes, and all hunters also have their own way of analyzing a project that he wants to follow, because almost the average hunter will definitely feel tired when they work on a scam or an unclear project.

I prefer to post this here on this section because this is where it actually originates from. This is where the bounty scammers come to catch their "prey"- hunters.

Therefore, I have observed that since 2018, after the 2017 crypto bull , almost all bounty have been failing. After months of running bounty, some that manage to get to the exchange are dead on arrival with less than a dollar worth of 20,000 unit (or more unit) of shit distribution to hunters.

Consequently , with my little time here and as far as I have noticed, their are certain signs that seem like a no go area if we really want to participate in a fairly good bounty that we can also benefit from our labour, time and data.

These signs for me are :
1. When the thread is filled with grammatical and typographical errors.

2. When the task in the different or any of the allocated bounties are not defined. For example, how many facebook shares / posts are not defined and then you are left with asking from the shit BM. This is definitely and certainly a red light.

3. When the task is limitless. For example, no limit to shares/post.

4. When the task is too much. For example, 10 shares  Grin

5. When the requirements to get your reward is complicated. For example, you can be asked to sign up and provide referral number or code  Grin

6. When the process for reward isn't proper. For example, you notice you will be asked to watch a video to know how to provide wallet address or downlines  Shocked Roll Eyes Grin

7. When spreadsheet isn't updated weekly.... Just run  Grin

8. When weekly dates are not seen either on the thread or spreadsheet.

9. When you see only week 1 , week 2, week 3 etc just on spreadsheet without date.

10. When complaints on telegram isn't responded to promptly and you are not satisfied when you get response.

11. You don't need to continue if you notice you have been deleted from telegram and you know you have been asking legitimate questions to understand things not clear to you about the bounty.... Run run fast  Grin

12. When it is not handled by a reputable account as BM.

13. When there is no ANN at the beginning or it is provided later in the bounty maybe because someone is consistently requesting for it.

These are some signs I can remember and I know they are negative signs for you not to be paid after you do your part most times.

*** These signs are ; apart from whitepaper typographical mistakes and plagiarism  Grin Grin Grin

If we go with these signs and not sign up with a bounty you suspect could be scam, then the bounty will have less participants and with time, we can clear these scamming bounties out from this forum.

Each one tell all. You don't need to join suspected scam bounty.

I hope this thread will help bounty hunters.

You have given good signs about bad bounty projects but i do not agree with all.

Most of the tasks and rules regarding the bounty are just the terms of the bounty manager to bring out a perfectly executed campaign on all grounds for the project.
A bounty will easy 3 shares per week will refuse to pay hunters, whereas a bounty with 10 shares will do pay the rewards.

A concrete research function is important to ensure as a bounty hunter, if you choose 10 projects, 8 will be rewarding.

I don't judge bounty project based on how the bounty manager handled the campaign, most times the blame is on BM for his or her inexperience, profits can be make out of any bounties no matter how ugly they may look

Profit from bounty when you don't get distribution of coin tobyour wallet? Or when you receive 30,000 unit of shit pieces that is worthing some $5 after much weeks of task ? That isn't proper and you can't make profit in such is just a waste of time.

That is the risk. So we must analyze the project well. Estimate the allocation with the specified tasks and periods. Do well, make sure you understand the risks when your expectations don't match reality.
So many dramas on the bounty nowadays. The reward is locked and the unlock is completed in a 365 day period, do you have to wait for one year? there is something like that. But there are still legitimate bounty campaigns, such as cartesi who have successfully cooperated with Binance, although the rewards are distributed within a certain period, it has been explained from the beginning by the bounty manager.

for that you have to find out in advance about the project you want to participate in, results like that are a waste of time, what else sometimes there is a very long bounty duration but the price is not what you want, I have several tokens that I produce from the bounty and up to now still some are not yet on the market

Maybe that is the sign that bounty are scam but we don't blame the bounty hunters because they need to earn money.

This is one of the sample that hunters will follow so once they see some about the campaign they join maybe they can leave or not to join anymore. I hope it can help them this thread to know the possible scam bounty campaign project.

Indeed that was the signs to determine if the bounty is scam. But the real problem is hunters are not paying attention about these. Sometimes they are just looking for the allocated rewards and the manager who will manage the bounty. We forget about the important factors to look for before joining thats why hunters are ending up in scam project.

Not all the thing can can be obtained by an effort or your hardwork. Bounty campaign is not about choosing a project then you will be paid by it but more than that you have to pay attention the project that you promoted. You need money and the project either is need money. You can push yourself to know more about the project first beforw you joined, especially you came to this forum that there are a lot of guidlines how to choose good project so it will be better to learn it first before you choosw the project to earn money.

Your number 12 point says 'when it's not handled by a reputable BM' well since I've entered crypto space the few money I've made from bounties are from bounty campaigns managed by the team themselves, I've tried others like arteezy but no luck, the BM knows how to conduct a bounty campaign very well but that's it, projects don't pay or just quiet forever

The number 11 is sometimes the better proof that the team are covering up something, because if they aren't, asking questions doesn't warrant removal from the group. When someone asks a question which might expose the team in certian areas they ignore it, asking the question again leads to ban.
Also, your other points are enough proof that the project is not worth the time and attention of anyone. In the same way, it is good to know that even some of the good ones tends to play with hunters when it gets to distribution time which is where having a good manager comes to effect.
